Honestly the burning blade edition is the thing that will scratch the itch of all the man o war commenters that I’ve noticed in the past 5 years on videos and I don’t doubt it will indeed scratch that itch

It’s a ship, with red sails, and a flamethrower, do you realize how common those ideas are for fictional pirate ships?
Last time I was this excited was with the pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, maybe this year is even better since it improves upon your whole gameplay

From the description; biting it in the aft seems the only chance you have. Front spewer and 10 cannons a side means you best sneak at the back of that beast and kick it in the poop deck
Season 13 may be the best season to date, can't wait to command flamehearts vessel! (and then probably sink immediately but we worry about that when it happens)

The only thing I have concerns for is the harpoon walking, and only because not everything you harpoon will be stationary and I can imagine it being a bit buggy. I hope it's well implemented though!

I was getting really worried about the fact that this will make boarding either easier. But then I remembered that this is going to take weapon slot. Which means you wanna be borders gonna have a hard time having only one actual weapon at their disposal

Bro i just got to the throwable skelly spawner and i am HYPED. I am a solo slooper so having an item i can throw down to help me, even if just a bit, when i get boarded is awesome!
It will MOST LIKELY be the biggest year yet, because so far 2018 was the biggest year for sea of thieves thus far. If these seasons dont get pushed back, I cant wait for this year.
I also see a competetive view coming back in 2025, if it goes back into esports, i will come back.
Everything looks awesome but one thing: if we can use the horn to blow in sales means the small ships are practically screwed when fighting against big ships. You can't run against the wind anymore to escape and the people from the big ships also have more people who can use the horn to make the ship faster.... so RIP solo sloop players like me....

Burning blade bad ass looking hull with normal galleon sails.
That immediately seems over powered, if getting them is like getting cursed cannonballs though then that would be cool. If they’re easy to get though it would probably be painful

I think it's funny that people still think flame heart wants to be a pirate. Honestly, what kind of pirates sinks ships and takes nothing from them? What kind of a pirate isn't interested in treasure?

Hmm no new sea monsters though. I'd appreciate more life in the ocean. Maybe something creepy in the fog too. I was so creeped out my first time encountering the fog event but then realized it was nothing more than vision obscure. I hope PvE (in general not Safer Seas specifically) gets some updates to keep up with our new tools. Like if a skeleship rams you it should spawn some enemies skeletons on your ship , just small things like that.

It's nice to see more content coming to the game, but everything mentioned there, it feel just like a big middle finger to any solo players, as if it wouldn't be hard enough to compete against Multiplayer crews already!

First off, it's 2. The one at the beginning is all 1, I think that's obvious. Second, it's to differentiate my content styles. If it's a scripted video about a topic it won't have the Ghost Flash branding, format, and assets. I do a similar thing with Mystery Recapped. I compare Ghost Flash to a news show.

It is literally THE FINALS in sot but without the clean smooth movment it
Comparing the Finals to SoT is like comparing apples and oranges lol. Very different games and it’s worth noting that The Finals, from a development standpoint, is actually pretty easy to update compared to SoT.
Sawed off, ziplines, grapple, throwing knives.
They are closer than you think, just one difference is that Embark know how to balance a game to be fun and take skill

Because that’s a SHOTGUN and not a pistol, you’re basically comparing a design. I don’t know if you’re suggesting that Rare copied these ideas from the Finals or not (they didn’t, by the way. Impossible for them to in terms of the timeline) but how does it matter either way? Once again, these are very different games that are developed very differently. SoT is far more limited and is significantly harder to update, the Finals is brand new and is specialized. There’s absolutely no point in comparing these games. And everything shown is still in development. What are you even talking about?
I know they are in lots of games, but the models and animations and very similar and it's also funny that this is all a thing right after THE FINALS blows up
