- Hi everyone, in todays video I use all my experience to eliminate Rouille. Expect to see kills, parkour and assassin-like moments. This game is limitless as you can replay and complete missions in any way you like whether its pure stealth or all guns blazing. Hope you enjoy it!
Started off as one of the worst and ended up one of the best of all ACs, Unity will always have a special place in my heart

Lmao i'm so used to playing hack n slash games that i always end up killing everyone and if i get caught instead of running away i try to fight them
It also never occurred to me that all buildings have 4 sides that I can anytime choose one of them to pick off any guards I can’t reach instead of running balls deep straight toward them from 1 direction
In older stealth games such as thief and splinter cell, there's a playstyle called "Ghosting"
Ghosting is essentially leaving no trace of you ever being there. No guards alerted, not even suspicions and no kills or knockouts. You can take this even a step further and return every non-essential item such as keys in their original places and try to close every door and window after opening to make sure the no one knows how you got in ;)
Ghosting is an extremely fun and challenging playstyle that i recommend everyone try some time.
After this game got fixed, it became the peak of what I wanted in Assassin's Creed. I hoped Mirage would be like this.

Mirage didn’t have time for a new engine, it’s a great game for what it is. I had fun with it and will likely replay it soon.
I still don't understand how we went from this gameplay to what we have now... We are regressing and it's so painfully obvious. Such a shame this game got stained by the launch state
Part of it was because people started complaining about the formula (even though Unity and Syndicate was a complete rework of the gameplay so i have no idea what they were whining about), gamers reaped what they sowed and now we got this mess

I know we all love the look of the graphics and the parkour! But I also love how alive the city felt because crowds are everywhere and it also made sense to have the ability to hide in these crowds instead of sitting on a bench with two people. xD

The movement fluidity, the clothing texture, the mechanics to open doors and chests…everything is perfect is this game. Playing Mirage now I am already bored after 10 hours…
me to man, just reinstalled unity. Baghdad setting would've been great for parkour like this such a shame. especially since mirage was supposed to bring it back to its roots. love the fact that fighting is a last option in mirage but there's no parkour todo anything fun with stealth. same boring animations they've. been using for years now
I only managed 3-4 hours in Mirage. Was too repetetive and boring. This was much more satisfying to play.
Mirage feels better after 10 hours not worse because of the abilities, tools skills made it great
Mirage has such awful dialogue too I had to change it to Arabic just to tolerate it.

@@farewelljupiterconsidering unity was released 9 years ago the graphics are very good. Only thing that isnt as good are the Facial expressions of the characters. Everything else is quite good.
Especially the lighting is way ahead of its time.

God this game looks gorgeous. Between this and The Division, Ubisoft had visual presentation locked down back then.

They thought Arno lost potential as an Assassin but we all know his one of the best assassins in that era not high ups like Edward to Altair but a legend of its own. We the players will show how skillful Arno is

Damn, this run is one of the MOST LORE-AUTHENTIC ROLEPLAY. I am just amazed. It does not feel rushed or like the player has memorized gaurd locations and choreographing the kills, he is constantly reading the situation and using all of his tools perfectly to solve the situation LIKE A TRUE ASSASIN SHOULD. And somehow the animations being played are also so varied an on point. Liking this video and saving it to my playlist. Without a doubt, on of the best run I have seen in a while.
Fun fact: At 2:24 close your eyes and listen. Yeah, I was too looking away while eating and this played in my ears. I nearly spitted out the bite, like ayo, wtf ? What is on the screen ? 😛

Everything about this run is so good. Use of tools, the movement incorporating both tech and the flashy parts of Unity's fluid animations. Truly well made. Though I wish people would use the Beam to Wall Hang transition more in movement. Shit is so fluid and cool to look at that I don't know why people don't talk about it more

I was about to say this. Good job, this was done really good!
God this takes me back, when i first got the game, i was genuinly thinking of refunding it. Even after bug patches, parkour still felt twitchy. That was until something clicked, and i started to autistically learn every type of eject and try to get my parkour as efficient as possible. Thanks for reminding me of this game, im gonnna redownload it now. Ubisoft robbed us of what could've been the a quite good story, best parkour mechanics in an ac game because they wanted it done quicker.

parkour mechanics could have been so much better if they took more time designing the system and gave the player more control
Nah the Ezio trilogy still has the best parkour mechanics. You have perfect control over every single move in every single situation. Unity is the best visually for sure, mechanically it's great when it works, but the controls are still really inconsistent.

