- Building and talking about my favorite @LEGO Castle of all time - ‘Black Knight’s Castle’ vintage set 6086!! (This Castle was also known as ‘Dungeon Master’s Castle’, when I first got it in 1992) This is definitely the most loved and favorite vintage Castle of all time!

If you’re looking for a used 6086 set: The main pieces to watch for are the big flag, the Knight bardings, and the Knight with the white dragon feathers - make sure those are there! Otherwise most of the other pieces are easy to find these days.
Just to add. Also check for very good condition of the base plate. Without cracks step downs and etc. Also in this video you forget to show and mention how many minifigs you get in this set? Should be 12 in total.
I agree that most and rarest are those 3 white feathers/plums and that big yellow flag which you can get only in this set. About horse bardings you are right they should be with both clips intact from both sides of bardings and not broken, but at least they was not only in this one set but two sets (Black Monarchs has also the same two horse bardings like this castle).
Also Black Knights Castle name is better than Dungeon Master Castle, because it really fit to this castle design and knights as well.
By the way great video. This castle and 6090 Royal Knights Castle is the best 2 castles that Lego ever made.
@@andrius11 Yes! There are a bunch of minifigs with this one. I agree 100% - the Royal Knights Castle was always set up in my room too as a kid - that one and 6086 were my favorites!!
Hey I have all of those, me and my grandfather built this years and years ago and I want to rebuild it but am missing a lot. I have all these important pieces though!
@@elipetrou9308 Oh nice!! Very cool uou have an original. I think the accessories are usually what’s missing. But those are easy to find on Bricklink! I think the toughest one is the Knight with the white feathers

I got that castle in january 1993, for the new year. Many years later I sold it ... And then nostalgia, memories ... I was looking for it, and with the help of my friend a few days ago I recovered a piece of memory from the past 🙂 I'm watching it now, standing on top of a stack of books, as the sun rises in the east ... Great channel, brings back so many good memories 🙂
Awesome! Yeah it’s surprising how it brings you back to a certain innocence & frame of mind. Same with me. A parent had all my (& my brother’s) sets stored in a couple bins at their house for years and years. Then, things happened and they had to up and leave a bunch of stuff behind. I didn’t care at the time (due to unnamed circumstances), but years later, I wished I had gone to recover most of it! At least the sets are still easy to find these days!

DO IT! Be mindful of the accessories though. Examine the pictures closely if you are looking at used ones. I wish I could own a ‘New’ Unopened one, but it would break the bank! 😳 😆Good luck on your search!

It’s worth it though! You can find a lot of replacement pieces as well, if you find one that’s not missing too many

I have a used version of this set. I’m thinking about selling. It has a broken drawbridge string and the main flag is missing. Other than that, it looks pretty good. I am in love with the set but I would definitely sell it for the right price.
Nice!! Take inventory of the pieces, and if all you need is a string, you can find that anywhere. And the flag you can order on Bricklink! That’s pretty good if that’s all you’re missing!
If you used a heat gun very carefully you might be able to get most of that bend out of the baseplate.

I found one used a year or so ago and it's missing a white wing on the knight's helmet... boy was I shocked when I saw the price for one of those in Bricklink! I think he'll just be the "one-winged" knight from now on!
ha ha lol... yeah.. it's intense, finding some of those lost accessories!
