If Disney decides to make a movie of Brave, please seriously audition for Merida! My girls love how you resemble her so much!
OR cast, ya know, an actual natural redhead 😂.
I receive that love, joy and peace and thank you!
Can you please do some more hair videos? I have an adopted mom who is a wonderful parent but didn’t have curly hair. I’m a 32 and I am overwhelmed and I don’t how to take care of my hair. It would be such a blessing. It is so overwhelming. I have thin but curly hair.
Your hair is fabulous!
A couple things that really helped my curls is to have the diffuser only on medium heat, and pineappling my hair in a lose bun on top of my head in a scrunchie while sleeping. That seems to even add curls for me! Love your tips.
Timing is everything……so quick story…I’m 59 years young and decided a few months ago to grow out my pixie haircut. I’ve been trying to style it several different ways. So the other day, I spritzed it with water (intending to use my styling blow dryer brush) while finishing getting ready my hair dried (my hair is very fine). When I looked in the mirror, to my surprise, it was curly!!!! I’ve never had naturally curly hair!! The only time my hair was ever curly was 35+ years ago when I permed it 😂 So now I’m trying to figure out how to deal with curls and you posted this video 😂😂 Timing is everything!!!! Thank you 💜💜💜💜
Love your color & curls!!!! Its interesting to me that putting in a leave in and some curl cream are new to some people. Not my intention to mock you or anything it is just interesting to note the cultural differences. I've been doing that for all of my 41 years that I've had hair! Glad u are finding products that work for you!!!! Couple of tips that get me 5 days out of a wash & go. Always do a pre poo deep conditioner every wash day. Always sleep on a silk pillow case. Twist your hair into 2 strand twist on each side of your hair like pigtails if you will. Then pineapple them on top of your head with a satin scrunchie or claw clip you in order to keep ur curls looking great while you sleep. You can spritz your curls and add more leave in before putting up your hair at night to refresh ur curls. Not sure who told you that sleeping with a towel on wet hair would cause mold or something but that really makes no sense at all! I sleep with wet/damp hair almost every night and have never had any issues. If any of this terminology is confusing there are thousands of videos to watch from the natural hair community! Hope this helps it taken me 40 years to get my routine down!!!!
I'm Korean. My hair was super straight when I was a child. Around middle school/junior high, my hair had more body, but it wasn't wavy. It got more wavy ish as I became an adult but never curled. I recently wanted to get bangs and now I have curls for bangs... The rest of my hair has slowly started to curl and I Have no idea what to do. I've been watching you for years for makeup and skin care so I'm back for the hair tutorials!
Girl! You rock those curls! Soooo beautiful.♥️♥️♥️
When I wear my curls, my best friend is a bottle of water with a little bit of gel in it. Best re-scrunching spray. I can even brush it out and re-scrunch. But I dont know how anyone wears curls in the summer. Summer time is tight slicked back bun time. LOL
Love that you are rocking your curls!! There’s a science to curly hair 😂 manes by mell is a great UA-camr that has a lot of great information on curly hair ❤
Plus, she has a great foam gel that I highly recommend. Collaborated with the verb.
@@katarinaramos97 thanks I’ll look into it!
I've said it before - your hair is GORGEOUS!!!
I also have curly hair, I’ve learned to not use conditioners with silicones in it. Read the ingredients in your products. Any word that ends in one, or ane avoid it also sleep on a satin pillow case also! Luv your curls!
Your hair is beautiful and your red tone is one of the best I’ve seen ❤
you have BEAUTIFUL curls. I have 2c hair and ive always been getting permanent straightening treatments but my natural curly hair grows really fast so i tried to accept it and grow out my natural hair, once its long enough ill cut off the straightened hair. It took me a long time to accept because ive had straight hair my whole life and started to grow curly at the age of 7 and i have no idea why. Your video really did help and teach me a lot of good tips to take care of my curly hair. Thank you
My friend has naturally curly hair it's long and sometimes her hair looks like ringlets it's gorgeous. She really didn't like it growing up because of the different hairstyles in fashion then, now she shows off her curls and is quite proud of them. Perms just don't look like natural curls. I think it's human that straight hair people want curls and curly people want straight hair. Just have to love what you've got and show it at its best.
