Btw isn't Eivor a guy, wouldn't it be more logical for him to be a man? I don't know of a sage that has been reborn as the opposite gender. I may be wrong, so please correct me if it is the case.
Ezios was pretty good too it showed how ignorant and stupid he could be into growing into a great tactical assassin that was so good he is known all around the area and is highly looked upon as the greatest assassins alive
After Black Flag, I sort of checked out on the AC series. But Desmond Miles' death was certainly the saddest for me. He saw all of that past history, saw the future catastrophe, and gave himself up to stop it even though the world continued on and never even noticed. Bummer we never got to see Desmond go on to be a playable modern day assassin in a new game.
I think that was the original intent when 2 and Brotherhood were being developed. The present day segments where you used more and more assassin skills and some of the dev comments in interviews had many convinced that AC3 was going to be a present day only game where Desmond would have been assassin-ing all around New York or some other big city.
I checked out on AC after AC II... That ending was so stupid that it broke my devotion to the series completely. .3. Like... First there was this cool, pretty relatable story with sci-fi elements to it. But then, out of nowhere they mixed in gods and religion of ancient times that really had no place in this story from the get-go. Suddenly it wasn't about the assassins, or the templars anymore... But instead, some kind of plot by gods that are long forgotten. Nothing good can come out of that. xD
Altair: >Lost his mother at his birth >Lost his father because of a traitor >Lost his wife with his own hand >Lost his youngest son (?) from the son of his father's traitor >Died alone, shutting himself away And yet people dare tell me he was the boring one
Tbh he does have an interesting story but to just constantly give a character tragedies throughout their life and have one of the most unsatisfying deaths just ruins it imo. Most people enjoy character development with a satisfying closure at the end of their arc. Not to mention the gameplay of the first ac game was the least interactive and kinda dragged on in certain points of the game. Understandable cuz it was the first and since then they made the ac world much more interactive and expanded the lore which added to the story. But yeah Altair walked so the others can run.
@@KC-uk1kbBy that logic my friend…the consistently tragic story given to the character should make the following protagonists boring…not Altair’s…because he was the one who was introduced first.
Agreed…Altair was the most important and impactful Assassin through the entire franchise despite having only 1 main series game dedicated to him…a game which also was very short
I like how they retcon the death of Connor in the comics but then actually explained that it was a fabricated story by the evil corporation of that universe. It’s the better way to do it, using lore
I don’t agree with how they did Edward’s death…he would “clear the decks of galleons by himself” and was one of the most feared pirates in Caribbean…just to get stabbed in the chest during a home invasion? He was only 40 so it’s not like he was past his prime or anything…
The book explicitly states when he's fighting off the Templar thugs he is solely focused on protecting his family not his own safety. So it would be easy to see him being caught off guard and stabbed.
@@courier5156tragically makes sense, Edward was unable to save Blackbeard because he couldn't defend himself. And by the time he could make headway to him, it was too late. Edward seems single track minded, passionate to a fault about protecting those he loves, even to his own detriment
Edward Kenways story was just magnificent, and the line from Blackbeard saying "in a world without gold, we might have been heroes" has just stuck with me every since
If I recall, Ezio's death was actually more heartwarming and bittersweet; the man that sat next to him if I recall was a templar assassin sent to kill Ezio, but when he saw the condition Ezio was in, and during their conversation, he decided to just let him be, knowing that Ezio was passing away anyway, and that it wasn't right to take his life anyway. I believe both him and Ezio realised who each other were in those moments, which adds even more legend to Ezio's life. Edit: Also, I just remember, and I cannot confirm if this was true, but I think Ezio and the templar talked in a way that convinced the assassin that Ezio was not some villain of the templars the way they saw him, but instead saw him as a fellow man, or something like that. I believe this was something a comment in another video on Ezio's death said I saw a long while ago, so take that with a grain of salt.
@@lisabet_ why be disrespectful and rude when they were making a nice comment with more info, you want the source but can't tell that it's obviously the animated short film that's mentioned in the video that shows the two talking and Ezio dying?
