It is great to be back, and I really hope that you like this video - we really enjoyed working together to record and edit! Just remember to put the air box together with the trim and cover and filter section off of the car for ease - my way did work, but it wasn't the easiest method on reflection, haha!

Can't believe Tim has bought an R56 !!
He used to hate minis... but we've worn him down! The customer came in with a wrecked engine, and he bought it and fixed it. Haha! Finally, in the fold :) Thanks for watching and following! Miriam xx

Thanks for the awesome video. Suggestion: May be too little too late, but you should definitely get rid of that noisemaker behind the airbox. You'll have more room to work on things (like this mod) and it helps air flow to the turbo, which that little monster steals away ever so slightly. You'll love the extra room too.

I’ve had a mid life crisis and just bought my first Mini Countryman (R60 ‘S’) as a family car. But now can’t stop looking at little mods to do on it!

Nice video! More of these please. I had my Mini Cooper S R53 now about 3 weeks. Getting it in nice condition. previous owner didn't take care of it at all... In some point need to order many parts from you, hard to find parts here in Finland.

I say on the manifold cover, if the company can't send you one undamaged; then they don't need their name on the cover. Sand it back to metal and put your own color on it. Then you have a nicer looking piece w/o some company's name ruining the engine bay.
That might be the way we end up going. we will just have to see how it goes. We thought we had an issue with it, but I think it's something else as we fitted a new cover and wad still the same after, so that good :) thanks for watching! Miriam xx
Would these fit a mini one 1.6 auto that is an R56?

Yea, it does sound great! Wish it didn't have the dump valve on it though as would be nice to get a true sound test but definitely loads better though :) throttle feels better to but that might be a placebo :) thanks for watching! Miriam xx

Market is full of them AEM, Airtec, Direnza, K&N etc.
