Just wanted to thank you for the videos. Just started trapping a little over a week ago due to coyotes getting too close to the house…one actually chased my son when he was walking in the woods 😬. Nailed my first coyote today in a dirt hole set baited with Hiawatha valley and hawbackers gland lure. From southeast TN thank you, I basically learned by watching many of your videos and some other channels as well.
Congrats on your first coyote and I hope you have many more to come! Thankful your son is okay! Definitely not normal for them to do that. Thanks for supporting the channel and good luck trapping. Tight chains!!
Fantastic season caught on video for a lifetime of memories !! Congratulations Isaac !! 🤗 I will be doing some coyote trapping all summer long here in Ohio to keep my land owners happy. In Ohio it is legal to trap coyotes year round and there is no bag limit. Also looking forward to the upcoming Thunder Chicken season !! Good luck ! 🍀
Great set-up buddy! Thank you for sharing your troubles and trials on the shock springs and quick links! I'd love to trade turkey hunts with you but we only have Easterns here in Illinois too! Good luck with everything my friend!
Duke 450’s would be my guess. I run 550’s myself both Duke and MB’s and love both of them. I really enjoyed this trapping season and following along watching your videos. Keep them coming but the BEST season is upon us and I can’t wait either. Can’t wait to see your turkey videos
Please tell us about your kneeling mat. I like that it rolls and that it’s flat enough to pull to dirt from setting your trap up onto the mat. Then it also makes for clean up and blending easier. What is it? I need one! Enjoy your channel - and always looking forward to your videos Dudley
We are wrapping up the beaver trapping I would say we are around 150 or so for the year. Thinking I want to get into some coyote trapping next year. Could do a video on making your gland lure. Cleaning and putting up your traps for next year. Review on your hole augers. Could do some area shots of the places you trap and tell us why you set trap where you did.
Great video and i really like your idea on how you use the quick link to adjust the stake length. If i could get one of those stickers for my truck id definitely support and advertise your channel
Great video, man! I hope it is helpful for many trappers. I love your channel, your smile and your enthusiasm. Have a great time, man, and tight chains!
I like to run cell cameras on my sets like you. How about a video on cameras cell plans location to put cameras according to trap sets. Also a video on when you like to use certain scents and baits. Is it weather related or behavior of the coyotes on camera? Hope that helps! Keep up the great videos!!
Im guessing you’re switching over to dogless. I run Bridger #2s and i bought some of their dogless this year to try and so far i love em. I use quick links on my traps too. I dont trust those split rings. Enjoyed it sir
My guess is your thinking about switching to the No BS k9 extremes….. am I right? TN pushed their turkey season out a couple of weeks and dropped the bag limit from 3 to 2, with only one Jake allowed. I’m kinda bummed about the later opening date.
Big ol tom in front of the house just a few minutes ago!!!! It was your videos and information that lead to my trap set up which is exactly what you explained. However, early this season and before I learned a few things I lost a whole rig because I went cheap on anchors. I can say Fox Hollow is the bomb...or should I say bomb proof cause they aint coming out!!!
Great Season this year! I enjoyed your channel thoroughly. I've been subscribed for several years now and I've picked up a lot from you. I was wondering how you sell the live trapped animals and what they go for??? I'm wondering - are you thinking of going with the NO BS Canine Extreme Juniors??? I just ordered several and they're scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We shall see... Thanks again and God Bless!
Tell us about the live coyote market. If you catch 10 in a couple of weeks is there one person that takes all those? Just curious how that market works. What would be typical pay? Have you ever used the finned earth anchors? i just ordered some and seemed to be an easy concept to attach a cable and then just pull it straight out of the ground Favorite bait / lures and if you have really seen any specific pattern to using the same for remake catches
How do you manage scent control? Do you use different gloves for different reasons? Do rubber boots make a difference? Great info. And you’re right about our GA turkeys. They don’t hammer like others.
What’s your process on waxing and dying your traps from right out of the box? What do you store your traps in during the season to keep them scent free? Also, what’s your process for making your waxed sand? I really enjoy watching your videos. I’ve been subscribed for probably 3 years or so now. I find your content very informative. Good luck when you start chasing those thunder chickens!
@@CarolinaCoyote how does your turkey season structure work? Here in Wisconsin we have to apply by December 10th every year and put down your 1st and 2nd choice for season and zone, and then we’re entered into a lottery. You may not get drawn for either choice, so then if you’re lucky there may be leftover tags for your zone of choice, but it would be one of the last 2 weeks of the season. Our season is divided into 6 separate weeks and your tag is only valid during the 1 week it was purchased for. Right next door in Michigan they have like a month and a half season and you can hunt anytime during that month and a half. I’ve been fortunate enough to have access to a 400 acre farm that I can hunt
@@CarolinaCoyotefor me, only having a 7 day window to hunt is kinda tough. Especially when my work schedule is 8pm-6am Monday night through Friday morning. The only days I can get in the woods before daylight are Saturday Sunday and Monday. That’s why it’s nice to have access to that private farm property. But then if you end up with a few days of rain during your 1 week, it makes it a little tougher. This is the 2nd year that I haven’t applied for the lottery. I’ll just wait until the window for extra tags opens up and see what’s available for my 2 zones…. If there are any 🤷🏻♂️
I am and always will be interested in how you select the locations to make sets. I just don’t think you could ever talk to much on what goes into “I’m setting traps right here and why”
What does the average pelt bring. From coyotes, fox, racoon, etc. An where do you sell them. Local or ?. Keep up the good work, lime your videos an info.
Try hitting up Justin from Knot Normal Adventures. He hog hunts with dogs and has taken several other UA-camrs turkey hunting with him. Might make a good collaboration video
I used to have 4 coil but I noticed that I get the same success when using 2 coil. So I thought to myself, why pay more for the same outcome??? And I’ve never used a dog less trap!

