The outside attachment is an absolute deal-breaker, if it wasnt for that i wouldve definitely bought it. Wouldve loved to somehow put thos in my bumper or grill.
I made my own infrared system years and years ago. Wasn't very expensive, but no pedestrian/vehicle software of course and video display was clunky. And not in color since it didn't do thermal. You can buy your own infrared emitters if you want to increase range. But no huge, ugly sensor on the roof either. Everything was in the grille. But the problem is where do you look? You can't look at the screen all the time. You need to be looking out the windshield. That's what's great about the alerts on the modern devices.
Im getting these popup all over my insta, the cameras looks a lot smaller than this and clip to the windshield end of the bonnet/hood. Thanks for the video!
Its actually amazing how well and how fast the AI works on this system picking up vehicles and people, no doubt animals too, very very fast! Id try it without the AI to see if the false alerts stop.. Too many trees would being lit up for me
Been using Infiray NV2 now for a year. Would be great to have this NV300 to be installed the same way to the grill somehow, because magnet and sticker is not going to hold at roof here in Finland when it's snowing, raining and -38'C🤔 This NV300 has much better options and settings than NV2
@@tysonfinn1470 NV2 has been good but the screen is small, too bright and cannot be streamed to a bigger screen. But it works well 👍 Camera installation is super nice, fast and looking good on front of the car. Im not sure is the NV300 Max model only having this bulky roof camera installation, and the normal NV300(not max) same style camera installation as the NV2. Got to find out more. Anyways NV300 is more useful than NV2 because wifi streaming to a phone screen. I dont know can the Max model stream to the phone or only to its own screen
Will I be able to find someone to install this? Took the car for rustproofing and they removed the dashcam mirror, car was 100% paid for no loan! Pretty sure that's thief! Went back and their telling me the car doesn't come with it? Toyota Camry 22 video shows that it works with the radar & pre collision system! Not sure how to prove it😢
Thanks for the video! I’m looking at a car night vision device to help spot deer before they run into my path. I’m exciting to find the NV300 max at your video, it seems still clear of the image at high speeds. I deliver for Grubhub, and it’s pretty dark in some of these areas. How helpful of your video and I thinking it could be a great addition to my car. Gonna buy one! Is there any discount?
Could be interesting,if connected with Android auto without external screen

The website states that it can be linked to the native car touchscreen. How is it going to be since Android Auto and Apple CarPlay don't allow video apps.
Wow that would be asking for trouble where I live. Mounted on the outside of the car people you steal it or damage the car and /or camera. Don't forget to that since it's fixed permantly to the car insurance company may consider it a modification
I ownseveral thermal cameras, and bought a FLIR Pathfindir II, which saved my car last Nov from a deer collision here in Florida The only weakness is that the software adjusts the wrong way in rain, and makes the image darker, where my handhelds actually give me full control and let me adjust the span, so i have no issues in rain. Aside from that, the 2500 price was annoying. I am aware infiray offers a $600 option for cars at the time of this comment, but their resolution is not as high, . What is the resolution of this one? It seriously matters, when you need to pick out critters a mile down the road, and my Pathfinder's 320*240 is decent, wish I had 384*288 or 640*480.( my handheld Thermal cameras are this high, and they see A LOT, but they aren't mounted to my car. ..)
Does this have to hook up to the included screen or can I hook it to my front camera input on my head unit? Does it have to mount on the roof or can I put it in the grille and run wires through the cowl ?
Price should be affordable for poor people with a vehicle!!!! Will it work in the grill instead?? Send me buying info or is it in the video bio? THANKS
@@MikesCarInfo I often drive through the forest at night and regularly see deer , i've had many close calls with them . They tend to dart out in front of you , unfortunately it happened to me a few nights ago , about 100 yards in front of me about 6 deer ran across the road , i slowed down anticipating there might be more , i continued driving slowly and it was all clear in front of me , then suddenly i heard an almighty bang from the off/side of my car , a deer slammed into my car , didn't see it , just the loud bang . I pulled over and looked around , no deer anywhere , my driver door and rear off/side passenger door has multiple deep dents . Thanks for your reply . The benefits of this technology is a must , in the name of road safety , it would greatly cut the number of animal deaths with this warning system , and insurance claims , but the cost needs to be affordable to the average driver . @Kevin-zm7wk Once released, i think this one will be around $600-$700. Like I mentioned in the video, if you compare this with the Flir systems that cost around $3000 and require expensive installation, then this is much more affordable.
Speaking as somebody who owns the FLIR pathfinder II, and collects multiple thermal cameras, flir stopped selling it last summer. so now infiray, speedir, nightrideio, etc are all that's left...
It will launch at $399.
that is so cooool! It's more affordable than I thought.😝
$399? Gonna buy it!!
Great product and price-worth to give it a try!
Where do we go to buy this.
The outside attachment is an absolute deal-breaker, if it wasnt for that i wouldve definitely bought it.

