If Jon doesn’t go to the wall, the 7 kingdoms would quite literally fall to the white walkers. He was the catalyst for them themselves all forming an alliance to fight against them. Granted I would say there might be a change because the night king would have no dread dragon to assist them taking down the wall but the cold winter coming; so that’s just delaying the inevitable.
A "What if" I've been thinking about since S2 is What if Rhaenyra had been caught in the Sept by guards? I imagine Alicent would alert them through maybe stabbing herself with Rhaenyra's dagger and framing her for it. The blacks wouldn't put Jace forward as the face of their party but she's in captivity so it's complicated. Rhaenys would probably take charge and it could lead Corlys to follow his ambition from S1 of Rhaenys's claim from the great council 92 AC/101 AC. Daemon would call Rhaenyra a fool for doing something like that and againtry to assert himself as King consort with everyone shutting him down. The greens wouldn't torture Rhaenyra (Alicent would definitely be against it and gain a bit of influence over her sons again), Aegon would still be uninjured (if Rook's Rest doesn't happen because Rhaenys stays on Dragonstone). I have no other ideas from here. Hope this "What if" is somewhat interesting.
A very interesting video can't wait to see what happens next. But when part 2 with Meakor Waters and what if Deamon kept his crown. Also what if Viserys and Daemon brother Aegon survived child birth and lived how would the story changed if there were 3 brothers instead of 2. And I've rewatched parts one and two of the Meagor series and I've reached a conclusion the greens are doomed, think about it, changes are that larys isn't even around because with Otto still being hand of the king, his father would still be master of laws, and with Rhaenyra not sleeping with Cole he can't use that information to get in with Alicent so his power base wouldn't exist, and maybe results with his father and brother still being alive, and with Harwin alive there maybe more support form the city watch, and with Lenaor and Meagor having been to war together for three years maybe they have some kind of friendship so all they have to do is have one of Rhaenyra and Meagor younger sons marry Laenor daughter and they would not just have to more dragond but also the west because we all know the lions don't side with the losers and if the deal between Meagor and Lenaor works out witch side will they take, the side with for dragons or the side with nine or maybe ten if Rhaena like in the show claims sleepstealer.
Top of mind as I’m doing a GOT rewatch: in the show Lysa admits she helped Petyr lie to help instigate the Stark/Lannister conflict by k*lling Jon Arryn; so what if Jon kept investigating King Robert’s bastard children but went unnoticed (by Cersei)? Would she have been executed or banished? What else would happen!!?!
I know I’ll be repeating many of the points in this video. Not much will change up to the war of the 5 kings. Except Jon will be there, and Jon will be VERY important and prevalent. Robb and Jon both prove to be borderline prodigies as leaders. And Robb would see jon was his most trusted ally and asset BY FAR. Also l, Grey Wind was practically a cheat code for Robb. Having Jon and Ghost as well???? They’d be doubly as op. Jon would also be the perfect advisor for Robb. He’d counter Catelyns bad advice, and reinforce her good advice. I fully believe Jon would allow Robb to avoid the red wedding, and be more successful on the battlefield. So they’d just keep steamrolling the Lannisters until they have to face Stannis.
What if robb stark ecsaped the red wedding. What if Vale and Ironborn join Robb stark. What if joffrey survied. What if greens won the war. What if robb joind Stannis. What if Stannis won battle of ice. What if Stannis capured kingslanding
@15:15 I don't think Rob would even need to tell him the full plan, I think he would have told him the same, as his uncle, he would have just did it, and probably would have figured out it on his own. The Uncle was just lame.
I hope this eventually gets a part 2 because theres a lot of potential here. With Robb still alive, does Littlefinger still bring Sansa to the Vale? If he returns Sansa to the North does the Vale now declare for Robb, effectively spliting the 7 realms down the middle with Dorne as the wildcards? With the wildlings conquering the wall, is Robb forced to suspend his war campaign to return to the North, particular if he gets word that Sansa was also returned? With the Boltons forced to remain loyal, i imagine rather than Theon being tortured into becoming Reek, hes turned over to Robb who beheads him. Same thing with Jaime. They recaptured Jaime but turned him over because of Roose's deal with Tywin. If that doesn't happen, Jaime gets turned over to Robb as well, missing a hand most likely. Though knowing Roose I could see him trying to stoke the flames by sending Tywin Jaime's hand as a message. And then there's the Mannis. Unlike in canon, he wouldn't really be able to retreat to the North to try and win them over to his cause. If he tries to regroup in the Stormlands I'd imagine Tywin would capitalize and target them first.
