- In this video you will see me catch 2 coyotes on a cow pasture. I am trapping this farm to help a farmer with coyotes going after his calves. One of the coyotes is by far one of the prettiest coyotes that I have ever caught. I hope you enjoy the video!!!
Great job bro from 2fellow young trapper up in Canada
Really like your videos, blonde coyote was pretty. Keep up the good work.
Couple nice yotes!
Outstanding work, gotta love them doubles!
Congratulations on two awesome
coyotes !!
Great videos as well !! 🤗
That was a beautiful coyote my friend! Great job! Thank you for sharing!
I’d be interested in hearing about the live market. I like that you added the catch pole part of the videos back in. It seems like your homemade catch pole worked better for you once you had them in the crate vs the store bought one.
Keep hammering buddy!
BTW.. don’t forget to order more Lightning in a Bottle!!!
I love your videos and they are so informational. You take the time to make specific points and I have learned a tremendous amount from watching your channel. Keep it up.
I have a good one for ya... been having trouble for 2 or 3 years with people running bears on my property here in NW North Carolina. Well day before yesterday I doubled up on their Walker Hounds...LMAO. And bear season is out... One of my Moultrie Edge Pros even got the catch on one of them....lol. So they had to come and get the dogs from me this time and my wife works for the Sheriff. I will let you feel in the blanks, but they didn't leave in the same vehicle they came in!!............ On another note I just started trapping this year and had no waxed dirt prepared so I go down below my house to the big bridge on the state rd. and dig dry dirt from under it and then when bedding I use biggstime trapping's salt methods and most of my traps are under the North face of the mountain and never see sun this time of year. We are getting down to around 20 and sometimes lower every night and we have had tons of rain and some Ice and light snow here at 2300 ft. elevation and my Duke 650s are all firing. Those 2 sets that caught the bear dogs hadn't been touched in over 3 weeks. One was a trench dirt hole into a logging rd. bank and the other was a scent post on the lower rd. side. With the results that salt and plain ice melt is giving me Idk if I will ever mess with waxed dirt. And as long as you order non iodized it won't rust your traps. Its only about 20 bucks for 25 pounds on Amazon. Im gonna start painting my traps anyways, I tried it on one this year and it has caught twice. I also have one no BS trap and it came painted. ...Noice dogs bro!!
I gotha subscribed fren.. You remind me of my upbringing my dad trapped the 70's & 80's and I followed suit.. Nuisance trapping now in N.C..... Always get dry dirt from under cedar tree
Nice!! Storm moved in at my place so should be runnin
By the way love the catch pole content
Great dog! I haven’t ever seen one that light here in MD.
Congrats man! Nice pair of coyotes! I wish I could let ya a pic, got a nice blonde male hunting, waiting patiently on the mount to be done! Again, good job, thank you for another good video!
Awesome job man!!! Love your videos and have learned a lot!!! Got my 2nd yote ever yesterday morning!! Keep on keeping on man!!
Awesome video buddy loving them blond coyotes so pretty 🇺🇸💯💯💯
When I caught lice coyote I used a aluminum dog box. Makes getting them off catch pole easy. As well as getting them back on the pole to unload them
Don’t worry about them haters man. Each one of your videos are a reminder of God’s fascinating creation. Hunting, fishing and trapping is a great reminder of the magnificent design and construction of the creation God implemented for us. Don’t forget, from the beginning, in Genesis 1:28 King James Version (KJV) God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Amen brother!!
Beautiful yote there !
Awesome video brother!
I have the same catch pole as you and over time having so many coyotes biting that coating around the loop, that's what's making it hang up, cut that coating off and it'll be better than new
Awesome video! Glad to see the grays didn’t get the best of you!
Nice catches man ! Would love to see a video detailing the live market. Tight chains !
Thank you for the video.
Great job sir!! Enjoyed it as always
There have always been haters and always will,we do what we do,good video.
Times up in NC.... unless you have depradation permits...😢
Good video man. Enjoyed it!
Great stuff! Several have asked, please respond, what do you do with the live coyotes? I assume it’s for training dogs?
Awesome Job!!
Have you ever used the duke 650 yet if so would you recommend those I’m currently using the 550s
Never have. I personally think they are too much trap for the size of the coyotes in NC. kinda like taking a 30-06 rabbit hunting, it’s over kill lol
Thanks for the videos I always go back to some older videos after watching a few it’s time to go set a few sets Thanks for you time
@jakeaddy1742 thank you for your support!!
What model duke traps are you using ? Great show by the way.
550
Awesome catches!! Man I’ve watched every one of your vids and still haven’t figured out the gloves. When and when not to wear them?? Your scent doesn’t seem to bother them. is this true??
Some feedback on my question would be awesome
Sorry bro!! So I have a “dirty” pair of setting gloves and a “clean” pair of setting gloves. They’re just gardening gloves.
Dirty, is for when I catch a critter and handle them and make the remake.
Clean, is for traps that are getting set for the first time.
If I’m setting traps all day, I’ll wear rubber gloves when baiting the sets. This prevents scent transfer from my fingers to my other traps. If I’m only doing a remake or only planning on setting 1 or 2 traps, I don’t wear rubber gloves.
I hope this helps! Sorry for the delayed response!
@@CarolinaCoyote no problem at all. Thanks for the help and the tips. Hopefully, after setting traps going on two years I can catch my first predator.
Why do u out them in the crates just wondering never seen it pretty neat
nice
Do you have a live market for them coyotes there? I caught a blonde one last year she turned into a wall hanger 😂
I would be taking that mail to the taxidermist to get him mounted sharp looking coyote😅
💪👊👍
Nice work what do you do with the Live Coyote
Why you put those animals in a cage ? Do you relase thoses coyotes somewhere else ?
Please describe your crate cage in detail.
If the last layer of dirt put over the trap, isn’t that going to feel soft to the coyote/fox and make them want to dig?
That’s why I pack everything, and when I sift my last layer I sift a larger area than just over the trap
@@CarolinaCoyote Thank you!!!! Excellent videos!! Helpful too!
First coyote I caught was a BEAUTIFUL blonde!! I've not had a dry set or remake on this end of NC thanks to all the rain but, I'm having issues with coyotes walking by my sets now and not working them. Rebaited everything last night so I'm hoping things pick back up. Any pointers on this??
Coyotes will do this more often than people realize. They smell it, they know it’s there, they just have to work up the courage to approach the set
Good job
@@CarolinaCoyote trail cameras are amazing on sets!!
Who do you sell to around there?
?
Congratulations 👍
