Your starting to look like your dad , I really want to get back into making signs again , reasons why I don’t is cause I got a job where I work 7 days a week 10 to 12 hour shifts and main reason is cause it’s not easy to find wood to use where I’m from , I can’t juss take a drive to my nearest lumber yard , but hey I juss finally bought myself a dewalt DWP611 palm router when I flew out of town to start making again .
like the different edges. i usually use the beveled, and scalloped edges i .like the random edge signs. will have to make a few and see how the sell.thanks again for a very informative video.
So many edges, so many choices. Imagination is a wonderful thing. No matter you choice always be safe. If you think you might need safety glasses, gloves, aprons, etc., then you should put them on, there's a reason you thought about it! Stay safe my friends.
Liked when Ryan spoke of “flying to hit wife or dod…” last scene with the angle grinder it made me think there was a line edited out when Eric said, “ here Son, hold my coffee and watch this”

Thank you Sheila
Thanks, guys! :)

Nice demo! I use the angle grinder with a flap disc for the rustic edge, it`s a little less aggressive.
Ya, that flap disc is a great way to do your edges, too. But I gotta say, that disk sander is my favorite, so far.
Broken edge is my favorite it could use scallops also
I definitely prefer the broken edge. It has such a cool look to it.
Great vid
Thanks buddy!
Thank you
Our pleasure, buddy!

Thanks buddy. We have some bloopers we'll put all together one of these days...
What base plate is on the DeWalt cordless router you are using. I have that router and can’t find one that fits
That's our baseplate that we designed. Here's a link to it makeawoodsign.com/products/acrylic-router-base-plate-for-dewalt-dwp611
