Man I hate this episode, because it so accurately describes my programmed nature. It's fucking hard to unprogrammed and do the work to get past this. 43 now and every relationship has ended horribly. Glad you both got a laugh out of this. I wish I could laugh with you, it's excruciating to live this way.
Women follow their nature. Here's how it goes, this is the important part: _She wants to be a part of the liking process_ If you like her already from the get-go, trying to impress her, you're robbing her of the experience, and THAT is why they don't like nice guys. First and foremost, women want the whole experience, from start to finish. If you're already finishing, how could she even enjoy the process?
You can turn it around man. Coincidentally, Robert Glover here in the video was the same age when he started to turn it around. Take it a day at a time. I relate to you myself as I’m a recovering nice guy. I’ve made a lot of progress, but it’s a life long journey. You got this.
23:40 Catch yourself! _Fear of delayed failure appearing as fear of success_ If I do X and I succeed, then I may lose X, and then I'll be even a bigger mooncalf. People will be jealous of my success, therefore, I will be even greater failure. Round and round, fear of failure goes
What I ""like"" about this Nice Guys videos is that they use the Term "" Nice Guy " but they DON'T SAY ANYTHING good or nice about the "" Nice Guy"" ,They don't seem to win no matter what
Interesting analysis. It's portrayed in a very negative way. As if seeking validation is a bad thing. All UA-camrs are validation seekers. I also feel that if you do things right and you don't get a resut, that would annoy anyone, not just nice guys. Being kind and fair to people used to be a positive character trait, not anymore apparently. Now there's always a hidden agenda it seems. Not wanting to excell in life is not always a choice. Most people don't have a specific talent that puts them above the rest. In the end we all seek appproval, either by being a nice guy or by being a total asshole. Unfortunately the latter seems to be what's more popular with the ladies these days
A Nice Guy according to the things you described they have IT'S NOT A NICE GUY it is worst than a Bad Boy , stop calling Nice Guy a person that have all those traits
Are you a recovering Nice Guy? Join us for more great interviews with Dr. Robert Glover at integrationnation.net!
I loved the part where you said that “quick to anger” is still a Mr. Nice Guy tendency
So is the type of narcissistic psycho that women go for, mistaking their narcissism for confidence.
being “nice” is situational. People can be nice in one situation and a complete sociopath in another situation. That’s the dynamic of being human
That's called bipolar!
A new channel Dr. Glover…about time. Want that tshirt!

You're 43, still got a lot of time left to make the best out of it, this ain't athletics, you're not out of your prime...

A typical nice guy avatar would be . . . Alice Cooper. ;-)

The word is ARCHETYPAL, not ‘prototypical’ - that is not a real word.
