I think it's okay
Pac-Man World 2 is definitely the more successful one, both in quality and reception. Much better in every regard, especially the gameplay. Hoping that one gets remade as well.

with in the first 5 minutes i was going to say it reminded me of crash, but worse. platformers and i don't get along, so it's for sure not a game for me.
To its credit the game has an easy mode so maybe you'd be able to manage. The question is why would you want to?

So I 100%ed the game a few months back after I remembered playing the original something I found while it isn't going to change the game or anything at least fundamentally is they added a delay between butt bounces making it feel just that much more off and wrong because in the original you could just utterly spam it and at least made my 4-10 year old adhd brain least feel like I was going faster
Did you play on the graphics mode? I feel like the delay isn't so bad on the fps mode but I do get what you're talking about, it felt so hard to do some of the jumps that required you to do the slams because of the delay!
I watched my buddy stream this game and I think he had a similar experience. Remembered it from his childhood and did not enjoy replaying it. I think he was just relaying the original though
