Colin, You have the perfect combination of passion and patience as well as professionalism to do justice to your fly fishing films. I’m always excited to watch your films and interviews because I can expect a great experience of time well spent. I’d still love to see a documentary from you talking about how you got started doing this and a historical review of The New Fly Fisher. Great work as always!

Fantastic episode. Your production values keep increasing. I really noticed the excellent use of music. Most importantly, you told a story. I felt the drama. Thank you!

I've been waiting for this episode since last season! I couldn't make it into the Flowers last year with the COVID-19 travel restrictions, but have all my digits crossed that I can make my scheduled trip this year. Chris is a great guy as well as guide!

I've only seen Atlantic Salmon that big that were in the deli case cured and smoked as Nova lox. Labrador rivals Alaska in pristine outdoor wilderness beauty. Those brook trout were huge.

Superb video and some beautiful fish caught.the only downside to good salmon fishing waters is the price of the fishing..$10,000 for 6 days is insane to say that that's reasonable money compared to other locations.

There are two types of caribou in Labrador. Woodland caribou and Northern/Tundra caribou like the ones around Georges River. The woodland caribou are frequently seen in the area we fish and stay in the boreal forests. The others in the north have had major losses due to an infection but are evidently starting to gain size in their herds.

@@newflyfisher again... I thought madcow or something had eliminated the Caribou populations of Labrador. My dad... actually sold his remote camp there... because Caribou hunting was gone in Labrador.

@@warrendonaldson4144 not entirely the George river caribou heard was almost extinct a few years ago and the provincial government of Newfoundlandlabrador banned the hunting of the herd and as a result they’re numbers have grown and at the moment the herd has a population of 8000 an increase from 2016 when it was 5000

Someone will have to explain to me how it is ethical to stick a piece of steel into a wild animal only to torture it for pleasure. Does seem rather sadistic.

Obviously you're entitled to your opinion, but you should realize the only reason fish like Atlantic Salmon, trout, striped bass, redfish, tarpon, bonefish and many other species exist in many places is because of conservation efforts funded and carried out by anglers like the ones you see in this video. Google Pebble Mine and Trout Unlimited for a perfect example. You might end up with a different opinion of "sadistic" anglers.
