Again, perfect review. I have always been interested in Fenix but other videos do not reveal torch attributes I've reviewed. I will be watching for more Fenix reviews here!
That is a very nice looking flashlight. Fenix beam profile is also my favorite. Too small for me. Might drop out of my pocket without me realizing. Thanks for another good review. Unlike some other reviewers that have bad cameras and make lights look less than a hundred lumens. I've also noticed a lot of olight fanboys tweak fenix and any other brand they compare to their olight. I saw about 3 videos where they made it seem the fenix pd36r had little to no flood, while their olight which is known for having little spill, which is also a very dim spill, had better spill in their comparison. I appreciate your reviews. Thanks for sharing.
Just ordered an e28r, went for the USB c charger over the magnet because I don't trust myself not to lose the charger, my phone uses USB c and I want to be able to charge at work and home... Your review is giving me fomo, although the e30r is $20 more...
Charles, do you know of another Fenix light or other brand with such a great beam profile? The spill on this light is sick! I love it! Thank you for another great review.
Hi Charles, I have a Fenix TK61 (old school) that uses 4 x 18650. What battery can I upgrade to? I like the 21700 but the dimensions are different. Is there a size equivalent upgrade available?
Hi nice review sir..!! I do have some questions of you mind..: i had a pd36r but i lost it at work... so i am planning to buy a new fenix light... I’m looking for small packet torch light so i have 2 models in my mind. It’s the PD40R or E30R... for me personally my beam has to be wide (more flood beam) and not as bright and very concentrated straight forward beam. What is your recommendation ?? I do understand here that de E30R have lower battery life then te PD40R but i saw some reviews already on UA-cam and personally i think that PD40R has also a great wide floods beam... can you give me some advice sir... thank you keep up great work
I would get the new PD35R which runs on a 21700 cell or the E30R which runtimes are very good with the 3500mAh cell included with it. Thanks for watching!
Charles BridgTec thanks for your quick reply. You ment the pd36r right? Because you mentioned pd35... ya the downside on the E30R it has no memory feature...and for me is also runtime on turbo important of you ha e only 30 sec on turbo it’s not good it’s to short on runntime so what you think sir ? 2nd question difference between pd36r and PD40R stronger beam and that new turn switch but PD40R don’t have memory feature right because of that new turn switch is that correct sir ?
Again, perfect review.

Did you also catch his review of the Fenix PD40R V2? I picked one up and it's awesome.

I need to know if the lens is glass or plastic material? Is the lens scratch resistant? Is the tail magnetic? Please reply.

You should buy OEM button top cells. Check out IMRBatteries.com for they have a huge selection on 18650 cells. Check out the Samsung 35E.
@@CharlesBridgTec Thank you Charles, will do. I see the name Samsung floating around the flashlight world.
what about burning time, recharge time... anything??
Yep I posted specs in my review. Did you watch it?
