Hope you and Vicki and all the crew enjoyed Denver. I’m thinking in the next couple of weeks (after our picket fence project) of setting up a drying area under our house. Thank you for sharing.
I wish both or either were available here in Massachusetts. A couple years ago, Lowes switched to Pressure treated Southern Yellow Pine. No redwood here, cedar is expensive, so I use mostly poplar. Poplar is a little more then clear pine, 1 x 6 x 6 poplar is $17.25. 1 x 6 x 6 clear pine is $15.50, 1 x 6 x 8 cedar is $28.
Sounds like slim pickens. If you're in an area where wood fences are you might check with local fence builders for their cut offs. Also local cabinet makers sometimes will sell their scraps.
@@oldave100 I get some left overs from a local portable saw mill guy. But need to dry them and I never know what he will have. I have some ceder and oak drying now.

5.29 for cedar pickets at Lowes in Ohio and W Va.
Thank you!!!
Once the board warps, can it be fixed?
Yes. You can put weight on the board overnight and a lot of times it'll flatten the board out
Where is the Denver Road show? I live in the Denver area. Thanks.

Cypress is bad about moving. It will move on you will carving. Lol