Though it also begs the question, if the North is in tact, the Mountain is dead, and Jaime presumably never makes it back to Crownlands, do the Tyrell's still do the marriage pact with Tywin?
Couple things. If Tywin never died then I don’t think selmy would have never been dismissed from the king’s guard. I also never understood in the show why ned never told kat the truth because he trusted her completely
It depends if he would have gone to Kings Landing with Ned or stayed at Winterfell. Obviously Catelyn wouldn't have wanted him there but would he even have been allowed to travel to the capital or would it have been considered an insult to bring a bastard to court? If he stays in Winterfell, he leaves with Robb and the North to march on the South. I imagine everything plays out the same except when Theon takes Winterfell, Jon is sent back North to rally men and try to rid the North of the Ironborn putting him and Ramsay at odds much earlier with the victor being up for debate depending on army size and situation. If he goes to Kings Landing he would probably be killed by Jaime during Neds fight, assassinated by someone, slain after Roberts death in the throne room or in an effort to defend Arya and Sansa when the Lannisters slaughter their guards etc. either way Jon isn't surviving as he wouldn't even be considered important enough to be kept as a hostage.
What if Rhaenyra or Allicent died while giving birth to their respective firstborns? What if the Hound wasnt able to stop Sansa from killing herself and Joffrey? What if Aegon II managed to escape on the day of his coronation? What if B&C managed to kill Aemmond or killed Jahaera instead?
1. Depends. If the children survive, It'll pass through Aegon most likely. If not, I don't see Viserys remarrying, so Daemon becomes heir much to Otto's outrage. 2. Catelyn will have no reason to release Jaime, the Red Wedding doesn't happen. The Starks drive the Ironborn from the North but are forced to retreat from the Riverlands, fighting a long protracted guerrilla war. Tywin might not die since Tyrion wouldn't be framed for Joffrey's murder but if you subscribe to the theory that Oberyn poisoned Tywin then maybe he would. Either way, FAegon would probably join up with Dany this time because either way Tyrion wouldn't go east, and when they invade the North will probably ally with the Targaryens. 3. Little Jaehaerys becomes king, but really Aemond and Otto(who won't be fired this time around) would be in charge. Blood and Cheese probably won't happen because the Kingsguard would be guarding the king. Much of the Dance would go roughly the same, Rhaenys still dies at Rook's Rest, Daeron still wins victories in the Reach, Aemond still torches the Riverlands, Rhaenyra still takes KL but later gets driven out by popular revolt. However, Rhaenyra probably won't die by fire, but I'm pretty sure her days were numbered either way. Even after her death the Dance will likely drag on much longer between supporters of Jaehaerys II and Aegon III(a sham really, since both kings are literally children), and I see the Greens actually come out on top eventually, because the Vale and the Iron Islands will fall into civil war after the deaths of Jeyne Arryn and Dalton Greyjoy, the Riverlanders would be exhausted and stretched to their limit, probably willing to surrender for lenient terms. The Starks couldn't win the war on their own, and Winter is Coming. Viserys will probably live in exile in Essos, and the Targaryen bloodline is thinned out even more. 4. They couldn't kill Aemond in the books and wouldn't kill Jaehaera in either medium.
What if Stannis was able to get Renly to support him? I assume that to get Tyrells what they want so proximity to the Crown daughter of Stannis could be betrothed to Loras Tyrell.
If Renly supported Stannis, then the Tyrells would stop supporting Renly, and leave with their army. Renly of course would still have more Bannermen since Randall Tarly wouldn't have killed the thousands that would have joined Stannis.