Turkey videos love your channel keep up the good work
What exactly do you do with all your catches? Most people don't take them live so was wondering the concept behind it? Love the videos!

I’m in Randolph county NC and your right these turkeys in NC aren’t the same as them hush mouth birds in AL
Great video, man! I hope it is helpful for many trappers. I love your channel, your smile and your enthusiasm. Have a great time, man, and tight chains!
Thanks
Another good video brother. I personally run Bridger 2 dogless and some duke 2 dogless. But to each their own. Great content !
Thank you for making this
Would like to see how you get your earth anchors out. I switched to cable anchors due to not being able to get all of mine out.

I second the placement of your trail cams. I have cell cams for deer but wondering if you do anything different for trapping.

How you decide where to make a set if there’s no sign.
Adjusting pan tension and pan height for beginners.

Curious if your talking about the new Duke 450’s coming out this summer. They look really good and I’m sure will handle coyotes.

How do you clean your traps after the season.
Already working on that video!
What size quick links you using for 550 chain? Where you buy them from?

We get 2 turkey tags. Can only harvest 1 per day. Our season lasts 1 month

How to use earth anchors and drivers or how to catch bobcats
How much pan tension you run.
Turkey videos man,,,
Oh they’re coming!
How to request a picture on the reveal Tactacam prox camera?
Watched all your videos and it just dawned on me, do you not use urine at any of your sets?
I do! I just forget to put in on them from time to time lol
what do you get for yote hides? do you get some that are not top grade hides if what do you do with them?
I’d like to see a bait video!

Gonna use the 450s???
Maybe?????
Are you switching to the new Duke 450’s?
That's the first thing I thought also lol. 450's catch and hold, not a bad option, even for coyote.
What do you do with your catches?
Or the FB alpha
Why do u remove your dogs live?
Will the blood scare them?
I’m loving my no bs jrs I picked up and loving them dog less and have caught most my dogs and a cat in them
There hammering in Oklahoma
Is this an invite? Haha
Try hitting up Justin from Knot Normal Adventures. He hog hunts with dogs and has taken several other UA-camrs turkey hunting with him. Might make a good collaboration video
Thank you!!!
What is the reason you put your coyotes in a box alive??
Turkey time
Gobble gobble!!!
Why do you go 2 coil over 4 coil and what’s your thought on dog on vs dogless?
