ABOUT ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOWS
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you will live the intertwined stories of Naoe, an adept shinobi Assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, the powerful African samurai of historical legend. Against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this remarkable duo will discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan. From chaos to purpose, from darkness to light. A new Creed rises over Japan.
Discover the captivating open world of Feudal Japan, from spectacular castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and pastoral landscapes. Adventure through unpredictable weather, changing seasons, and reactive environments.
As the quick-witted and agile Naoe, use noise, light, and shadows to evade detection as enemies respond to their changing surroundings. Distract guards using kunai, shuriken, and smoke bombs, infiltrate enemy bases with your grappling hook and parkour skills, and assassinate your targets with the hidden blade. As the legendary and charismatic samurai Yasuke, strike your foes with brutal precision and power. Use his combat-oriented skills to attack, block, parry, and defeat your enemies. Master the vast arsenal of weapons at your disposal - featuring katana, kanabo, bows, naginata, and more - to free Japan from its oppressors.

I don’t care what anyone says about Ubisoft, they know how to make a cinematic trailer.
But a cool trailer doesn’t mean we’ll get a cool game. Or a game at all, beyond good and evil 2 has been announced since 2009
@@kirby4164 That wasn’t my point.
A company called Digic Pictures makes the trailers. They‘re also here on UA-cam. They know what they‘re doing!
(Of course they work together with Ubisoft to create their vision of the trailer)
@@Dudeli They do great work IMO.
Real bro
Ezio Family never dead ❤🤤
3:24
Arigato to the developers.
Japan has always been an interesting concept in any game.
3:24 the ezio's family theme😮
The pivot blade seen just hits hard
The pivot hidden blade hits hard
It's good to see it again
This trailer gives shogun vibes
Nigerian Prince samurai. There existed one in history, as I recall, he was awarded great honors
prince😂 he is a slave
Ubisoft you better not mess it up. I love assassin‘s Creed, but it doesn’t have that spark anymore.
This game is being developed by UbiQuebec, the same studio behind Syndicate and Odyssey, it is full RPG.
Ahh sengoku period
Everything was split and been fighting for domination over the land, i hope there will be some legends and myths as side quests/sequence to it too
Been waiting a while for a game set in Japan. Never thought I’d see the day
The end gave me chills... Can't wait
Fans: Make a Japan setting AC game!
Ubisoft: No.
Sucker Punch: Fine, I'll do it myself.
Fans: YEY!
Ubisoft: We can do it too!
Looks like two character arc story like in Origins, by the looks of it is Tensho Iga war during sengoku period with samurai and lords in the open battle field and ninjas in the shadow. The japan assassin brotherhood gear looks fucking awsome, they even brought the pivot blade back, maybe the japanese invented the pivot blade. SO MUCH SHIT GOING ON.
I miss when Ubi made trailers that actually made us want to play the game
Which one do you prefer?
A. Ghost of Tsushima
B. Rise of the Ronin
C. Like a Dragon Ishin
D. Assassin's Creed Shadows
Tenchu
What’s Like a Dragon Ishin?
Too soon to say.
I know what you thinking, the competition is tough, AC Shadows must surpass our expectations, it's a "must" specially when they decide to enter this era so late like this.
Seeing as I can only play 2 of these as I gotta xbox Definitely Like a dragon it's on the backlog of yakuza games I've never played one so yeah that game I can wait to play. AC meh if it's on gamespass I might play it seeing as I already pay for the service but I'm not gonna go out way to give ubi this year what with creed and star wars outlaws I would not wanna be a ubisoft shareholder on nxt years call. Oof.
Remember fellas, dont pre-order from Ubisoft!
Explain
@@MatPgame67 Search AC Unity Launch disaster.
@MatPgame67 There well known for scamming their customers did u not play the Ragnorok dlc it cost extra on top of the game and season pass. Its like the new srar wars locking a jabba the hunt mission behind on 20 pound/dollar paywall.
@@darthc3rb3rus22 why it has a season pass? The gane would be better at the eye of the public without it
@MatPgame67 I think you're agreeing with me but unsure but what happened with Valhalla is they released the game originally with a season pass but then later released separate dlc to the tune of £30 for just the Ragnorok dlc and the already known star wars outlaws debacle where again you can pay well over £100 for the game with the season pass but doe's not include a jabba the hutt mission that was already finished.
So yeah scummy microtransaction dlc holding the customer upside down and shaking all the loose change out of their pockets.
Where as so many other games offer a game no season pass a good game and an awesome experience. To say one of the best so called triple a games I've played all year is a game about witches and wizards a big castle, and broomstick riding with no glitches and a finished game on day one is a rarity these days. I didn't even pre order that game.
