I used to have that watch back in '03 and it was given to my old middle school friend. Fast forwarding up today, I purchased the reissue model and will be glad to own this timepiece again.
Name it after Jocko, cause he made it famous!!
Got mine today. Made in China assembled in Philippines. Cool to see these remade but a little pricey for what they are. 60.00 max they should be because I am sure timex will bring these back.
Since i'm in philippines where can i buy this watch i like it much...

Missed an opportunity to pull jocko in on this watch
I have an original I purchased in 2001. It has 100 lap memory not 30 as you stated. There’s also a little difference in the wording at the bottom of the screen. The original band dried up and broke so I put a 18mm nato strap on it I had lying around. It took a licking and keeps on ticking 😂!
Looks like a great durable, do it all watch!
My dad used to run these races and would get one for finishing, felt invincible when I got to wear it as a kid

Dude I had one when it came out and it wasn’t for 109 bucks. Lol and it was out waaay before Jocko Willink made it famous. But still a great watch hope it’s durable as the original

I just picked up a Timex Ironman Flix watch at a garage sale today. It looks identical to the Huckberry but looks older than three months. How can I tell if it's original or the Huckberry?
If you bought it at a garage sale, it's likely an old one. But, if you check the "lap" memory our version will go up to 100 Laps vs the 30 the original came with. Otherwise, it's the same iconic watch.

Does it have the same greenish reflection like the classic one? Because some of the recent timex re-issues have them but still slightly different….

this watch does not have chime and beep option? I just get mine and it does not have the option on the set mode.
Go to the Alarm function, press the stop/reset button, you will see a little music note, if the music note is visible the hourly chime is active.
