What a great video as I have been studying both of those products a lot lately. I am really surprised by how much the ph drops when using a foam cannon. Thank you for this awesome video.
MY MAN BROKE OUT THE TEST STRIPS!!!! At a baby Brian!!! What's more economical between Auto-Foam and Lift? I've seen some people putting as much as 13oz of Auto-Foam in their foam cannon???
Hi Brian! Can I ask how many ounces Carpro Lift and BH AutoFoam you've placed on the foam cannons for the strip tests at 9:30 ? Most foam cannons filled with 1000ml paired with different pressure washers give an output of roughly 10liters on average. If you've also placed 90ml (3 ounces) of Carpro LIft and BH AutoFoam on the foam cannon tests mixed with 900ml of water (starting at 9:30), that would be roughly 9000ml of output with 90ml (3 ounces) of product mixed in. That would be on the 1%PIR range. The normal bucket strip test (starting at 7:00) was also 9000ml of water mixed with 90ml of product. That would also be in the 1%PIR range. But I'm curious as to why the foam cannon tests had a much lower pH compared to the normal bucket strip tests when they both are roughly in the 1%PIR dilution. Thanks so much Brian!
Awesome video Brian... great information. Really takes it down in ph by using in foam cannon. Wonder if you add an extra ounce if the will bring the pH back. 🤔. Either way 2 great products I wish to try! Take care my friend!
Interesting. For extremely dirty rides ,I use Purple Power Boat and Vehicle wash mixed with one ounce of DPC Revive in a Griots cannon . Most cars we see are dirty. Depending on the budget,we use a protectant in line with the cost. Currently looking at Apex Rehydrate Sheet. We also use Griots spray on Wax. Cost per vehicle is important in the Latino market here. Budgets are low, expectations are high.Interiors are higher on the list. Cheers Brian.

Fantastic video as always. As a long time Autofoam user is was nice to see that get a comparison in a state-side video. Regarding waterspots, you could try Koch Chemie FSE, it's designed for that job and pretty effective. You mention your hard water where you're located, do you have a reading from a TPS meter? My area in the UK is about 350ppm for comparison.
Thanks again for your time, effort and support brian, I know a lot of people keep saying this but it's true it's so nice to hear and see what you think and how to apply products properly, thanks again 👍👍👍👍
Will you be doing a review on Glassparency graphene spray coating? The water behavior with this stuff is insane, it will be my new go-to for everything not getting Kenzo.
Brian, isn’t BH’s dilution closer to 1:1 since they recommend a PIR percentage? Would that change the strip test since it would be a higher concentration of chemical?
I just learned that The Clean Garage, which was the only US based importer of Bilt Hamber, will no longer be carrying it. It was like an arrow through my heart, especially because I could go and pick it up locally. I have no idea why. They mentioned something about how it's annoying to deal with the import process. I could be wrong, but it seems like you’re using the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam at a much lower PIR than what Bilt Hamber recommends (4-5% PIR), if you really want it to clean well. For a 2.0 GPM pressure washer you should be adding around 300 ml of Auto Foam to your foam cannon, which is about 10 oz. That’s to achieve a PIR of 4%, if you wanted 5%, it’d require even more product. (This is assuming you’re actually achieving 2 GPM out of the pressure washer with the foam cannon attached. Their instructions for actually testing your output are very useful, and will give you exact, tailored to you, dilution ratios). Yes you could use less, for less dirty vehicles. But especially in the case of comparison to another product, where you do use their proper dilution ratios, I think it’s unfair to handicap the Auto Foam by adding less than what’s recommended.
Need some suggestion. I am confused about which approach to follow. 1. Using Carpro Iron X followed by Carpro Spotless followed by a thorough wash with Gyeon Bathe OR 2. Just use Carpro Lift followed by a wash with Gyeon Bathe. I want to apply a wax/ sealant after this and want to ensure that the surface is clean and decontaminated before the application. Appreciate your response.

Can you use lift on ppf?
Is this safe for PPF?
Is there a time or place for acidic prewashes? Most of these prewashes seem to be alkaline. Just wondering if there is a place for an opposite on the ph scale.
Some citrus cleaners would be as far as I would go in that direction.
I believe if you want to help remove minerals such as those from hard water or salt from winters, acidic prewashes are helpful. Carpro Descale is a good one.
Great review as usual.