The way it is mounted, is a deal killer
I would remove the camera from the housing and mount it in the grill area. It would take some ingenuity, but it would hide it better.

thank you for the video. this is Sonny from thermal master official
I appreciate you watching!

The inner camera system is quite smaller than the plastic housing so it should fit in the grill area. 3:03
How is the nv2?

See the pinned comment, it's $399 now!! Early bird price!!

Maybe with a trick, there is a video how to bypass the infoteinment device with a cable in the unit
Another way could be that you have a wireless converter like an AI box and conect the device wireless, but just saying
Imagine how many lives could be saved if car manufacturers had to put this on every car I think could give up an accessory for that
Not as many as if you just don’t overdrive your headlights at night. 😂
None !! 😂
does it beep if you are close to hitting someone or something?
Yes, you can turn the audio alerts on and off in the settings.

I wonder if the image feed can be ported to larger auxiliary screen

Really looks great! what's the price plz ? And where I can get it ?
Link in the description. It hasn't been released yet, but you can sign up to be notified when it does.
Not BAD AT ALL , but question, will it get freeze when snow ?
I don't have experience with that 😀
I had an NV2 (still do) and ordered this. The NV2 had a defrost/defogger function that worked pretty good, this says it has something similar.
Can the unit also be placed behind the Grill... With all the robbery going on....I don't want it on top of the car?
It feels like the one on the top of the car will get the best vision.
Can it be integrated to the pre collision on the car? Like the abs brakes?
No, and I wouldn't want to do that because there are too many false positives
interesting, looks easy to install right ?
Yes, I think most people could install it fairly easily.
How long is the boot up time on the display?
about 20 seconds
Price should be affordable for poor people with a vehicle!!!! Will it work in the grill instead?? Send me buying info or is it in the video bio? THANKS
Any idea when it will be launched?
It's launched already with early bird price!Gonna buy one!
It had launched already , with charming early bird price!
@Jesi-j5z 0:
Can it not be mounted on the inside of the car on the dash?
No, thermal imaging does not work through glass. All you would get is the temp of the glass.
Is there a subscription for this? If so$
No subscription.
Do you find yourself watching the screen as opposed to the actual road?
Yes, it could be a problem for an undisciplined/unexperienced person like a new driver.
Making visible blacked-out state troopers and other animals that might lie in ambush :-)
The resolution or lack of is a huge no for me.
If they make this so it is not outside my car (theft) and can make it connect to my OEM screen, I am in.
That is what the Flir system does. See my Jeep Grand Cherokee video.
In my opinion , the thermal viewing angle needs to be 180°
@javc7433 Someone might make something like that, but it would cost $15,000 or more.

Same thing happened to me.
Says its a fraction of the cost, 1/2 isn't much of a fraction at MSRP lmfao
Fraction of the cost of a $3,200 (+install) Flir system.
The outside mounting is a definitely NO NO for me….
I would remove the camera from the housing and mount it in the grill area. It would take some ingenuity, but it would hide it better.
Is that Chinese thing ?
Yup
"Fushion mode" 🙄
There is no price, so how can it be affordable? Their other devices cost 600 or more
