Guard: "Huh, a dragon. You don't see _that_ every day. Oh wow, he's coming this way. Hey little fella, what's your name? I don't see a collar, must be a str-" **DRAGONGLOMP!**
Plot twist: that guy is the only one responsible for keeping Xbox Live online. Every time it went down in the past was just because he's just a bit thick.
7:58 I love that that guard was watching the dragon the entire time it was coming for him. Edit: this is also an excellent case of 'fuck you in particular.'
7:50 This is my most favorite clip in ever, the way he watches the dragon in the sky slowly comes to get him. Then the way he gets yoinked as his shield and sword stays upright for a second of where he stood before falling over is the most comedic masterpiece to ever happen in a video game.
7:37 I love that I have no idea what is truly being said but because I've played skyrim so much, I'm confident that I know what was said. "dragons could be anywhere" or "gotta keep an eye out for dragons" and the "i have a letter for you" - but because the courier talks so much it's prolly the dark brotherhood letter.
Out of all the one off episodes, this is one I want to be a series the most. I always chuckle every so often in Idiot's and game fails, but this one.. This vid was special. I almost couldn't stop the whole way through.
The Oblivion one with the guard stuck at the wooden door kinda reminds me of Leslie Nielsen s comedy, like getting stuck and fighting with a door then after a few seconds with the camera showing something else, getting back normally after traversing it x) pure gold
7:02 This reminded me of how good Call of Duty campaigns used to be. The writing and gameplay weren't anything fancy, but they complimented each other so well. You don't often see that kind thematic coherence in games anymore, especially FPS games. Now it's like every charachter on your side is an infallible and witty hero with quirky one-liners.
never really played cod but I just kinda looked at this dialogue like who tf expects the machine gunner to carry ammo they got guys for that since they carry that big fuckin thing
I recently played CoD 1 and was shocked at how good it is and how well it aged compared to other military shooters of the same era. There are moments that feel so real, like being pinned down behind a wall with a Tiger suppressing you.
8:12 Sadly that sounds like some of the more dumb conversations i have inside my head that has some of my family ask why the giggles. Actually hearing a dumb convos play out do i realize how stupid it sounds which only makes me giggle more.
I was playing rdr2 and drinking whiskey in Armadillo when it sounded like an NPC gunfight so i ran outside to investigate to find a player caught up in a mission at the train station killing dozens of enemies and throwing dynamite, i then went back inside with a stray bullet shattering the window next to me when the bartender said in a calm voice "rethink about going outside did ya?"
sometimes I just love having perfectly timed lightning strikes in video games when in diologe with npcs. its like " how you doing ?" random npc says : me " just peachy. " with having 5 hp after nearly dying to a lightning strike for the 30th time lol

The fact I know what games these are really shows how unique each game looks. It's when your game is confused with another that isn't part of your franchise or studio, you've got a problem.
My main memory of oblivion is being knee deep in lava trying to get out, and a guardsman apparently chased me through the portal to tell me I was under arrest.

I was searching for this video for soooo long!
You could hear his inner voice saying "Well, that can't be good." But he didn't want to interrupt the conversation. Poor, polite bastard.