I can't seem to find references to the man being a Templar? Reading in the book by Oliver Bowden, all it states is that when the young man grips Ezios wrist as he got the pain in his chest, Ezio noticed that the young man had a strong, familiar grip and expression, but nothing more than that. The young man then stood up, told Ezio to get some rest, and left. In the AC Embers short film, Ezio recognises the strength in the man's grip like in the novel, and the young man gives him a wry smile and nods before leaving, telling him to get some rest. Neither instance of the canon depictions of Ezio's death mention that the man was a Templar (although, the familiar strength might be an indicator of it, but that is just speculation), nor do they share more than four lines of dialogue with one another, three of which talk about Firenze (or rather, the young man hating Firenze, and Ezio telling him the problem doesn't lie with Firenze), and the last line being the man telling Ezio to rest.
Kassandra is my 2nd Fav but you cannot compare her with Altair, basically Altair achieved much much more also you will learn more about Altair in the books than from the game.@@1subto1
I think you forgot Adewale who was a protagonist in the standalone DLC of Black Flag called Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry. He's obviously only a minor protagonist, but considering how this is a video of every protagonist I feel he should have been included. Especially since we know how he died, being killed in Assassin's Creed Rogue by Shay Cormac
Was still sad to me, rogue and black flag are my first and second favorite games including freedom cry so playing as edward alongside adewale then playing as adewale in freedom cry only to kill him in rogue made it both fulfilling and incredibly sad
@@bosi1665 Yeah Freedom Cry was actually the first AC game I ever owned as I got it from PS plus. Always thought AC looked interesting and knew the general plot of AC1 and AC2, but Freedom Cry was the first time I actually got to play the franchise which is probably why I like it as much as I do today
They also forgot to list the modern day protagonist from Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, who died in Valhalla. And when he said “I hope they bring Desmond back”… they kinda have. He’s the one doing the calculations in the Grey
What makes Haytham's death so bittersweet is that he actually deeply loved Connor, as is implied in his novel in the form of Assassins Creed Forsaken. He wished to present the journal, which recorded everything from the raid on the Kenway house that resulted in Edward's death all the way to his final battle, to Connor for him to read so that he could understand who his father was and why he became who he was in hopes that one day he might forgive him. He presented the journal as the truth, for his own father Edward never lied to him, and saw fit that he preserve that custom. I wonder what was going on in Haytham's mind as he fought Connor, maybe he was hoping his son would kill him, since he definitely didn't have the heart to kill his own son even if he threatened his own Order. Oh and Connor did read the journal, he even wrote some entries in it, he wrote that he truly didn't understand who his father was up until he found the journal and that he misjudged him, but that it was too late to apologize to him. He even wrote in frustration to Haytham, saying that he has failed him, for he too failed in uniting the Assassins and Templars, but that it didn't matter because he will not give up in realising it.
@m1co294: Haytham didn't remove the Assassin's Symbol from his coat either did he, I think he had some respect for the Creed despite not being a member, Connor saw the world in a naive, black and white sense and Haytham wanted to teach him that the world wasn't like that and that a lot of people around him had an agenda, including Achilles whom we all know wanted payback for being crippled by Haytham in Rogue and no I don't think he would have killed Connor either, he was his son after all and heir.
Because not a lot of people actually care about the modern interludes. I went years ignoring Desmond because I literally cannot stand him or his friends. I only care about the past events like the majority of everyone else.
Nope, I found some time ago info that Connor died pretty young when he was 51 year old man... maybe he saw the beginning of Napoleon Empire, but that's it.
