The five stages of gratitude represent a progressive journey towards a deeper appreciation for positive aspects of life.
Recognition: Involves becoming aware of and acknowledging the positive elements or sources of support in one's life.
Acknowledgment: Moves beyond recognition to a conscious acceptance of the impact of these positive elements on one's well-being, often expressed verbally or mentally.
Appreciation: Goes further by developing a deeper understanding of the value and significance of these positive aspects, reflecting on specific benefits or positive impacts.
Emotional Experience: Gratitude transforms into an emotional experience, where genuine feelings of joy, warmth, or humility arise in response to the recognized positivity.
Reciprocity: The final stage entails a desire to give back or pay it forward, acknowledging that positive aspects in one's life can be shared with others. Acts of kindness or support become a natural expression of this stage.

Appreciation is something I'm consciously exploring nowadays. It occurred to me in the past year that I don't have to dwell in negative aspects of things or people. Instead, I can focus on the aspects that I benefit from or positive to me in some way and appreciate them. Only one positive aspect is enough. One thing to appreciate changes everything. This video is so important. A change in perception and the consciousness changes the whole attitude and ultimately the life of a person. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that the video resonated with you and that you're exploring the power of appreciation. It truly can make a difference in our lives.
Thank you.
You're welcome!

I'm so glad this video was helpful for you. I wish you well.
I watched a lecture on bpd from uk and they said that a bpd therapist needs a whole team in order not to be completely drained. Is this true? How do you do it dr Fox? Your methods are so dialed in. I created a chart and worksheet for myself, but i think I'll just buy one of yours😅. Thank you again so much
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her
its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back
Amazing, how did you get a spiritual counselor, and how do i reach her?
Her name is chamani White, and she is a great spiritual counselor who can bring back your ex.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked her up now online. impressive
I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. Breakups can be really tough, but remember that time will heal your wounds and things will get better eventually. Hang in there!
Hey Dr. Fox. Could you make a video about how BPD can be interpreted through some of Carl Jungs concepts?
Do you know of any resources in Texas for mental health grant programs that cover the cost of this kind of personality evaluation?
Is it possible to go from one style BPD to another l? I feel I started out the quiet you're when I was younger self hate and mental self sabotage (still do that but not as bad) I found meditation around my 20s started that everyday and realized my thoughts were not as bad and my hate was not as bad, but it took me a year to realize just a little difference but now I have noticed i am on a different style bpd tendencies or traits or full on BPD in not sure. (until i made my worksheet from your videos recently ) but is it possible to heal one type of BPD only to progress to another type completely?
This is some of the tennets of Alcoholics Anonymous.
I'm so glad this video was helpful for you. I wish you well.
She just blocked me without any explanation
