Thanks for reacting to this one; it's a classic. I was 12 yrs old when it was released in 1964. I had never seen this performance; it was awesome. It was so sad when he died in 1988. He had another big hit released just one month later: Roy Orbison - You Got It (Live 1988) ua-cam.com/video/lvR1YgT7QYs/v-deo.html
I've seen several reactions to this video, and most reactors recognise a few of the stars who are acting as the backing band - you didn't seem to realise it as you didn't say anything. That's the whole point of this particular situation, for us viewers to wait for the penny to drop when reactors recognise Bruce Springsteen at least, even if they don't know any others. I'm sure you enjoyed the song, but it's much better when you know who the other stars are, then people in the comments will tell you that even Elvis was a huge fan and admirer of Roy Orbison.......etc etc
Wow interesting, I absolutely have no idea who the others were I am this is my first time seeing Roy, I reacted to just one of Bruce’s songs I can’t say I would be able to recognise him anywhere, pardon my ignorance, with time I will get to know more of these artists. Coming from Africa we are not used to Western musics and artists but thanks to the reactions I am getting to know and enjoy them for the first time. Anyways thanks for watching and the comment. 🙏☺️
@@shockwavereact Guitarist in white jacket-James Burton. Burton played in Elvis' band, along with the drummer and pianist. Elvis Costello, Tom Waits are there too.
That band is an A list of musicians. It shows that Roy was held in such high esteem.
The purest voice ever !!!!
Once again you believe your tender years and appreciate the music of my generation - I’m 72 !!!
So much talent on that stage!
Absolutely 💯

RIP Roy you genius !!!!
Bono of U2 wrote a song SPECIFICALLY for Roy. She's a mystery to me. PLEASE listen to it.
The next song from Roy Orbison: Only the lonely.
Okay 👍🏽
This song was the time people knew how to write songs !!!!