@@SpongeWatchesThe Tyrells didn't want to wait for Stannis to die, before Margery could be queen, they wanted the throne NOW. Renly was nothing but a puppet they were going to use.
Very good move to have Jon save Catelyn, otherwise, It's very likely that she would make sure he had an "accident” And I can't believe I'm going to defend Catelyn, but Ned disrespected her by bringing Jon to Winterfell Suggestion What if Sansa escapes KL with the Hound after the battle of the Blackwater
So..when you get to Tyrion my next question is this. Does Tyrion still marry Sansa in this timeline? Because if he does, after the trial of combat, he might just take her back to winterfell to escape his family. And since Jon, and not the Boltons hold Winterfell, it could be a safe refuge for Tyrion who seemed to like Jon anyway.
What if Jon Snow was born in House Of The Dragon!? Being a Bastard Child of Lyanna Stark and a Targaryen probably be either Daemon Targaryen. Which would've been a huge plotwist or good what if! And i think Jon would've gained a Dragon. But i think the Dragon whom it hatches is Albino looking similar to Ghost! But he would still be a bastard in the story since Daemon was already married to Rhea Royce and he literally insulted another Lord's Daughter who's literally from House Stark! But the only issue is that Daemon would either look after the child. But would've been disappointed that Jon won't have any Targaryen Features. I hope you can get this idea for a What If! ❤❤❤
Thing is, the nights watch would be royally screwed if Jon never joined. ghost would never have alerted him to the whites so lord commander Mormont would probably have been killed.
Id argue theon wouldnt have been sent Back to the Iron Islands, AS Not only catelyn would argue against this, but also jon AS he never really trusted theon the way robb die.
Would catelyn not want Jon sent to take the dagger to Ned? Get him out of winterfell, hammer home the sin of bastardry, avoid capturing Tyrion who doesn't meet bronn, ned's men don't get butchered in retaliation. Would that change anything?
Ooooh so what if Jon fought the monutain in the riverlands and died and instead Thoros resurrects him instead of Lady Stone heart (but he wasn't dead aslong etc)
1. What if Rhaenyra married a stark? 2. What if the Cannibal was Rhaenyra’s dragon? 3. What if instead of Alicent, Viserys annulled daemons marriage and married Rhea Royce himself? 4. What if Stannis married a Tyrell? 5. What if Arya fostered at Casterly Rock or became squire to Tywin? (I know that it may seem unlikely Ned would allow this but it would be interesting)
In the way to winterfell in Moat Callin Rose and Ramsay whith the Greyjoy s Army Bolton atacks Jon and Arya Choose the fate. Although in less probale. Stannis go to the wall and defeat to wilders.
He also have to remember Jamie's still a arrogant asshole. He never got his hand chopped up because he never got ransom back to his family He's still in prison So if he does get back it's through a trade and he most likely never gets harmed and keeps his hand. So he's still an arrogant prick he doesn't actually get a redemption
the only thing ive wanted from them is to make the goddamn Snow series.. since the show ended.. now ive gotten 2 seasons of a meh prequel.. and will get another spin off.. and will likely never see the only character i truly liked rejoin. what a fukin waste
Jon making Robb more honorable doesn't work. Robb had sex with Talisa because they were alone and he was sad, then he married her because it's an honorable thing to do.
But if Jon is the one that meets and falls in love with Talisa then Robb doesn’t go to Talisa to have sex because he is sad so Jon might be the one that does that instead, causing for Jon to marry Talisa while Robb just wastes the night away with booze. Now, it would be more interesting if say Robb tried to do that regardless, but I think because Talisa might love Jon rather than Robb so Talisa would refuse his advances and send him away and Robb isn’t the kind of angry drunk or person to force himself onto another, but Talisa could speak of this to Jon in the morning or right after Robb comes for her and the reaction that Jon might have would be more interesting. Would he feel betrayed by this and start to drift apart from Robb? Will Robb feel guilty about his actions? Will Catelyn feel horrible about this whole situation, both disappointed with Robb for acting like she believed Ned might have done with Jon’s mother, because they all still think Jon is a bastard son of Ned, and feel a horrible bit of shameful irony that a trueborn son tried to take the love of a bastard one?
