  • Today, we put Xtreme Solutions LVR 500 Flawless Cut through the Apex Detail Review Process! VR 500 Flawless Cut was designed to work flawlessly with the new age of Dual Action Polishers, Rotaries and Buffers. LVR 500 Flawless cuts was designed to be very user friendly and work with the pad you are using. For a heavier cut, use a firm foam pad or a wool cutting pad. For a medium or lighter cut, use a Uro-Fiber Pad or a Green Better Edge Light Cutting Pad. This incredible formula cuts lightning fast and stays incredibly wet longer so you can really work the paint. LVR 500 Flawless Cut has zero dusting for a quick clean-up saving both time and money!
    Xtreme Solutions LVR 500....877askxtreme.c...
    Buffer Use: Use Uro-Fiber All-In-One Microfiber Pad for moderate imperfections and a light cutting foam pad or polishing pad for light imperfections. Apply evenly to a cool clean 2 ft. by 2 ft. area. Begin buffing slowly using light to moderate pressure. Decrease pressure as imperfections disappear.
    Hand Use: Apply a small amount to area using a soft terry , rub effected area until desired results are achieved.

    That really is incredibly impressive.. with just a standard foam cutting pad and two passes it can get that much done and still finish in the mid 90s..
    How does this compare to 3D One in your opinion? Do you prefer one over the other?
    Thanks, Brian! 👍👌✌

      I just came in from the garage testing LVR500 vs 3D One on my black 2018 BMX X2 using the recommended Buff n Shine Urofiber pad. I'm putting a video together to go into my results in detail. I'll post here when it's ready. They seem to be very similar products but I believe there is a clear winner on my BMW. Stay tuned!

      FatStogie 3D one is a staple, I've been using LVR 500 for about a week now and have 3D one. Honestly I like them both which is better hard to say but if a person enjoys one they'll enjoy the other. Probably 3D one has some more cut but the finish with the 500 is really good.

    Like your shows, great content. I'm a subscriber and buy many of the products. Thanks for all your good information. Question, my black car was Cquartz ceramic coated about 18 months ago (and still in good finish, kept under cover inside 90% of the time). But I need to do some areas of correction, some scratches and want to top it off. Can I use some of the LVR500 on the problem areas, or should I go over the whole car and then level out the remaining ceramic coat? And maybe then put the metal oxide coating on you recent showcased? Thanks

    Henry Freeman took my advice here haha, im keeping track of the products aswell in my own sheet which is a bit way more extensive which i will be sharing in the future. ;) But this is what i suggested right on :) I love it!!!!!
    So LVR 500 a better finish and 3D one more cut i read :) ,that would be my question aswell. Let me ask what is the best All in One compound/polish in your opinion? one of these or another all together, or do you prefer job specific compounds or polishes?

    Do you happen to have experience with Volkswagen paint? Do you consider it to be "hard" or "soft"? I'm not a detailer, just a weekend warrior who's trying to get as close to perfect as I can before I put a ceramic coating on my Golf R. Just as my GTI before it, I find that even surface scratches are extremely hard to remove, and using Meg's professional compound (the pink stuff), it left quite a few behind. Should I be using something stronger than a microfiber cutting pad? Less abrasive?

    hey Brian - excellent channel here, really enjoy your fundamentals approach to testing product - very military! A request: any chance you could include buffer speed details on your videos, include them in the remarks, something like "the maxshine "4" speed rating for this task, which is equivalent to 000K RPM"...? I like your comments about speed and pressure when using the buffers, especially how fast one goes through the panel - having more detail on what the best speed for buffing would be great.
    tx, keep up the great work!

    I have a one year old Honda Civic daily driver. It has no real scratches, just some micro scratches from everyday use. Could you recommend a finish polish to bring out the gloss without eating into my clearcoat significantly? I just use a Harbor Freight DA polisher with a 5 inch backing plate and a wide assortment of Lake Country foam pads.

    I am no pro, so $30 per pint seems steep to me. When you have less expensive compounds like Meg's Microfiber Cutting Compound, 3D One, and even Nanoskin Speed Cut that seem to perform as well (at least in the wet sanding tests), I am not sure I can justify it, as much as I would like to try it. I mean, for me, if I need a more aggressive compound, I would just pony up the money for Menzerna M400. Brian, do you feel the LVR 500 is a better performer than 3D One?

    This or lvr 403 for minor imperfections and swirls?

    • @razetw
      @razetw 4 роки тому +2

      I believe 403 is a glaze leaving fillers behind.
      This 500 doesn't have fillers or protection. Just cut and or finish pad dependent. Just like 3d one.
      3d speed leaves protection but gives up a tad on cut and finish vs 3d one.
      Hard to judge besides price which is better. If you conclude that 3d one cuts slightly better... You can always do a half pass more with lvr 500... Or vice versa.. Switch to a more aggressive pad.. Etc...
      LVR 500 in a pint 16oz is only 5 bucks more than 3done. Bundles and coupons through the year probably makes that gap even closer.
      I think they both look like winners.

    • @tundrawhisperer4821
      @tundrawhisperer4821 4 роки тому

      LeoC 403 needs cure time before adding a sealant, so if you wanted to wrap things up that same day on a detail, 3D one or LVR500 would be a better route for time sake.

      Brian has 3 videos on this. How to test if you have hard, medium and soft paint in 3 sep videos. Dig through his videos. Very informative. Also suggest to watch his "how important is pad choice video "... Might be called something else like it but you get the idea.