Awesome video but just a few corrections: - Arno Dorian eventually rejoined the Assassin Brotherhood after the Dead Kings DLC - Lydia Frye is actually Jacob's granddaughter
In Rogue, his transition is actually pretty much a no brainer. The Colonial Assassins inadvertently get thousands of Haitians killed through their pursuit of artifacts and then try to and almost succeed in killing Shay. Then he ends up making fast friends and alliances with enemies of the assassins through the family that nursed him back to health. And the Templars prove that their knowledge of the artifacts and how they preserve them would make them the safer option to obtain them. It actually makes a ton of sense why Shay would join the Templars if you play the game with an open mind. Plus every Assassin in that game is an absolute dick to Shay for no reason
Shay is also the most annoying protagonist in any AC game I've played. By the fourth or fifth time he says "I make my own luck" literally any time someone mentions it, I was sick of him completely. Atrocious writing for the dialogue.
I think it's also notable that the main theme of Rogue is how interchangeable the Assassins and Templars really are at the end of the day. While on paper, the Assassins are for personal liberty, in practice, they're every bit as controlling as the Templars they claim to oppose. Like it's literally why you're playing through Shay's memories in canon. Your boss has the pet theory that the Assassins and Templars are fundamentally identical organizations, and Shay is basically the single greatest piece of evidence he has of that fact.
i was looking for this comment, i absolutely loved Rogue and didn't get the hate for it. I honestly prefer Rogue's themes, ambiance and athmosphere than the more colorful Black Flag. Although i don't personally like Black Flag, i can see why people would like it and i have no issue with it. Shay has a special place in my heart, doing something no other assassin game did before that and giving us the perspective of a templar, how ideals change and how misinterpretation, greed and arrogance from the assassins' side can turn someone away from them
there's more to arno's story than what was said here. he decided to stay in france following the events of dead kings. he rejoined the assassins and worked his way up to master assassin. during this time, he was visited by bernard ruddock, an old acquaintance of elise's who told arno of a chest she used to own, which also contained some letters written by jennifer scott. arno tracked down the chest, which was in the possession of elise's teacher frederick weatherall. ruddock followed arno and revealed that he was working with the british templars and attempted to take the chest for himself, but was killed by elise's teacher. some of elise's friends then offered arno accommodation, with whom he stayed while continuing his work with the assassins. still nothing on how he died, but we do know he did indeed settle down and have a family since he is the ancestor of callum lynch from the movie. i believe the most likely scenario is he died peacefully with his family at his side.
Desmond is theoretically not dead cause he's the reader light in Valhalla with Layla (I've forgotten the name he's given) but the one where there searching different realities to prevent the tragedies
Ezio was by far my favorite character to play, brotherhood and revelations were honestly the best two AC games if I’m not counting black flag. Ezio was just the best character and the game mechanics were so much better like upgrading armor and stuff. Instead of just outfit changes. I miss the mechanic of having to upgrade your gear thru the progression of the game. Now it’s like you make it to a certain point and you just unlock and outfit like that’s no fun. Be cool if in the future they added a mechanic where we can make custom weapons
As for Desmonds fate and Layla's. Let's just say in Valhalla it all comes full circle. Also interesting modern characters would be Loki/Bassim. Even with the 5 minutes we get in Valhalla I immediately liked his character. So AC Mirage is liking him more.
I hate how he left that out. If he was true AC fan he would know that neither desmond or layla are dead. Only their physical forms are gone but their mind and souls are still alive and well.
I think a second game where they switch back and forth as a game mechanic with Aya and bayek that tells how she expanded the creed across the seas and he maintains Egypt
I like how you had the information of the Kenway house raid, what wasn't mentioned was the Templars took in Haythem, saying the Assassin's were to blame for his sister's kidnapping and when he was older he searched for his sister for years to no avail.
But Desmond is back. With Layla in Valhalla. I feel there will be a game relating to Desmond and Layla when they figured out to save the world and defeat Juno.
Juno already died. Ubisoft killed her off in a side comic after she gained a new clone body. Pretty much nobody but the most diehard fans even knew of the comics, especially since her absence is so jarring going from Syndicate to Origins and beyond.
