Hi, can you tell me how do you ensure that you’re not taking off the top off your levels with your rule that you’ve done around the perimeter ? Or do you let them set for a while?
Thank you Elena Adigvom, I actually didn’t get the pleasure of mixing this screed up so I couldn’t tell you, however the amount of water greatly depends on how dry or wet the sand is👍
@@plasteringguru572Hey! I also pour a dry floor screed. I am from Tajikistan. We 4 people make 200m²-350m² per day. If you send a visa, I would go to work with you.
what is the straight bar you are using here please? can you post a link to something similar? also do you use expansion foam round the edges? great video, thanks.
genuinely, is it doable for a novice to do this do an adequate standard? I'm so tempted given the quotes I've gotten back to hire professionals. I've got a 5 x 5m garage I'm converting to an office and you made it look fairly straightforward! Not easy, but straightforward..... any pitfalls to avoid?
Yes I just screeded my kitchen, never done it before. Main tip is don't make the mix to wet or it will be a nightmare. Get a cement mixer also. Always can use a self leveling compound afterwards.

Back breaking work bud looks brilliant
great video. I am Left with so many questions though.
You did great job💯👍👏
Hey! Was wondering after you screed, how long do you need to wait for the cement and sand gets to be solid hard?
Is perimeter expansion insulation required for when the concrete expands?
