Not one of your more complicated restorations, but I think this turned out the nicest! Impressive repair on the turning wheel. Nice touch on the square shank nails for the drawer :) You should consider placing fiber washers between the nuts and your powder-coated surfaces. This would allow you to use thin lock washers if you desire and not scratch the coating. By the way, what type of oil are you using to quench and blacken the screws and bolts?

Restoration, as you’ve shown it here, is truly an art form. Your mastery of all the crafts breathes new life into the once-old and make them look brand-new again! Thank you for showing us all how it’s done.
so you did ham slicer, bread slicer, now coffee grinder, its lunch time! great work, everything turns out beautiful, and I love how you keep all the parts, even the old wood!
perfect restoration, perfect montage actually when i saw this restoration, i remembered the great My Mechanics, i’m sure you will be like him. keep it up you are awesome man 👏
Love the powder coat finish, such a high gloss on the green, contrasting with the matt gold. Great save on the wheel, that wasn't looking good at all. Very hard if not impossible to come by those sort of grinders in Australia, so I enjoy watching them being restored. Cheers.
Yeesh, what product made now would ever last this long or be repairable even if it did. Anyway though: Love how you work! Practical, clean, organized, methodical, precise. Just a pleasure to watch and I love seeing these incredible pieces come back to life. My fave is when you show them in use again after restoring them. :)
The years of watching restoration videos on YT and I’ve never come across your channel before. Today you gained a subscriber for the magnificent attention to detail you devoted to your piece. Loved the restoration, the colour and the editing of your final product. Thank you. 👍🇦🇺
I'm actually glad I discovered this channel. I'm not usually into restoration videos but this channel made it seem very interesting. And now I always watch videos here whenever I want to fall asleep, it just feels relaxing. It helps me have a good nap :)
Editing and shots great. My favorite was the drawer getting pushed away cuz it was old and crappy and you kept the cute little knob. I just love the angles that you got with the router and the nails, and then your restoration job was top-notch. Great work!
I BLAME YOU!!! Thanks a lot, I got addicted to these videos. Now I bought a couple old brass torches and a old German coffee grinder to restore. geez lol
Wonderful job you did restoring the old coffee grinder. It looks much better and you made a new wooden base and drawer for it. Also, it works like a charm. Great work.
You are the first ever& most probably the only person that I will subscribe to.Why? Because your attention to detail & the intense work load you take on is simply fabulous 👌. True talent.A female all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿 😊.
This has been, so far, the most satisfying, ASMR and beautiful restorations I've seen. The green paint was so perfect, the black tone for the screws, the new wood base and drawer. I'm in love with your work :3 *Big fat chef's kiss*
The truth ... I was pleasantly surprised with the result! It is as fresh out of the factory after restoration. You are very talented !!!. Congratulations 👍👍🌹
@@OldThingsNeverDie- Salut En parlant de la visserie noire quesque tu utilise pour obtenir se résultat ? Je suppose que tu les trempe dans de l'acide après les avoir fait chauffer ?

Wow that is old, I haven't seen one for decades. In the 80s I worked in a shop and I used to buy tea, coffee and sandwiches from an old man who owned a general store and he used to spend about two hours a day grinding beans cos it was in high demand, it tasted amazing because the very metal of his grinder was ingrained with the oil of coffee, and the shop smelled amazing too. ☕
What a beautiful colour that green is and the wood and brass match it so well. Personally, I'd have preferred the screws, cogs, bolts etc also to be gold/brass coloured, but different people have different tastes. 😉

Your sense of humor is impeccable, lol the "No, it's only brass..." with the sense-of-wonderment music got a nice chuckle out of me.