@@AdderTude Agreed. It was a dumb move to finish the plot not in the game after Syndicate but in the comics instead. On the other hand, this means the Templar's Black Cross gets to be involved, and he's a cool character.
the ending from Rogue making Shay take out Arno's father was wasted, even if not as the main antagonist it would have been the best revenge story to see Arno killing Shay
Great video! If you saw the end of Valhalla though, you can see that Desmond is still alive inside the ancient machine that trapped Basim inside. Layla joins Desmond inside staying trapped, though she still has. A body and he does not. Basim would have to return and free her using the staff which I don’t see happening. I am glad Layla is gone though, I wasn’t a fan; but I would like to see Connor return along side Cassandra using the staff. We also need to see all the apples of Eden finally come together. Imagine if these artifacts resurrected the best of the best assassins we have seen on this list such as Ezio and Altire! I
Edward is my favorite And I think haytham let Connor kill him because haytham also has a hidden blade but he didn't use it So In my opinion haytham wasn't fully loyal to the Templars because if he was he would just kill Connor. Cesare killed his own father for Power and control
I do believe Haytham let Connor kill him as a final lesson as he would continue to grow as the man he was already proud of. With the infamous cut speech from the game we do hear Connor acknowledge he made wrong choices and Haytham was right in some situations but still hung on to his convictions I feel like Connor may be one of the Wisest protagonists but we have yet to get anything else from him.
Haytham was definitely loyal to the Templars. He was the grandmaster of the Templars in America. He just didn't want kill Connor for 2 reasons. Because Connor is his son and because he sees his younger self in Connor. When Haytham was in his 20s or so, he realised that the Templars and Assassins had the same goals and hoped that they could work together. The older he grew, the more he realised that could not happen. I'm pulling from the Forsaken book (journal of Haytham) and it has been a while since I have read it so I may be wrong on some things.
i feel for a story about people fighting an oppressive new world order, too many of the assassins lived to be old. i know were following the best but even the best are killed at young ages.
Ik the series isnt realistic but realistically most of these guys would die in their 30s-40s at the latest with some luck based exceptions. Their line of work and the damage it does to the body would lead to death by natural causes or being bested by a younger templar
Bayek and amunet were the ones who started the creed the Templars weren't templars at the time they were order of the ancients the templars were finally given the name templar in eivors part of the timeline aya or amunet is given as one of the best assassins and her statue is in ac2 along with future protagonists they kinda left every character open ended bc of the future part especially when we didn't get to new future/present day protagonist until Layla
I love the video. Just want to say one thing. AC1 was the first game in the series, but it wasn't chronologically first in the timeline. That would go to AC: Odyssey where the Order of Assassins is called The Hidden Ones. Love all the other information of all the Assassins and keep it up!
I’d actually think Evie getting her own sequel set in India with Henry would be the best option for a known protagonist to have a sequel. Same character, new setting. It’s almost too perfect.
Eh, about Shay, his turn wasn't hasty in the traditional sense. Triggering a massive earthquake in Lisbon and your own Grandmaster not taking that in account when finding other sites that would do the same will certainly do that. They might have leaned a bit into Irish stereotypes but Shay was a bit hotheaded and he had to wrangle with a lot of guilt over what happened in Lisbon. I also think he was chafing under Achilles before then as well (been too long since I only played Rogue once). Lisbon was just the final straw. An estimated 12,000 dead final straw. That is a lot of ghosts on Shay's conscience.
The young man on the bench is a Templar, there to ensure Ezio's death. It's up for debate whether he died of a heart attack like Ubisoft's canon, or whether the young man had a direct hand in it. But you can see that the young man has a Templar cross on his right-arm vambrace and the interaction once Ezio says "I don't think Firenze is your problem" is very suspicious; he grabs Ezio's hand as he struggles. He says "courage, old man" and nods knowingly after a look of realisation washes over Ezio's face. And remember this is animated - it was very intentionally done this way. At the very least it's ambiguous.
3:00 in the book Ezio dies of natural causes on that bench. It was also around his birthday if i remember correctly. It has been a few years now. He does meet asian assassins right before.
