"Bailey" always acts nervous and shy when the guy comes in the kitchen, but on this one it seemed like she was legit scared and starting to freak out. I bet she had that instinctual feeling you get when you know you are in danger. I wonder if Chris made the decision to show himself early because he could hear and see what was happening or if the actress has some sort of emergency signal and she sent it. After doing so many episodes, I'm sure the actors and the crew recognize "normal" behavior and realized that this guy was not behaving how they expected him to. This was a scary one.

I was abused and traumatized by my father, who never molested me but was incredibly creepy around kids. I don’t want kids, but at the same time, I’m not hunting them down, nor do I have any interest in that. PTSD can make you do irrational things, like in my case, not want to go outside some days or be generally unmotivated, but it doesn’t destroy your ethical compass or make you interested in kids or violent toward others necessarily. I’ve never been a violent person and violence or any sort of aggression terrifies me. I’m more like the Michael Jackson song Beat It in an awkward situation. I’ve never been in a war, but I don’t think you can justify targeting innocent kids like that with going to war. If anything, you’d think you’d want to target the people responsible for your PTSD, if anyone. I didn’t even have violent intent toward my father. I just wanted him to disappear - or be better.

This one was probably the scariest one I’ve seen… Yeah you can’t “assume” he was going to use anything more than the condoms, but the fact he was trying so hard to get her to leave with him in that same vehicle certainly doesn’t paint a comforting image at all. They kept commenting on the gun, but the knife, duct tape, and camera scared me more tbh. I feel like those items could be way more threatening than merely having a loaded gun in your vehicle, especially considering the circumstances…

    • @genevievec.8002

Yeah I also feel like the duct tape, camera, and knife are more out of place. Those are things you'd usually keep on your person, or not in a vehicle. I keep tools and stuff in my car - rags, an actual tool kit, jump cables, etc. Not duct tape though, it's not really a traditional item your likely to need in your car. Combined with the camera, weapons, and an underage girl he tried to lure out... Very disturbing imagery

As someone in the military, I guarantee that he made all his female coworkers uncomfortable. He probably said some nasty shit or harassed them in some way. The amount of men I have come across similar to him is gross. What’s even more disgusting is the lack of punishment until it gets to a point of no return, and even then, they don’t get proper punishment 99% of the time. I knew a guy who harassed and hid in the closet of a women during a trip, only for nothing to happen to him because “people express themselves differently”. Same guy ended up growing marijuana at home (nothing wrong with the drug, but can’t have it in the military), had a stash of weapons, the plans to my building HVAC, a manifesto on why ISIS would win the war, and what they thought was stuff to make some type of gas. Only then was something done to him. They couldn’t prove his plan behind a doubt and he only got 1 year in jail and kicked out of the military.
I’ve had plenty of creepy and gross encounters with men as well. Not to say women don’t do this because there were a couple of deranged women I’ve met too, but man… the stories I hear.

Its entirely fair to stereotype men as having these dangerous issues. This guy sounds like he could be preparing to be a terrorist and when you actually look into global statistics about people who become terrorists its overwhelmingly men. The very very few women that become terrorists almost exclusively are infertile aswell, so make of that what you will.
Its important for us to figure out why these people go down this path and if its something caused by environment take steps to remove alter that.
This guy feels like he was just born a creep, but its impossible for us to know, from what we've seen, if decades of bad social interactions led him down this path or if he was always going to get there.
Its still inexcusable regardless, but I just want us to find ways to reduce the incidents of these awful people.

Definitely not) but he probably did heinous things overseas to either civilians or his fellow soldiers (since we know the militariterum justice system isnt exactly just and fair, probably worse than the american judicial system). The nice old Santa Claus Professor, the politician looking like Tom cruise, the mentor that takes in all the problem kids that no one else wants to deal with seemingly out of the kindness of their heart, and finally and most disturbing all the adults that were sexually abused and scarred as children (the people you’d think hate pedophiles, but for some reason can become them).

    • @XMewMoonLightAkitaoX

The victims of sexual abuse who turn out like their abusers have their reason. It is a way of coping with what has been done to them by inflicting their pain on the others, allowing them to detach from that trauma/properly understand what happened to them. While some people will try their best for that trauma to never be repeated to them/people around them, you have the other group that might eventually become their abuser due to the trauma messing with their minds. It is sad because it is not a fully conscious thing. Their abusers' behaviour might imprint on them and become their new 'normal' behaviour. They might never realize that they shouldn't treat people this way. Or if they do, sometimes they might catch themselves acting exactly like their abuser despire their best efforts not to. It could be done out of spite, bitterness, anger, desperation. There are numerous factors that cause this transformation. I'm no expert, so don't quote me on this. But that is as far as I can remember from psychology classes and what I have read about.

I really think the only reason they didn’t tase him was the fact he was ex-service and the ptsd potential of it. They could’ve triggered something very serious to happen there, but I still wish they would’ve been able to especially after the kill kit.