Woah, what if jon being a leader with rob but him and his girl are outside of red wedding bc bastard status..taleesa got preggers with Jon's baby and she unalives in childbirth... all leading up to when Jon meets danerys he loves her but doesn't want to be with her romantically bc he doesn't want her to unalive during birth either
I can't wait to see more of this. I wonder since the Northern-Riverland armies are still fighting if by chance Talisa's family/faction getting involved. From the books more her family the Maegyr were part of the Tigers who support putting more effort in Volantis's military. Perhaps now with them living longer they hire the 2 northern origin sellsword companies to help fight in Westeros, with the idea after the war they have recruitment areas in the North. Just a thought. For What If.... What if Myrcella survived being poisoned? What if the Tyrells/Reach don't join Tywin after Renly's death bit decide to seek their own independence? What if Viserys decided to not remarry anyone?

Another reason why Tyrion goes to Dorne might be that he checks on Myrcella. At least that's what he can tell his family.
The hound it's definitely getting send to the wall
I think at the end u didn't highlight how tywin would live because tyrion wouldn't kill him if he still had to be in westeros and would win the trial
If the whole red wedding part doesn’t happen, Bolton ended up recapturing Jaime so it would make sense for him to turn him back over to Robb
The hound becomes Arya's sworn shield ,sworn in service to house stark
Wow, nice alternate story! This calls for another show 😅 Or a fan-fiction storyline, at least. Love all of the extended consequences.
Both Jon and Catelyn would be in agreement against sending Theon back.
This shit was fucking fire
What if Stannis was able to get Renly to support him? I assume that to get Tyrells what they want so proximity to the Crown daughter of Stannis could be betrothed to Loras Tyrell.
Renly could still marry margery in that timeline and the throne would likely still pass to them and their children.
If Renly supported Stannis, then the Tyrells would stop supporting Renly, and leave with their army.
Renly of course would still have more Bannermen since Randall Tarly wouldn't have killed the thousands that would have joined Stannis.
@@molasorrosalom4846 nope. Loras was in love w Renly and they wanted to marry Margery to Robert so I’m sure the would still be cool w siding w stannis
@@SpongeWatchesThe Tyrells didn't want to wait for Stannis to die, before Margery could be queen, they wanted the throne NOW.
Renly was nothing but a puppet they were going to use.
@@molasorrosalom4846 again Loras tyrell loved Renly and isn’t going to fight alongside anyone else as long as Renly lives
Very good move to have Jon save Catelyn, otherwise, It's very likely that she would make sure he had an "accident”
And I can't believe I'm going to defend Catelyn, but Ned disrespected her by bringing Jon to Winterfell
Suggestion What if Sansa escapes KL with the Hound after the battle of the Blackwater
Same question here
Thanks For this! Love your content! Suggestion: Rhaegar married Lyanna instead of Elia
What if Jaime leaves the kingsguard after kill Aerys?
Being forgive by Bob B. as a favor for Tywin, and becaming his heir.
Robert should have given Tywin back his heir, and married a Hightower instead of Cersai.
That horrible Catelyn would have probably tried to have her killed.
Thing is, the nights watch would be royally screwed if Jon never joined. ghost would never have alerted him to the whites so lord commander Mormont would probably have been killed.
The hound cood be the new master at arms.
He wouldn't be died with Robb at the wedding. Good talk
Id argue theon wouldnt have been sent Back to the Iron Islands, AS Not only catelyn would argue against this, but also jon AS he never really trusted theon the way robb die.
If Jon isn’t in the nights watch, Mormont dies to the white. And they never go beyond the wall due to reorganization
I wonder who Bronn (or Oberyn) is gonna fight now that Gregor Clagane is Dead
Would catelyn not want Jon sent to take the dagger to Ned? Get him out of winterfell, hammer home the sin of bastardry, avoid capturing Tyrion who doesn't meet bronn, ned's men don't get butchered in retaliation. Would that change anything?
