This did help me but also showed me how deep to place them depending on the area and due to the music the whole time in the video I knew something was gunna happen 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Logan Savage no I made it from an exhaust pipe coupler .. you can purchase them at your local parts store. They have several sizes to fit your trap pan. You can drill two holes for a wire bail. Thanks for watching !
Salt is sodium chloride, that's calcium chloride that he put on the trap, deer, rabbit and other rodents love Salt. But calcium chloride tastes bitter, so it's better than Salt. But I use neither because both will eat your trap up. Very corrosive. Even with dying and waxing you will damage your trap. Use dry waxed dirt.
@@simonvanevery7995 Yeah Its salt and that will work but it corrodes traps over time. Wax dirt is a better alternative but more expensive unless you make it yourself.
@Tony Hedgewolf if you check the other videos on the channel several deal with waxed dirt, the best way to go during freezing/wet temps. This video was filmed at the very end of the season after all the waxes dirt was gone. I have 150 year old traps that had salt on them more than dirt. Maintenance of your traps is key-but go trapping even if it’s with table salt !
Damn all the way to the end and he got bit on the finger I hope it didn’t catch you, nice set up I love them double long springs

Had it not been for the wind, The music would have been replaced with commentary - Thanks for watching and supporting Trapping !
Did you buy the thing you put around the pan? New to trapping!

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the white powder?
