Its so refreshing that Brian and other detailers, don't sell out to the devil for money and we only get his honest view, whether its good or bad.
Its now come out that Pan the organizer, charges anywhere from $13000 to $20000 Canadian dollars for him to review companies products and you guessed it, he never says a bad word on his reviews and now we know why.
    Thanks for being honest Brian.

A real pro detailer, not a chemical engineer unlike that guy in Canada, whose hobby is detailing and selling and going on UA-cam to act as an "Influencer", the Kim Kardashian of the detailing world. No "man that's nuts", "that's insane", "I use it all the time", "all these 12 products from the same company are fantastic", none of that bollocks, as we would say in the UK. Hi Brian! Can I ask how many ounces Carpro Lift and BH AutoFoam you've placed on the foam cannons for the strip tests at 9:30 ?
Most foam cannons filled with 1000ml paired with different pressure washers give an output of roughly 10liters on average. If you've also placed 90ml (3 ounces) of Carpro LIft and BH AutoFoam on the foam cannon tests mixed with 900ml of water (starting at 9:30), that would be roughly 9000ml of output with 90ml (3 ounces) of product mixed in. That would be on the 1%PIR range.
The normal bucket strip test (starting at 7:00) was also 9000ml of water mixed with 90ml of product. That would also be in the 1%PIR range.
But I'm curious as to why the foam cannon tests had a much lower pH compared to the normal bucket strip tests when they both are roughly in the 1%PIR dilution.
    Thanks so much Brian!

Interesting. For extremely dirty rides ,I use Purple Power Boat and Vehicle wash mixed with one ounce of DPC Revive in a Griots cannon .
Most cars we see are dirty. Depending on the budget,we use a protectant in line with the cost.
Currently looking at Apex Rehydrate Sheet. We also use Griots spray on Wax.
Cost per vehicle is important in the Latino market here. Budgets are low, expectations are high.Interiors are higher on the list.

I just learned that The Clean Garage, which was the only US based importer of Bilt Hamber, will no longer be carrying it. It was like an arrow through my heart, especially because I could go and pick it up locally. I have no idea why. They mentioned something about how it's annoying to deal with the import process. Though I don't see how it's any different with any of the other overseas products they carry. Thank god I'm loaded up on Bilt Hamber products to at least last me a year or more...though what I'm going to do after that I don't know. I guess I'll have to pay the high shipping charges to get it directly from the UK...there's no way I'm not going to have access to my favorites: Auto-Foam, Touch-Less, Auto Wash Shampoo, Surfex HD, Atom Mac, Cleanser Fluid, and Korrosol.

I could be wrong, but it seems like you’re using the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam at a much lower PIR than what Bilt Hamber recommends (4-5% PIR), if you really want it to clean well.
For a 2.0 GPM pressure washer you should be adding around 300 ml of Auto Foam to your foam cannon, which is about 10 oz. That’s to achieve a PIR of 4%, if you wanted 5%, it’d require even more product. (This is assuming you’re actually achieving 2 GPM out of the pressure washer with the foam cannon attached. Their instructions for actually testing your output are very useful, and will give you exact, tailored to you, dilution ratios).
Yes you could use less, for less dirty vehicles. But especially in the case of comparison to another product, where you do use their proper dilution ratios, I think it’s unfair to handicap the Auto Foam by adding less than what’s recommended.

Brian is it possible to get the thick foam like you got in this video with a foam gun and a regular water hose? Or do you need the pressure washer to generate that thick foam?

      @apexdetail85  3 роки тому +1

You would need something with higher pressure. 1800 or higher is best.

How does it compare to Adam’s Ultra Foam? The Clean Garage is awesome. I’ve ordered several items from them.
Could that foam be ANY thicker? W O W !!!!
5 mitts... THAT is an idea. A great one. 😎

Not sure about Adams but Griots garage surface prep wash is similar.

    Isn’t runny foam better?
I think you said in a video it below with displacing and removing surface contaminants better?

It’s subjective but I like a wetter foam versus light and fluffy.

I see the video about Man the Advertiser has rippled quite some much. Anyways, love the Lift , my go to shampoo now for my foam cannon

I can't seem to find TAC Systems Paintwork Cleanser anywhere. What else would you recommend for removing very stubborn road film to prep for a new sealant?

Any ideea if Lift is safe to use on cars with CarPro CQuartz coatings?

Do you know if Carpro is changing Reset? I had to get a different shampoo because nobody has Reset. It's only available in the 50ml size from a very few obscure, expensive sites.

I have not heard anything. Try this...clean-garage.com/carpro-reset-intensive-car-shampoo-1-liter-formulated-for-coatings/

@@apexdetail85 Thanks. I got BH AutoWash from them last week because they didn't have Reset either. Good to know they have at least the liter size. Nobody had it for a while.

Is there a time or place for acidic prewashes? Most of these prewashes seem to be alkaline. Just wondering if there is a place for an opposite on the ph scale.

I believe if you want to help remove minerals such as those from hard water or salt from winters, acidic prewashes are helpful. Carpro Descale is a good one.
