I disagree on some of this. Firstly, Jaime's heart already belonged to Cersei, so he'd likely refuse to bed Lysa, even if he was forced to marry her, leaving them childless. What's more, his obsession with his sister might be hesitant to join the rebels as she would now be a hostage. If the Lannisters joined the rebel alliance, it would be through Kevan strongarming his nephew with the help of Tygett and Gerion and Genna. Basically the rest of the pride ganging up on the young lion by convincing him that Cersei can't be helped by submitting to Aerys and using half the gold in Casterly Rock to find someone, anyone, capable of bribing enough people in Kings Landing to smuggle Cersei away. If Littlefinger could get Sansa Stark out after Joffrey's death, there is no reason that the nearly unlimited Lannister resources couldn't accomplish the same thing, especially with Pycelle on the inside. Once Cersei was free and back at Casterly Rock, then Jaime would unleash his rage and join the rebels. By the time the war was over, Cersei would have gotten rid of Lysa, arranging an accident or a sudden illness. This might prevent Hoster from joining the rebels, but with an eager Jaime taking his place, Hoster is superfluous. He'd eventually join to get Catelyn married, but Lysa would not be long for this world with her good sister living at Casterly Rock.