The MASTERY of the jumps and the wall ejects and the controls is amazing. This is probably one of the best demonstrations of AC Unity Parkour
I've never even seen these types of jumps know knew this was possible in the series. I skipped black flag, unity, and Rogue but caught Odyssey and Mirage.
The one handed elements, spins and wall ejects are completely foreign to me

- City sure is nice, but there is nothing to do, meaning its dead
- braindead NPCs
- 0 replay value
- Nothing to do after the story
- Boring combat
- Parkour is great, but very poorly made in terms of control
- Gear system is poorly made, you can’t really wear anything you want unless you want shitty stats

I completely understand the passion you put in this game. Back in the day I used to play this game non stop redoing missions to achieve some kind of stealth perfection :) And still I did not know some of mechanics you showed even existed

I loved this game glitchy or not, I Replayed it alot too ahah, it's my favourite assassin's creed! Then the community hated on it and they changed the game too much, now everyone loves it again 😅
Unity had the best parkour by far
It's funny, after playing a few hours of mirage I uninstalled it and reinstalled Unity. Really wish they didn't take such a drastic change in direction with the games, I loved this series even with all it's flaws. Still have fond memories of being a teenager and playing AC2 on my 360.

Wow man, I always loved this game, seems funny that this is the most accurate "assassin's" experience we will ever get. Parkour was insane, big amount of tools, the stealth/assassination system was so clean, just the game was released too early and people don't like bugs... Anyway, this is the best gameplay I ever seen, just perfect, amazing gameplay, everything was so smooth and calculated. Congrats bro!

As I’m playing assassin’s Creed syndicate right now I completely forgot how LOUD France was in Unity, absolutely loved that “real feel” of the crowds of the revolution

As they can put any mods on unity at will on pc, nothin can beat a pure dedicated AC player with this kind of skill "HANDS DOWN TO THIS PERSON".

Valhalla is one of the greatest games I've ever played but it is NOT an ac game, THIS actually is, one of the best ac ever in my opinion, the movement, the city,the ambience, the possibilities to act like a skilled assassin, such an underrated game

@@jarllim4713 the world really feels alive, it has lots of details, the music is masterpiece, the personalization of the character is amazing, the characters are good and you really empathize with most of them, the huge amount of different playstiles in fighting, the possibility of just get a horse in the middle of the night and get lost with the ambience and the music, the map is huge and is not just huge as you can find very detailed things wherever you go, the mission are jun not just going somewhere kill someone and that's it lots of them are curious things, you can raid abbey monasteries etc, you have a settlement which can be improved and it changes visually, you have different horses with great skins, you have the raven which is a good advantage but it is not broken (like this new AC mirage when you can like teleport or something wtf💩), some enemies are powerful and want to hunt you but u can kill em, you can go fishing,hunting, you have not just one map but two, i could tell you more but i think with this is enough to understand why this game is awesome but just doesn't feel like an AC game

Brilliant run- fast and efficient. This one took me an hour or two of sneaking and being a bit lost inside the Bastille back in the day.

Parkour in Unity is insane once you learn the mechanics. Tbh i struggled with it till the very end of my playthrough, but still i enjoyed it to some extent and ofc i enjoy when people doing all those crazy stunts seemingly effourtlessly

The way this city felt was never achieved by any other Assassins creed. Just the size of the buildings, the crowds, the sounddesign - it felt intense.

I really wish they brought back the coop assassin experience. Man it was so fun tagging along with a buddy timing and clearing out a room of enemies. Plus the game was just beautiful.
Did you know that you can still press search in multiplayer missions and get into a game in 10 seconds? it's insane.

I never mod. This is the base game.
Unity really captures the spirit of French revolutionary Paris really well, it's one of my favourite AC games by far. The soundtrack is underrated as well and goes in line with the French/revolutionary spirit. Been playing since it came out and luckily I never had much problems with bugs that others had so I've always liked the game.
The locals speaking with a cockney accent really adds to the immersion.

YO is that the phantom armor and if yes did you just do Helix missions until you got it or did you do something specific?
I can't remember how I unlocked it but yh I think it's to do with helix missions and collecting artifacts
At first I was like "How the hell do you play and assassins creed game for 1k hours", but dang, I never realized how slick unity was.
I know this game was flamed on launch for it's bugs, but there is no way in hell this wasn't the peak of Assassins Creed, the smoothness of the combat and assassinations, the movement control with the upward and downward control scheme, the assassination plotting and pre-quests.
This was the peak, and I hope some day we get games back that feel like this.
