Enjoy this video of a trip plagued with trouble from Sydney (Chullora Industrial Branch) to Maitland (Telarah Yard)
This journey was a carriage transfer to move the Picnic Trains running set from Sydney to the Hunter Valley for the continuation of its 2024 steam program in the area.
The trip was also used as a trial for engine 42107 which as seen in the video was not successful. The video also takes place the first day after a few continuous days of heavy rain and the network has suffered multiple breakdowns of equipment and causes some delay to the journey.
