Go to alarm function and push the stop*reset button you’ll see a musical note appear on the right side of the screen. That’s how you activate or mute the beeps
This is a nostalgic watch for many buyers. I agree that it is incredibly comfortable. It might be my most comfortable. Hard to say. I'm so glad it doesn't say Huckberry. Thank you Timex and Huckberry!! Great fair review!!
That beep when holding the light button means you enabled a mode where the light will now come on every time you push a button. You can also "flick" your wrist to have the light come on automatically (hence the Flix name). Similar to the auto-el backlight function on gshocks. The flicking motion is pretty hard to trigger though. That whole mode turns off after a few hours
Can find ones that are pretty close. I picked one up a couple of years ago as close as I could to the one I had through Jr High and High School. Not the same, but gives off the same vibes
I picked one up in June last year due to owning an original reference in the late 90s. Took me a few weeks to accept the price however I get a lot of satisfaction from wearing it.
I have a '93 triathlon and it still looks pretty good. Wear it now in a CNS mustard yellow nato.bthe battery really does last 10 years. Just did the 3rd battery change. Accurate ta boot!
I’ve heard issues of people smacking them against a door or something and it breaking quite often, I’ll stick with my G Square for the price if it was around $60-$75 I’d buy one but $110 is a stretch for myself personally
I have the original version of this watch. I wore it for years until the strap broke. I put a regular strap on it. It still works but the bezel broke off so I finally retired it. It still works but it looks rough.
The biggest gripe about this watch are the side push buttons. I had to order a bunch of them to get one that worked properly. Everyone of them had at least one stuck button and that was usually the Mode button. They must be using an inferior spring inside, because all the originals I have that are like 30 years old work properly. Also, I prefer the original's LCD with DayGlo. Not really a fan of the reissue's green tinted LCD. There are other small differences between the original and the reissue. Regarding the chime, if you change the battery, make sure the side latches are seated properly otherwise it won't sound. Other than that, no issue whatsoever. You need to set the chime in the Alarm mode as folks here have already mentioned.
I definitely use the splits, that’s specifically why I paid the 100 for this. I can’t have Bluetooth at my new job, so this is my best bet daily wear for fitness.
Yeah does it have beep. Mine have. I get the same just for the nostalgia. But I think that for the price casio have better materials in a normal casio g-shock. They have sapphire glass and this timex have just plastic. After I get the timex I kinda regret for the price. And I saw people selling the timex on ebay eay more expensive, and I buy it for use it. But fack it. I get it and I use it. But at the beginning I have the same issue that doesn't have beep, and I ask in a video on UA-cam how it sounds and I think you just keep holding the button of the alarm and it's get the beep.
its not really that expensive, its more expensive than the original version but huckberry had to pay timex to remake this for them so the price reflects that plus huckberry needs to make a few dollars too
I like timex a lot, but honestly g-shock is way much better quality. My advice is just get this timex if you like the retrobgreen screen. And the indiglo, because it feels really cheap. So I recommend I tough solar g-shock, way much better quality.
As a former marthon runner, I wore a Timex Ironman for most of my adult life.
💯 - and triathlons.
The buttons only beep when you have the hourly chime on. If you go to alarm mode and hit Stop/Reset button it will toggle that on and off

They should remake the 90’s one. The OG.

I think you can turn on or off beeps in alarm mode or time set up.

Like the trucker jacket from huckberry, more than that watch.😁
Nice watch
Do you want to tell you how to switch the beep on ?
I still have it
Respected sir.....plz brief me wat is the process to buy same watch from you....plz replay sir
I like Casio and own several but would take Timex over Casio in many cases.

I’m glad it doesn’t say Huck a muck
Hey Rob are you shipping watch outside U. S. I mean like other country. I'm just asking cost I want to buy watch from you.
I don’t have a store to sell watches.
Why the heck is it so expensive? I feel like there is a time retro tax.
its not really that expensive, its more expensive than the original version but huckberry had to pay timex to remake this for them so the price reflects that plus huckberry needs to make a few dollars too
Where can i buy it
Link in description. Unless they sold out
How does it compare to a G Shock square quality wise?
I own both, this feels like something out of a cereal box, but is somehow more comfortable
The square shocks are much, much better from this.

The only thing timex has over Casio G-Shock is the indiglo back light.

well you have my attention, what and where did you say it? I legit looked for it and dont see it.
I threw my Huckberry with the velcro strap out of my truck window back in 2005 and never looked back. One of the worst watches I ever owned.
I can say the reviewer doesn't know much about this watch 😅
Thanks for watching
looks a bit " too much plastic" for me
for that price.
I want on of them but I'm worried it will be too big
Turn the beeps on??? At least know what your talking about before criticising 😂 Jesus