Question? So does Tywin go save kingslanding during blackwater. Because I don’t know because Robb is still alive.
Very happy that you qualified RLJ as being Show Only…
Ooooh so what if Jon fought the monutain in the riverlands and died and instead Thoros resurrects him instead of Lady Stone heart (but he wasn't dead aslong etc)
Does anyone else hear Him saying gee-war mormont? It's jeor: gee-or
Part 2. Please
Part 2 please? 🥺
Anyone else crave a part 2?
In the way to winterfell in Moat Callin Rose and Ramsay whith the Greyjoy s Army Bolton atacks Jon and Arya Choose the fate. Although in less probale.
Stannis go to the wall and defeat to wilders.
So you’re saying he’s not a stark? He is tho
What if Robb went to King's Landing instead of Catelyn?
what if Rhaenyra claimed Vermithor instead of syrax
Has anyone made a video of what if Magor married his niece Rane
He also have to remember Jamie's still a arrogant asshole. He never got his hand chopped up because he never got ransom back to his family He's still in prison So if he does get back it's through a trade and he most likely never gets harmed and keeps his hand. So he's still an arrogant prick he doesn't actually get a redemption
Twyn probably just die of oberyn posion like as been speculated
What if robb stark ecsaped the red wedding. What if Vale and Ironborn join Robb stark. What if joffrey survied. What if greens won the war
What if Ned told Cat about Jon ?!
When? Right away? Then people would be suspicious that she isn't so cold towards him, which would lead to questions being asked.
What if daemon and caraxes lived what if the storming of the Dragon out failed
What if aerys or rhaegar had a dragon?
What if Robb married princess Myrcella?👑
I think Ygritte dies either way. Ygrittes group was ambushed by the Halfhand would would’ve have killed her
Is he really the most important character after how the show ended? Sure didnt seem like it
What if Sansa left with the hound during the battle of blackwater?
the only thing ive wanted from them is to make the goddamn Snow series.. since the show ended.. now ive gotten 2 seasons of a meh prequel.. and will get another spin off.. and will likely never see the only character i truly liked rejoin. what a fukin waste
Woudlnt robb stark defend the night watch
He would have died along with Ned or at the same time with Robb
He explained that the Red Weddings doesn’t happened in this timeline, next time, actually watch the video before commenting.
@@matheusdemello2323I never said anything about the Red wedding idiot, Robb would have died one way or the other and it didn't have to be by the red wedding. So no I don't need to watch the video smart ass.
I would just assume he would join Robb in the war of the five kings and die at the red wedding
Yeah, the point of this entire video kind of pointed out that this change would likely mean there IS NO red wedding.
@Matthew_Baratheon It's a big what if. If Robb still meets Talisa when Jon isn't around, the red wedding will still happen. Even if Robb offers Jon and Edmure to marry one the the Frey girls
@@Dantheman-bw8hv There are a lot or reasons why that also may not be the case. It was just love that drew him to Talisa but also his loss of Bran and Tommen. With Jon by his side they might have comforted each other, which could lead Rob to still keep his promise. This is especially true for the book version vs. the Tv, but I still think even the TV version would be radically different if Jon was there as Rob's best ally.
@@Dantheman-bw8hv Hell, he didn't even bring up the fact that with Jon they also have Ghost. That's two direwolves to go to battle with them. Robb was very successful in the early part of the war alone, I can only imagine how much stronger and possibly even more unpredictable with a second dire wolf, and a brother he trusts who may be nearly as competent as he is.
@@Matthew_Baratheon I guess it could go either way
The night king wins
Call me crazy, but is there potential for a Starl-Dorne alliance, with the Martells following more closely to their book counterparts wanting to make a Queen out of Myrcella?
Would Jon’s code of honor (just like Ned’s) not compel him to execute the hound for desertion, just like Ned did the nights watchman
what if ammend got a dragon when he was a kid
what if king vesseris never remarried
what if edmir tully didn’t ruin robb plan
what if ned and rennly captured the lannisters
what if stanis won battle of black water
Sorry if there is a spelling mistake
