- A short film featuring a fun look at various "retro" Las Vegas signage, from the famous "Welcome" sign to several of the lesser known signs. This project was meant to experiment with the video features on my DSLR. Shot on July 9 & 10, 2010 using my Nikon D5000 with a few different lenses.

I like the music...has a pop and beat to match the neon...good work...beautiful color. These signs mostly are endangered species as well.

Great video..one thing that is not the Silver Slippers sign. That is a ruby slipper art piece inspired by the original sign which does still exist but out in front of the neon museum .
AWESOME video (but how you didn't go into the "Fireside Lounge" inside the peppermill @ 3;28, you missed a great one for retro neon!)

Yeah, you got pretty much all of it that remains in the 21st century. SO sad that you didn't do it 25 years ago - the true Golden Age of Neon.
Sadly most of the neon in this Video is gone in 2020 :(

Why is the video square?
I'm wondering the same thing... It didn't used to be... And so it's something to do with UA-cam. I may need to submit a request for them to take a look...
It needs to be stretched. It looks way to squeezed
Jack Stephens Any chance of ever getting this fixed? It looks like it could be great at the proper aspect ratio.
@@JamesDavidWalley Fixed! I found out you need to add a tag to the tags that UA-cam sees and then stretches it back to the correct aspect ratio. I have no idea why it ever stretched it wrong to begin with; it looked correct for a few years and then all of a sudden got squished! Sorry about that!
Good to see the signs boss , but i cant say much for the music. sorry
