I just got a kershaw bel air, and just before it I got a Benchmade 9400 Osborn auto with burnt copper handles and a magnacut blade the benchmade was 3 times as much and wasn’t any better of a knife. In fact the benchmade couldn’t even shave hair on my arm the bel air can shave. The benchmade has more blade play and the auto button feels gritty. It’s still a great knife but you are really paying for the name Benchmade… they really are a bad value considering for the higher end benchmade knives you could almost get a nice custom folder. I have piranha auto knives that were a third of the price made in Idaho USA and s30vn and s35vn blades and they feel every bit of the same quality of the benchmade knives. So to each their own but I probably won’t ever buy another benchmade unless I can find a great deal.
The Shark Cub is a lovely knife, just a little small for me though. 😩(For context the AD20 is a touch cramped for me and another half inch would not hurt!) (Well that's what she said! 🤣) Had to have one for the collection though!
Yea like I said before, having super large hands is probably more of a pain when knife collecting. good for boxing and other combat sports but not so much when trying to actuate a piddly little lock 🤣. Shark cub is a banger tho, I was hoping that I would feel the same way when the microjimbo came out but I took a hard pass on that. My original goat scales are in the making right now for my 🦈 cub!
@@Archetype_EDC I purchased kc exclusive hectare based off your recommendation. And just want to thank you sir 💯 Also got the shark cub because of your recommendation as well
I like it, I saw that one the other day as well, has the burlap micarta and a pretty good deal. I already have one in Elmax and Arctic Storm fat carbon so I think im good in the drop bear department for now. If you like the look of that KC exclusive I would recommend people to jump on it. They are very popular models so it will be gone soon, especially at that price (drop bears are usually surprisingly expensive, especially on kizers website)a
Great video man. I did like when you referred to the overseas ones and the US ones because that does matter. Thanks again.

How do you feel about the Kizer drop bear? They have an exclusive right now in s90v on knife center for like $140.

I agree. I neither am a fan of the Bugout. It’s way too expensive for what it offers. There are very good and cheaper alternatives.
