How to install floor screeding. Installing floor screeds to either SR1, SR2 or SR3 surface regularity requires a professional contractor to undertake the screed laying. The floor screed levels need to be ascertained from a pre-set datum which is often provided by the main contractor however screed levels can be ascertained for example from a door threshold and followed through the floor screed area using a laser level set to datum. Screed battens are formed using screed material that has been pre-fixed into position and to datum height. Floor Screeding bar/edges are placed between the two batten points and manoeuvred backwards. The floor screed material is then thoroughly compacted ensuring high density is achieved within the floor screed itself. All Interior Screed Ltd's floor screeds are then wood float finished to even out the floor screeding material and this is then followed by steel trowelling the floor screeding allowing the cement contained within the floor screed to rise to the surface of the floor screed closing of the floor screeding surface. Interior Screed only carry the best floor screeder's in the business. We take great pride on delivering the very best floor screeds time after time. Providing floor screeds Nationwide since 2010 we have two offices based in Manchester: 0161 457 1680 and Warwick (HQ): 01926 679 603

He's learning the trade well, at 27 years old I'd have that floor finished in about 3 hours , those days are over but boy they were fun (-:

Glad to see he is wearing a reflective vest. Most people would overlook this step and then the concrete won't cure properly.

I personally have done this method for many years and still do it, this is the mark of a true tile guy, if you can't do a large drypack job your not a top notch tile guy, this is further proof to all you guys on here pouring mud pans with way overly wet mud that it's wrong to do it that way, drypack is the only way. You should pay attention to this Mr Starr tile

Im guessing by your stupidity your a North American, this is a company from UK and this is all they do, they are not tilers!!!.
And for the record this is ancient practice most clients prefer to pay a little extra for liquid screed ( Not mud). You guys are so far behind in construction its frightening.
You build houses out of wood just to be blown away from a strong wind, bonkers