I never pre order games anymore because most gamers are savvy enough to realise that most games aren't even finished when they're released its a joke. Hogwarts Legacy was a breath of fresh air. The majority of decent games now are indie games anyways and look at all the controversy surrounding that game it literally had a trans character in the hogsmeade pub but it still wasn't enough its never enough and once u give in they want more and more.
This new Tenchu trailer looks great.
What I'm most curious about is what historical figures they might introduce.
My knowledge of Japanese history is vague, so I'm kinda interested to see what this'll be about, so far pretty solid stuff.
Ok go ahead black samurai
As long as it doesnt' have RPG elements Im all in.
It's an RPG, already confirmed.
If the combats actually good and actually take skill it's ok
that is sick
Looks interesting enough, just funny they release it a day before Ghost of Tsushima on PC.
I love the name shadows
So do I.
Me too
"we are the shadows" says the man in heavily dressed armor😂😂
Without a Hidden Blade and without a Assassin outfit
ghost of tshushima on budget.........
Rise of the Ronion wad garbage.
Naoe-san will be the scalpel while Yasuke-dono will be the hammer.
And given his known brutality, and what we just saw, I assume Oda Nobunaga will feature as an antagonist in some way. Canon says he came into possession of a Sword of Eden, so maybe one of our protagonists will have a role in the Honno-ji Incident alongside Akechi Mitsuhide.
this trailer looks like Sekiro which also has SHADOWS in its name
Awww, at least Ubisoft remembered my birthday 😁😁😁😁😁
I love how people forget what Assassin's creed is. Mostly fictional and changed history. Still people want accurate history.
Anyways lets forget this drama soon enough.
Cant wait to play the game thanks to Ubi + when it comes out.
There are no black Japanese.
super excited for this ❤❤
I always thought that the Warring States period would be an excellent backdrop for an Assassin's Creed game. With Japan in chaos due to near-constant warfare for about a century, the country would be ripe for the Templar philosophies of control, hierarchy, and order. The most obvious Templars would be foreign merchants or Jesuit priests trying to establish Christianity in Japan, but Japanese people from warlords to farmers would also be attracted to Templar promises of control and peace through order. The Assassins could easily become the original legendary ninjas who used guerilla warfare, deception, and stealth to fight those who would conquer and oppress them.
I hope this includes Japanese Audio
I hope it has big ass map like odyssey. It'll be worth every penny
Ohh this will good to play, can't wait to pre order it XD
Plus loce that japanese rock music and ezio's family them 😄
Black samurai interesting
Shadows, huh? That does sound like it has pretty good ring to it. Isn't that right, Altair?
I’m So fucking excited!!!!
Remember guys Chronicles also had one in China BUUUUT they definitely will do even better, also how many assassin's we have in total? And i mean in ALL games not only main games
FINALLY an assassins creed that looks good to play since AC2, brotherhood, and revelations....i cant wait!
To the owner of this channel, will you play this game completely using the Japanese dub?
I can't really say at this moment. Surely I will do at least one playthrough in English, like I did with Mirage. If I'll have time, I might do also a complete guide in Japanese too.
Don't Yasuke hairstyle and facial look like Alexios from AC Odyssey?
If Ubisoft once again making a gender role thing again, it will be like Valhalla and Odyssey cases over again. Least that can do is having a story narrative similar to Origin and Syndicate at least while having a Ghost of Tskhumira combat style.
yes
Before anyone comments, Yasuke was indeed the first black Samurai.
Even the world's top historians can't agree on that highly contentious issue but don't let facts get in the way of a comment
Sure...
First time the assassins will be calt assassins and not hidden ones in 9 years first time an ac game is set after ac 1 since then aswel
It's cool and all, but i would like to see gameplay, thank you very much. And speaking about gameplay AC Syndicate playthrough when?
AC Shadows gameplay will be revealed at Ubisoft Forward in June. For Syndicate, I'll start as soon as possible.
TO HONNOJI!!!!
I wonde rif they gonna make Japanese Gods as part of Isu too.
You know, I was watching yesterday's *Kino Casino* show on Kick, and somebody brought up this and I swore it was a bad faith joke.... Woaaaaahhh Buddy!.......AC Bros, not like this....
This actually looks really good but it is just the trailer. Please learn from your mistakes Ubisoft.
AC Egypt = Egyptian
AC Greece = Greek
AC Europe = European
AC Japan = American
*African
When shadows is released, I’m playing as the shinobi
not bad
finally finally 😮 ( i have no money)
Where black character blade
Ireng buanget rek woilah 😋
Will be able to Naruto run right
BANGER
When we getting some yummy 🤤😋 gameplays?
During the Ubisoft Forward event, June 10th.
OMG!!!!! THIS TRAILER IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO PRE ORDER THIS!!!!
Another Ghost of Tushima knock off
I'm just glad it's inclusive lol
Don't get me started m8 I've already had a rant in the comments above. It's nice to see ubisoft have turned all their comments off too on their official trailer. How strange huh haha.