I want to die as I live, trying to pass on knowledge and showing my care. In this case, leaving some last words and ordering that apon me feeling my end near, I would order those if any around, to leave the room and only call paramedics an hour later. This is for a simple reason, I have seen death countless times and noticed something cruel. Although not intended or atleast not directly, wishing to be surrounded by loved ones in your end is the most selfish choice possible and the most damaging. Why would I want my spouse or kid or kin to see my end? So everytime they think of me they think "God rest his soul?", to that I say "hell is cold compared to such a thought", I much rather see my end as the dork that loved those close and gave words of wisdom I learned from my many mistakes because I know one thing. My suffering there is temporary as it's soon to end but theirs, their suffering will last a lifetime.
Though Ezio is the most popular (deservingly so because of the longest time spent with him)….Altair’s story was the best. Assassin training from the age of 9…died at the age of 94…went through loss of father at age of 11….then success…heartbreak…promotion…arrogance…demotion…change in character and thinking process…rise to Grand Master (youngest in the history)…burden of rebuilding the Assassin’s Order all over the world…loss of authority to Abbas…loss of youngest son…loss of wife…loss of purpose…burden of the Apple…rise to leadership…burden of securing the future for modern Assassins (including Ezio)…loss of Masyaf castle…pain of saying goodbye to only remaining son…last man standing guarding the Assassin’s at the age of 94! No Assassin ever had a more impacting story (not even Ezio’s)…or one which left the greatest legacy…than Altair Ibn La Ahad. Shawn Hastings in AC Revelations wrote: ‘ If one man was responsible for the success of the modern Assassins…it was this guy…Altair Ibn La Ahad’. Berg (Templar Master)…mentioned how pivotal Altair was in the history of Assassins vs Templars fight: ‘Had Altair not killed his mentor Al-Mualim and reformed the brotherhood…the Assassins and Templars wouldn’t be fighting today’…in other words…without Altair…Assassins would have been corrupted and overwhelmed by the Templars. Altair not only ensured that the Brotherhood survived…but also that it thrived across the globe. Requiescat in Pace…El-Mentor…The Eagle…The GOAT…Altair Ibn La Ahad!
I love that they keep them open ended, and don't end their story with their death. It keeps the option to always come back into their story for some adventure. I would honestly love to have another story for Edward telling about his older years leading up to the death. Or some stories about Connor training the next crop of assassins, or even being a mythical folklore after the events that get people fearing him like they did in his fake death.
A few things I wanted to add in. Desmond is also related to Haytham Kenway, Edward Kenway, and Conner as well. They state, in some of the records you can hack in "Black Flag" how they recovered Desmond's body and had been using his DNA. That's actually why "YOU" are there as a "Game Tester". It's actually Ancestors of Desmond they had managed to extract via his DNA. Also, you went so far as to mention Valhalla and Layla, but didn't describe her Death. Having been given the Staff she goes to investigate Yggdrasil as she is the only that can survive the radiation. After slowing the machine down to stop the overheating of the Earth, she ends up staying with the "Reader", who sounds and looks like Desmond. in order to help with figuring out how to stop the Earth destruction for good. (Yes I left a lot out. It's a lot)
Funny how in Rogue, it is told that connors father got the blades from his father. And i also didnt know that master kenway was the same guy from ac3, that is very interesting. Also how at the end on rogue it shows shay sparing achillies. A choice that later ended up killing kenway
idk what you're on about, Ac3 takes place after Rogue if you forgot so it makes sense why Achilles is partially injured during Ac3, struggling to walk without a cane
@@shadesensei I think what he's saying is if Shay killed Achilles instead of just crippling him, there would be no one to teach Connor. Meaning Haythem never dies in Boston. At least that's what I'm thinking he was trying to say, idk it was hard to read. I had a stroke
Fun fact: the guy who was beside ezio was a Templar ready to kill him until he found out ezio was really old. So, he got up and pressed on his shoulder and yk the rest
This isn’t a big deal but when he said that Evie and Jacob are the ideal sibling assassins. I was just thinking about how the entire story is about them not being the ideal siblings
Honestly it is pretty interesting that despite beeing assassins almost All of them died by natural causes, even for Kassandra you can say that this is just her age catching up. So. Basicaly we only have Edward who dies 100% by murder
Shay dying of old age is such a lost opportunity. Imagine if Arno was able to track him down and kill him. That would be such a good ending to Assassin's Creed Unity (not the story end, but maybe a dlc ending).
