Well, another masterpiece from the master himself! Once again, This project displayed all the skills you possess. I loved the green and gold colors you chose. ❤ I was happy to see Avril as he inspected the work. He seems like he is a good supervisor. 😂 Thanks for all you do and keep bringing us great content! You are super talented and I can hardly wait for the next video! 😊
I swear these videos are like therapy.. So calming and peaceful while still being fascinating. It's so wonderful to watch someone with so much talent care and restore things that would otherwise go to waste. Thank you for these
There’s nothing you can’t do! This is remarkable. Most people would’ve discarded this I never would’ve dreamed that you could repair the pot metal base
Excellent work and beautiful finished product, as always. Reminded me of living at my parents’ home: my mother used an antique coffee grinder which was mounted to the kitchen wall directly below my bedroom. Spent much of my childhood waking up to the sound of my mother grinding her morning coffee beans directly below my head 😂
Coincidence! My son recently told me that when he was a teenager, the sound of me grinding coffee in the morning meant that he had to finally get out of bed if he wanted to get to school on time.
Merci infiniment.
I love these types of honest resto videos. They are always in frame of "one million litres of CRC later" because that is a truth. I have done some of this type of stuff and well... Two cans later. I had my car's bolts loosened.
This restoration is so uplifting and heartwarming, with a cup of fresh ground coffee for a happy ending. Plus, Avril is the cutest, cuddliest overseer as always. 😀👍
The beauty, ingenious craftsmanship and functionality of these original machines always amazes me. Well done gentlemen for keeping these skills and machines alive
Masterfully done Sir! I can always tell by the hands whether it's the "Master" or the "Apprentice" ;-). It was also good seeing Avril! I get concerned when I don't see him for a few videos.
What a beautiful grinder! I can see it being used in a large chateau or ritzy cafe making coffees for the well-to-do🤩 The metal fabrication was top-notch👍 The woodworking, magical👏 Thank you for taking the time to restore this grand dame and for letting us in one it☺
honestly, I think this is the most beautiful restoration of a coffee grinder I have ever seen! it's absolutely stunning! and your work is impeccable as always! ❤
Thank you again for this restoration, we all had this first memory that of the smell of freshly ground coffee.
I always love watching these as i go to bed. They are so relaxing and when i cant keep my eyes open any more I pause them and in the morning i get to see the beautifully completed and functioning machine. Its a wonderful way to start the day
Good to see you guys in the Lab again.. Project turned out beautiful as always.. Give Avril a good head scratching for me and I'll take a cup of coffee to go.. Take care my friends and God Bless...
What a quality and simplicity. It does what it supposed to do. Grind coffee-beans. No blinking lights, no beeps. Hands up if you think that in year 2124 you can restore a coffee-grinder built today in 2024.
That finished grinder is a thing of beauty really well done... i wanted to sniff the finished ground beans i bet it was amazing! And the cat just finished it of! Well done mate.
If I had a lathe, I think I'd stay at home all day making knobs and handles then wax polishing them on the lathe. Anyone want to donate a lathe to the cause? Brilliant restoration, you are the masters!
Hope you’ll enjoy the video! 😊👍
Honestly I'd rank you right up there with Hand Tool Rescue always awesome videos 👍🏻👍🏻
I wish I could have it! its supremly superb!
Beautiful! I didn’t think the green looked good … until I seen the finished product. WOW, looks amazing.

Are there multiple people on your team? I feel like I saw some different pairs of hands
Does anyone else watch these videos to relax enough to sleep?
I'm doing this as I type right now
Yes I do
Exactly what I’m doing now
absolutely
Every night
the repair of the missing half of the dome was incredible! And the little metal knob at the end of the handle, what a touch!
Yeah it must have been so long using steel for that, i would have used aluminium
I was going to also say that fabrication and shaping of the dome really made this a "next level" restoration.
Brazing might have been a better solution than ARC welding with preheating and slowly cooling in a fire blanket or sand.
Love seeing Avril supervising. I can smell that fresh grown coffee from here. Great job!
I swear these videos are like therapy..
So calming and peaceful while still being fascinating. It's so wonderful to watch someone with so much talent care and restore things that would otherwise go to waste.
Thank you for these
I love the red wood. And happy to see Avril
That reddish wood is a crazy colour! I'd like to know what it is, too. 🤔🙂
I’m not too sure, but it looks like a kind of sequoioideae wood (sequoias) or a sapele. Would need them to confirm 😅
Also came here to ask about the type of wood used for the handle, that color is gorgeous. Well done on the whole project ❤
Oh and meow to Avril❤
I have so many feelings about this man. He's probably the best restoration channel on here by far.
Excellent job - due to Avril's control, for sure!
Absolutely beautiful work. The colours you picked are really lovely.
So happy seeing Avril, I hope he is doing okay ❤

Doming a piece of steel is a remarkable feat! Excellent work.
I really appreciate the flat head screws matched direction wise when you mounted it to the base. It's the little attention to details
Wow! It looks amazing. 👌🏻
Glad to see Avril coming by.

Avril! my heart ❤ brilliant work as usual guys!
When you opened the drawer with the freshly ground coffee, I swear I could smell its aroma through the screen!
That is some of the most skilled work I have ever seen! The new dome piece and the repairs to the base were incredible. Merci mille fois.

It turned out beautifully. It’s a work of art. Pass me a mug ☕️
Amazing work as always! I especially liked the conical bit at the end of the handle and how the edge matched so nicely!
Incredible video!! Really interesting to see the amount of work that go into these and I absolutely love the SS logo!!
Just amazing!! I love watching your videos!
Excellent craftsmanship. You can see the years of experience and material knowledge. So great to watch
Nice work! Good to see your cat again, too! It's hard to believe such a useful mechanism was hiding beneath all that dirt and rust.
Standing ovation!!! Beautiful job! C'est Bon! And two sitings of Avril!
That was an impressive repair of the missing piece on the base. 👍
Enjoy all your videos. The way you work restoring in so smart and interesting, you make it look so easy. Don't comment often but enjoy watching.

The grind quality looked excellent
Brilliant restoration, as usual, such skill both in metalwork and woodwork
That is marvelous how you restored that old coffee grinder. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
Fantastic job guys, when I’m parting off on my lathe I use a small cardboard box to catch the part, saves searching round in the chip tray 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I always love watching these as i go to bed. They are so relaxing and when i cant keep my eyes open any more I pause them and in the morning i get to see the beautifully completed and functioning machine. Its a wonderful way to start the day
As always an excellent restoration, ten out of ten. Super happy to see Avril back on the show. Cheers from OZ mate.

Using a metal strainer to hold small parts while sandblasting was quite ingenious!
I love that green.
What a quality and simplicity. It does what it supposed to do. Grind coffee-beans. No blinking lights, no beeps.

So happy to see a new video! Love see Abril’s cameo. That is a beautiful piece!
Merci !
The steam coming out of the coffee at the end. Best part.

read this too fast and processed it as “hope that food is paint safe” lol
I saw this comment before I finished the video and I hope it's not a ridiculous color
Edit: At least it's not hotrod red this time
