I actually own both on the Wii, solid 7/10 games to me. Though I understand how it's definitely not for everyone. If you're looking for similar style of game, but I've always felt was much better (& is getting a third entry soon) I highly recommend the Bayonetta series.
I remember trying the first one and being unable to get into it. I'm not as big a fan of those score attack get a rating at the end of every level type games. But may give it another chance now that I'm older and more picky and curmudgeonly. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@capn_sarge personally I ignore the scores at the end of levels & treat them like a standard action game.
I've always been on the fence about this series. I feel like I would really enjoy it, but the non tasteful side of it is quite off-putting. Be interested to see what you think of Travis Strikes Back, being so different to the previous games.
Luckily the gameplay is mostly isolated so worst case you could skip cutscenes or something. Actually have Travis strikes back downloaded on my ps5! Hoping to get to it at some point soon. Thanks for checking out the video!