I've seen some say Ezio was assassinated by that other young man on the bench that he stabbed and poisoned him to finish him off basically, that if you listen close there is the stabbing sound.
It honestly drives me insane how Eivor is constantly referred to as "her" by everyone even though its supposed to be a character that can actually be either male or female while Odyssey was actually supposed to be Kasandra the whole time. To me Eivor is a male and SHOULD be a male considering he is supposed to be the reborn Odin. Who was a freakin man!
@@ghostwolf94 as far as i remember Eivor is a gender neutral name of Scandinavian origin. Could absolutely be wrong on that, but who knows. Either way it ruined the story for me to find out they gender swapped Odin and used reincarnation as an excuse to do so. If you're going to base your character as the reincarnation of a male god it should 100% be a canonically male character. Didn't even finish the game because of that.
A fan idea I had for the deaths. Connor: Connor dies during the war of 1812, a new Templar order had taken over the United States to which Connor discovered. During the battle of New Orleans, Connor is killed by future president Andrew Jackson. Aveline also dies during the war of 1812, but is due to illness (from traveling) as the Templar order forcing her to flee to Canada. Arno: Arno would play a part in France. He would maintain the assassin brotherhood during the napoleonic wars. Once it ended, he would rebuild the French brotherhood but die during the Franco-Prussian war. Shay cormac would have a family and grandchildren. But in his retirement in New York, Shay would develop tuberculosis and fight it for years. Arno would find Shay suffering and because of it, decides to leave Shay alone. That’s what I thought of so far.
Shay’s turn to Templar was always dumb to me. He didn’t like that the assassins took the pieces of Eden and caused disasters to keep the templars from them so they can’t use it to control people’s freewill, so instead he took the pieces of Eden for the Templars to use to control people and still caused disasters.
To be fair, the Assassins tried to kill him after treating him like shit, and all the Templars ever did was respect him. Plus I dont remember the Templars causing disasters in that game. Just the assassins and then them not caring about it
@@jaxoncooper3354 they didn't but as far as I remember, but they were going after the same artifacts as the assassins which would cause the same effect when the items were taken from their chamber
One of the main themes of Rogue is that the Assassins and Templars are pretty much interchangeable. They, fundamentally, are both corrupt organizations using their influence to direct humanity down their chosen path. Shay chooses the Templars, not because he aligns with them ideologically, but rather because he sees the Assassins at the time as being the worst of the two options. A belief that is, I'd say, somewhat justified in text, as the Assassins are directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of innocents over the course of that game.
The Assassin's creed forgotten temple is a manhwa of what happened to kenway later on after the story the birth of hathan was way later after the story of Assassin's creed forgotten temple
Just getting into Mirage. Taking a break because Spider-Man 2 lol. Really hoping Basim starts acting like his Loki self at some point. I want to see his transformation into crazy lol
Other than gender politics at Ubisoft, why is canon Eivor female? We see all the Isu reincarnate as the sex they were when they died, since they are basically kinda cloned. So why is Odin male and canonically Eivor female?
In Unity, there is one co-op mission that takes place during the reign of Napoleon. Thin leads to the impression that Arno eventually rejoined the Brotherhood
I just realized Desmond is related to altiar, ezio, Connor, Edward, and haytham. ( also the village eivor visits In Vinland is the same on that Connor is from )
Chronological order does NOT mean order of game release. It means order of events. I am sick of every list I see on every game or movie series lazily putting it all in release order and pretending it's chronological.
