I'm happy about this video,I actually own a collection with this specific kind of errors, I put some out for sale and people lacking knowledge about this error were thinking they are just damaged, because of that ignorance they kept on saying my coins were parking lot trash and pretty much think I have no understanding of minting process, when in fact they don't know about this minting process error.i hope they see your video and do a little research and educate themselves.nice video and topic thank you.
I can remember seeing double struck coins in the past, thinking"why would somebody squeeze that coin with pliers or a vice?" Now I know what I was seeing was a double strike of the Memorial columns or Montecello, etc. Dammit Shaun...... you just threw SOMETHING ELSE in the mix to slow down coin roll hunting.. 😂😂 Keep it coming!
Hey Tim I LOVE the ... Something Else ... IKR?! lmfao 🤣 been slowing WAAAAAY down myself on Coin Roll Hunting (as I'm looking at 2 boxes atm each with 2/3rds STILL IN THERE) since the 2018D Lincoln Shield Double Ear Discovery then (I love this video!) The Most Significant U.S. Coin Varieties from 2009-2019 Daaaaaaaang🤦♀️ Luckily I had actually started setting aside (while going back thru the mounds of coins looking for all of the above plus more) the coins with prints not fingerprints lol but prints of dates or whatever that was "not suppose to be there" lol NOW I need Shaun to tell me rather US the Loyal Entourage💱 how to slam Ebay with all of these coins 😂 lmao (I've kept a few for my own collection) CAN'T SELL ALL OF THEM no fun in collecting if I do that... just wanted you to know that was a way cool comment you left 😎 Happy Hunting 😊 Lauren⚘
Hey @BlueRidgeSilverhound you didn't show a picture of the Proof coin at the end my friend 🤣 I know you must be tired from putting up great videos. Thanks for your hardwork.✌🏾👍🏾
This is my first comment to you blue ridge. First and foremost thanks for all the great videos and information you present the community. As a child in the 70’s me with my grandparent would go through mint bags primarily for older coins. But I’m intrigued with today’s new crh and believe I may have to get back into it. I still have many older coins that have just sit for years. You and several other crh channels have really made me think. I value the chase of finding a treasure all of the varieties one could find. As it was from my youth alas then you could still find 1800’s coins in bags fairly easy. Now it’s varieties and errors so thank all of you who promote and educate and happy hunting my good sir.
When a double strike happens to the coin you are viewing, what would have happened behind it or to the next blank in line? Would there not have been another planchet already in place to get struck or does the next coin not get fed because this double struck one has not left the shoot yet? I've seen a video of coins being made and they are FLYING through the press at a very high speed. Its baffling thinking of one coin sticking in place and where was the next one in line ??
Finally i. Understand and im not crazy. I have a couple quarters and pennies and thought they may be.something .Everyone i showed said there just damaged n im nuts. THANK YOU. THANK YOU Sherry in Seattac Wa
Hey Blue ridge, Shaun, Have you heard about any new varieties with the new 2019-P- American Memorial Park. I believe I found a Double Die variety on mine. I'm trying to get a good enough picture so I can show you. I have only 2 American Memorial Park Quarters and both are Doubled Dies. I also have a 2019-P Lowell and its doubled as well... Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going cross eyed. I will send pics as soon as I get my laptop up and ready in just a bit.
I like watching your videos in the selection you talk upon real informative make me look at this 1998P dime extremely extorted face of Franklin D Roosevelt I’m going to have to look into it would love to send it to you and or photos of it.
Love your videos, But sum errors are very hard to determine if I can’t seem to find a coin simulator to mine on the videos . It’s a 1955 Lincoln cent but very strange looking do you have a way for your viewers to show the errors and get your feed back to see if it is worth getting graded? Thank you Queen B33
Id like to see some of the ways coins are disfigured by the machine. I've seen one that you had, had been caught up in the machines and got cut up. Someone said think about if the damage could have occured from the machines.......?????
Hi Shaun😊 EXCELLENT VIDEO 🎉 Cheers to You Thank you so much for schooling US 💖YOU & The Knowledge that You Share are Priceless👑 Your Loyal Entourage💱 Lauren⚘
So if I had 30 , 40 ,or more double struck coins, how should a amateur go about getting them verified and sold . Not a person with much means of cash flow !
I'm willing to bet I can't count the number of these coins on both hands that I probably took and threw across the parking lot of the field thinking it was something that got hit by a trucker whatever when I was a kid
%$%$ READ$%$%$ I have a 2000 state quarter that not stuck and flipped after the strike and then the 2001 quarter when it began cuz they were being minted at the same time it was actually struck onto that coin so about 1/ quarter of the coin is muled with the 2001 Kentucky an the back where the horse stands is perfect

Video missed the Double Struck Proof Cent that you were talking about. There was no picture of the Cent.
That 1910 liberty head nickel is an absolute beautiful error. Reminds me of duality.
Ffuck this pissed off phone

Thank's Blue 👊
Hey Shawn! Any chance you could take a look at a couple of coins for me?
How can you tell if your coin has been ran over for years or if it came out of the ment like that?
Do these coins ever have a 180° flip/turn
Thank u Sean for this video..well done in explaining double struck...
Are clads worth money? Or blacken or brown clads ?
GREAT information. Thank you much appreciated
I have a couple coins that look weird, I should check them!!
Collar or collet? Looks kinda like a collet, used to hold tooling or work in metal, as in 5c collet

Anyone know it coins damaged when being put in a roll are worth anything? The damage causes a circle like impression in the coin.

No video of the Proof Lincoln Cent, while you were commentating!!!
I have about six Lincoln pennies that shows two faces and two heads
Hi Sir Shawn amazing chamber u got there must be costly🙏😘🌈
so question do collars get chipped?
Definitely! The terms are "die break", "die chip". They appear as raised spots, bumps, lines, etc., where those such things shouldn't be.
Nice error 👍👍👍
How can a coin have a D over S or S over D mint mark, when their all struck at their origin mint?
Or are they?
