This is what i watch before bed. I love restoration videos. They’re interesting and relaxing to watch. The sounds of the different tools and noises of the materials. I love watching to process. I’ll say it again. I love restoration videos 😁 thanks for making these. Keep em coming 😊
This restoration was beautiful! The marks of history have been preserved and all the original pieces have been kept, it was wonderful, congratulations!
Just beautiful! I agree. The pitting gives it more charm. The varnish gives it authenticity. My favorite part was the smiley face. You are a true artist!
I just watched this video for the second time today. It's EXACTLY what I needed to relax after a rough day. Thanks again for making and sharing these videos. It may seem silly, but they really do mean a lot to me. Being able to enjoy them truly does much to improve my quality of life. Especially sandblasting! 😁
The blending of ASMR, education, comedy and relaxation that comes from your videos is sheer brilliance! Keep em coming my friend! Much love from the USA!
I used to watch other channels where they restore things but now, This is the only one I watch. You are amazing brother. I look forward to each and every Video you put out. You never disappoint us with how you restore your items. Keep up the great work. You know if you had a eBay or amazon store you could sell everything that you do not want to use yourself and get great money for it. Take care and God Bless you and your beautiful wife
@Silvester Yes I have watched the others also. But It got to a point where I was subscribed to way too many channels so I just cut them down and kept one from each group type. made it easier on me
Good Morning! I would like to order a Cafe Mocha please. It will be about 20 minutes while our Barista cleans / repairs / reconditions our coffee grinder... but it will be worth it! Simply another amazing restore!
It was absolutely right idea to save all the casting marks - they are great! They make the grinder machine look like very industrial and powerful engine. Thank you for your job!
Beautiful piece of art. I might have painted it “coffee brown” and stained the drawer, but that’s just me. Really enjoy your channel, and your subtle humor is fire! Cheers!
I agree with the viewer who was concerned about you protecting the metal parts that come in contact with the beans. No part that touches food should ever be in contact with any chemical applications. I wouldn’t drink any coffee from that grinder. HOWEVER, you are one of my favorite restorers and the coffee grinder looks fantastic. Great work!!!
It was a great idea to not remove the rust pits from the device. It is restored perfectly and yet it is visible how much history it has behind. It is a beautiful piece. And it still works as over a century ago. Thanks for your films!
Even though I will never be by far as good as you, all the coffee grinder videos actually inspired me to ask a friend of mine, who organizes and visits flea markets, to get me one and I will use the tools at my brothers workshop to restore it as good as I can into proper working order. A nice little winter fun project. As a great coffee fan, I really need one as a decoration in my office :-)
Great video man! The only thing I would have done differently is NOT put any clear coat protectant on the actual grinding surfaces. I can't help thinking that every time you grind some coffee, potentially you're grinding a little clear coat in with it now. I wouldn't be too worried about the grinding surfaces getting corroded by not adding the clear coat, because coffee beans have protective oils in them. Keep up the good work my friend, you're very talented and are focused on quality restorations. Keep the videos coming.
Tysy my darling: I got it right when I saw the Instagram photo. I could never imagine it was going to be that big and heavy. 😮 I'm surprised you were able to get this piece with the drawer, I wonder if the drawer is the original. I loved the clear lacquer. I'm so glad you kept the marks. It really gives character to the piece. Another one for your collection, nicely done! 🤗🤗🤗
You need to put out 3 videos a day so I don’t have to watch other restoration videos! You are the best! So much care, skill and attention to detail. Also, it’s like you got a PhD in restoration. So professional and your editing is great
The patience with which you take the items apart is wonderful and adds to the relaxation. I truly love the entire experience! And I subscribed after only watching 1 (& 1/2) videos!
I have to say, that your work is inspiring. Your work and of ge work your colleagues like odd tinkering and awesome restoration for example, are inspriring. I began to restore things like you do (but not as professional as you), because of the videos from all of you. Thanks for your work and inspiration!
Hi. Nice skills as always. But why using flooring varnish and spray can paint on a device in contact with food? Even if you don't want to use it to actually grind stuff, some of your viewers might replicate without knowing that's dangerous. Linseed oil on wood and blackened steel would be more authentic and safer 😃
Very nice! I had a sneaking suspicion about what's going on with the crank pin bolt when it wasn't in the sandblaster booth ;D Just one wish: obtain some brass acorn nuts for the hopper cover bolts, acorn nuts never fail to give extra prestige!

Hi! I always follow your videos: they are my "happy place" when I'm stressed or unhappy... Thank you for that. I noticed that you often use the sand blaster on wood materials instead of "regular" sand paper or files. How's that? What's the differences between the two procedures? I assume that the sand blaster takes away less material than the paper, but since I never used one, I can only make guesses... Thanks again!!!
I could *almost* smell the coffee! Very nice decision to keep the pitting and casting marks on this piece. I am very impressed with the clear coat product and I will research for a comparable item in my area. Also, your wood restorations are superior and it might be nice to see vacuum pot resin stabilization be used on your projects. The wood will be much stronger and the surface can retain as much texture as you want for your finished design.
I always love your videos Tysy. You are really entertaining and you have end up making really good choices and do a great job on whatever you are restoring.

This is the last step I ever reach when doing a project. All the parts get put in a box then shoved away in a corner, never to be seen again.