I’ll never forget the first time I tired the Xbox 360. I think it was around 2007 or 08” the first game I played was the first Assassin’s Creed, I was blown away.
Edward is definitely my favourite. I like all the other characters and their stories but nothing hit me harder than realising that Edward actually had a story after black flag. (I didn’t even know that he died until watching this.)
No, according to the sources, the young guy is nobody. He doesnt have a name, and likely, was never truly there. They have the same lip scar and talk exactly like ezio in the begining. Its likely that the man was Ezio's mind conjuring a past version of himself as he died. His canonical death is a heart attack
@TheHiddenOne690 Of course he was. Guy has a Templar bracer on his wrist and touches Ezio with the same hand at the exact time he flinches in pain. We already know the templars have assassins with them. Definitely poisoned. You live as an assassin, you die as an assassin. Watch it again.

He is boring. He's also in the most boring of the og Assassin's Creed games.
@@calamity916False. He is the most important Assassin in the history of the franchise

That's a nice recalling @thefiresworddragon927 why don't you back it up with a source?
@@lisabet_ did you not read the comment at all?
@@lisabet_ why be disrespectful and rude when they were making a nice comment with more info, you want the source but can't tell that it's obviously the animated short film that's mentioned in the video that shows the two talking and Ezio dying?
@@lisabet_💀
And yet Altair's death remains the most impressive and at the same time sad...

BEST DLC EVER
@michaelbarclay7267 the gray ? I loved the Desmond story line I never knew they brought hit back. What's the gray ?
I hope one day the two factions team up and take on a common enemy or enemy faction of sorts, so who knows tbh

It could be argued that the assassin's being assholes might be from Abstergo editing the memories we play through to put them in a bad light
Shay is also the most annoying protagonist in any AC game I've played. By the fourth or fifth time he says "I make my own luck" literally any time someone mentions it, I was sick of him completely. Atrocious writing for the dialogue.
@@AdderTude I make my own atrocious dialogue
Desmond is theoretically not dead cause he's the reader light in Valhalla with Layla (I've forgotten the name he's given) but the one where there searching different realities to prevent the tragedies
that's still a theory but I wish it's Desmond

Ezio was by far my favorite character to play, brotherhood and revelations were honestly the best two AC games if I’m not counting black flag. Ezio was just the best character and the game mechanics were so much better like upgrading armor and stuff. Instead of just outfit changes. I miss the mechanic of having to upgrade your gear thru the progression of the game. Now it’s like you make it to a certain point and you just unlock and outfit like that’s no fun. Be cool if in the future they added a mechanic where we can make custom weapons
First will always be the best. The spin offs were aight tho
I think there's something beautiful in that some protagonist can end life from natural causes
As for Desmonds fate and Layla's. Let's just say in Valhalla it all comes full circle.
Also interesting modern characters would be Loki/Bassim. Even with the 5 minutes we get in Valhalla I immediately liked his character. So AC Mirage is liking him more.

And I think haytham let Connor kill him because haytham also has a hidden blade but he didn't use it

@@Kaylosteez it was a hard life for him
I do believe Haytham let Connor kill him as a final lesson as he would continue to grow as the man he was already proud of.
The Hidden Ones don't exist in Odyssey. Aya and Bayek created the Order and the Creed in Origins.
I’d actually think Evie getting her own sequel set in India with Henry would be the best option for a known protagonist to have a sequel.
Same character, new setting. It’s almost too perfect.
I like how most of these can be summed up as “Not sure, but MAYBE old age?”

The man wasn't real. He was a hallucination of a young Ezio that went down a darker path. It was the heart attack that killed him
3:00 in the book Ezio dies of natural causes on that bench.
It was also around his birthday if i remember correctly. It has been a few years now.