Ok so the trailer already give us the tragedy of the main character's story instead of surprise us in game... how did ubi fall so down...
Japanese dub plz
I don't have faith that this would be a good game. Assassins creed fell off a long time ago.
Japan has lots of game of its story,But Middle east had none without AC games
Please don’t such please don’t such
Probably gonna be another s**ty Game but cool trailer though
At this point the AC Games are like Louie Vuitton you're just paying for the name and nothing else
Another game brought to you ny sweet baby Inc. Jesus christ.
Smh.
OH MY GOD BLACK PEOPLE! SO SCAAAAAAAAAAARY. He's based on an actual historical figure, dipfuck. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasuke
Please do your research, Yasuke did exist and was the first Black Samurai.
Ubisoft has always been inclusive with their games, way before that company was founded - which by the way, was founded by ex Ubisoft employee. Anyhow, you might like it or not, but surely it's not a surprise for them to push these kind of narrative.
By the way, female ninjas do exist and they are called Kunoichi, and Yasuke, the Black Samurai, is actually based on a real character. So, up until now, there isn't nothing untrue, just rare if not unique events and people.
@AssassinsCreedSeries Firstly, I will debate Yasuke even tho like you said, it was based, so even the best historians in their world are still unsure of his origins and from whence he came. Oh, this is for the history professor who commented first, and yeah, AC Series. I kinda saw this coming, but it's so on the nose dood. I have no problems playing as women in computer games. I've been playing as them since I was a kid, Ms Pac Man, Lara Craft, and pretty much every much artifix mundi game has a female lead. A lot of jrpgs have female leads. I even played as Cassandra in the Greek ac Odysee that's not my problem here.
My issue is companies like sweet baby Inc have been trying and succeeding in inserting dei into every peice of entertainment we now consume disney have lost billions and they're one of the worst offenders then they infiltrated comics and all of a sudden Jean Grey, Logan and Pysclops are all in a polygamous relationship on the moon. Yup right now superman's sons gay right gotcha.
We've got female space Apdeptus Custodes when their was no need their was already a faction of female witches that were even more powerful than than custodes anyway, but amazon had to push for that shit coz we all know how good Picard and the Rings of power were right. Wrong.
I'm sick of this shit you can call me an ist a phobe. I've heard it all before, and I don't care
This cancer of dei has infiltrated every facet of modern entertainment, and Im gonna tell exactly why ubisoft has done this it's called the double shield.
So anyone like me that states the truth oh and check out suicide squad kills the justic league and compare it to hogwarts legacy sales if u don't believe me. So u put a femlae Ninja in an Assassin's creed story most people probably wouldn't have a problem with it. But they've gotta take that extra little peice and just keep on pushing so now we have female Ninja and Black Male Ninja or Shogun or Ronin as he appears to be depicted so anyone that makes waves or complains will instantly be classed as a misogynist or a racist or both. Just wait watch this space.
Why do u think Ubisoft has comments turned off on their trailer because of gamers like me who will spend upwards of now £100 on the super deluxe edition. Games ain't cheap and the customer even their an arsehole is usually right especially if they're ones paying for your product.
Do u realise that hasbro the toy company has almost been bankrupted by the Walt disney company because no one wanted sequel toys in mass. That's why their selling toys have and always will be the ot toys.
Look man I dig your channel and I'm glad a lot of you are happy about this and are looking forward to playing it. But I'll stick with my Ezio collection which I'm currently playing coz where gaming's headed with all dei bullshit yeah count me out.
Diversity Equality and Inclusion. Whatever happened to the right person for the right job hmm? That used to be a thing and now we have things like the acolyte by disney naa I'm good ill just watch the new Shogun show instead a good show with strong females that still act like females and not like blokes.
I completely understand your point, but I don't share the same sentiment simply because to me people are at liberty to do whatever they want when they create a game, movie, comic book or any kind of piece of art simply because, as a consumer, I have the liberty to decide if I want to consume that specific piece of media or not. That is my right and that is my liberty, but I don't think that it's my right to dictate other people's "creativity" or force my likes and dislikes upon others.
Personally I am not a fan of multiplayer games and I was a fan a fan of the single player campaigns of Call of Duty. After what they did with the last campaign I stopped playing it and I'm not wasting my time shouting against Activision because the campaign was a piece of shit. I have looked at the title, I noticed it being the worst and shortest piece of crap ever made in the history of single player titles and I simply moved on to a different game.
I'm not saying that my way of dealing with stuff is the correct way, nor that yours is wrong. We are different and that's a good thing at the end of the day.
nerds will say the game is woke due to yasuke being black
No paying customers will say say that the game is woke because the Male Shogun is black.
Shut the hell up
Dunno, didn't me interested.