I’m glad ezio went out peacefully with his heart exploding, the way we all want to go lol
I want to go in my sleep honestly. I'd just never wake up and never even know I died, for better or worse.
Ezio was poisoned by that man by a hidden blade, rewatch that scene it can be seen in an small frame.
It wasn't fate that brought Shay to the assassins. He makes his own luck.
I'd have also included Adewale but nice video nonetheless!

That’s what I thought of so far.
well, altair had two games too, not only ezio.
Ngl, with Nexus coming, we could learn more on Kassandra's story
A belief that is, I'd say, somewhat justified in text, as the Assassins are directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of innocents over the course of that game.
yuppers @@Mr.Monacle
Shay is probably my 3rd favorite main character, behind evie & Kassandra
The Assassin's creed forgotten temple is a manhwa of what happened to kenway later on after the story the birth of hathan was way later after the story of Assassin's creed forgotten temple
Everyone dies meanwhile basim: “evil laughs”
Just getting into Mirage. Taking a break because Spider-Man 2 lol. Really hoping Basim starts acting like his Loki self at some point. I want to see his transformation into crazy lol
Man, Black Flag is such an underrated game. Just watching the part about Edward Kenway wants me to go back and replay it.
Other than gender politics at Ubisoft, why is canon Eivor female? We see all the Isu reincarnate as the sex they were when they died, since they are basically kinda cloned. So why is Odin male and canonically Eivor female?
Just read the first part of what you wrote. No other reason lol
Eivor is a female name. But a male character fits vallhala better
In Unity, there is one co-op mission that takes place during the reign of Napoleon. Thin leads to the impression that Arno eventually rejoined the Brotherhood
The guy who sat next to Ezio seemed suspicious to me when I saw Embers all that time ago. I don't think he had nothing to do with it
Kinda wild that kassandra was around for that long yet somehow didnt get rid of the templars or atleast greatly hinder their growth😭
I just realized Desmond is related to altiar, ezio, Connor, Edward, and haytham.
( also the village eivor visits In Vinland is the same on that Connor is from )
That's the whole premise of the game bro
Sigurd gave eivor the position of jarl and then eivor dipped to Vinland and never came back😂😂😂😂
@@emmanuelhernandez396 yeah its petty to arba abandon your clan
I want an assassins creed game that's set in ancient China (14th-18th century)
Assassins Creed is basically a story of genetic lottery 😂
Chronological order does NOT mean order of game release. It means order of events. I am sick of every list I see on every game or movie series lazily putting it all in release order and pretending it's chronological.
Yeah we need to see better explanations of characters deaths. Better yet we need to see better games in this franchise. AC: Odyssey anyone.
@@ac_nerd9794"b-b-b-but it's no assassin's Creed"

My favorites were the Ezio games and Black Flag. Black Flag was the last AC game i really enjoyed.
I always thought that the guy from the bench assassinated ezio
He did
Dude don’t pay attention to to detail in the movie you even hear the sound of a blade when he touch ezio
Yes then I did remembered it right
Assassin's Creed: Embers, sure was a beautiful swansong of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. It was like saying last goodbye to an old friend.
For me, it's Kassandra giving her Immortality to Layla...then Valhalla happens and. Well. The writers conveniently "oopsie".
So, kassandra saw al those wars going on, some of these beloved protagonists died, and she tried nothing to intervene?
I want more of Kassandras story!
She got as much story in one game as Ezio got in 3
I’ll never forget the first time I tired the Xbox 360. I think it was around 2007 or 08” the first game I played was the first Assassin’s Creed, I was blown away.
Edward is definitely my favourite. I like all the other characters and their stories but nothing hit me harder than realising that Edward actually had a story after black flag. (I didn’t even know that he died until watching this.)
so did that guy poison him or what?? 3:35
Nope ezio died from a heart attack the guy didn't feel the need to kill him due to how frail he looked
I always thought the guy was death
Guy yapped so much that Ezio died
Bro, Ezio was assassinated. That guy on the bench with him was a Templar.
No.