If you try a satin pillowcase, it makes a huge difference in the curls. Try it!
LOVE your curls, Zabrena! 😍 I have curls, and I have been learning how to take care of them better over the last 3 years!
One small tip from one curly girl to another: Don’t “scrunch out the crunch” with a microfiber towel. That type of towel can snag your hair and make it frizzy, or even cause some breakage. What I usually do is put a very small amount of a hair oil in my hands and scrunch it out. But if you don’t want to use an oil, just use your hands without oil on them! I’ve done that too, and it works great!
I've had everything from extremely long, to very short hair, and no matter the length my curls prefer to rest on my pillow at night. No bonnets or scarves. I will say, using a silk pillowcase has really helped with frizz, tangles, and preserving my curls while I sleep. I have 3A, 3B and some random 2C bits here and there and I still experiment with different products marketed to all curls, waves, and coils.
Thank you Zabrena for sharing. I am trying to embrace my curls/waves/frizz. I have straightened my hair for MANY years, but the older I get the less I want to fight the humidity and frizz. I love getting simple suggestions on what works for others. PS: your hair is gorgeous! 🤩
Thank you so much for sharing Zabrena because I love that you only use two products and not a zillion like so many curly girls do. ❤️🌺🌸
I love your curls and your color. I'm a curly girl too so I love hearing any tips and tricks!
the color! the curls! the look I love it
Oh how I wish I had your curls!!! I've been sleeping with my hair above my head for decades now!! I've learned that as long as my hair reaches my shoulders or below (shorter than my shoulders? won't work) I just toss my hair up over my head and I've learned to just keep doing that throughout the night every time I roll over... works like a charm!! I wash my hair twice a week and only have to style my hair once after washing if I sleep this way. Another fabulous video - thank you!!
Zabrena, I am so jealous!!! I would so love to have your beautiful thick curly hair. It is just as GORGEOUS as you are!!!
Absolutely beautiful!!!
The Blowout Professor has helped me a lot.
Yes, Curly hair needs more moisture. But from menopause and thyroid junk my once full thick bouncy hair has become fine. Ive had to find a very lightweight leave in conditioner othetwise, regular conditioner weighs it down even more.
Its been a PROCESS relearning! 😮
Ive also learned we're not supposed to "scootch" our curls up in the diffuser but hover. But i cant help but think that scooching the curls toward the scalp makes it at least a little more tighter. ( goes back to the touching thing )
But.....i say find what works for us!
I also did a hair test thru Strands. They do a microscopic test on your hair. Was so happy to know my cuticle and scalp are healthy!😊
Is that the name Strands? I want to have another hair analysis!
I also have gone thru menopause but my hair strands seem to have become coarser. I wish it was finer.
Thank you for this, Zabrena!
I have embraced my natural texture after years of using heat products. I’m a wash and go girl now. When I was a teen I had hair that looked like a spiral perm naturally. After having kids I lost that beautiful curl. Now approaching 50, it’s back 😊
LOVE LOVE LOVE the new curly hair routine! I'm going to try it on my 2B/C hair! -San Francisco fan girl
You are gorgeous and I love your red curly hair 😍
Perfect timing!!! Tomorrow is wash day!❤ I LOVE the Mizani products too.
Don’t matter what ya film. I’m going To run to watch it haha. Love ya!
Omg girl I LOVE the idea behind that shirt towel looking thing lol, when You showed it to us I was like "that's a freaking shirt lol" but omg that's such a cool idea!!! Do you know How much that sells for?
Anything to do with you honey I love, so keep bring these videos to us 😘
Love ya lady 💖
Thanks for sharing. I am a curly hair (mostly wavy) girl. Your hair looks great.
tysm! ur curls are so gorgeous ❤️
Congratulations on 600k🎉
Finally! I love your hair curly.
I put my hair up in a loose pineapple, and then use hair clips to secure my long hair to the top of my head while I sleep. Love it Z, beautiful color and curls.
You look lovely as always and I speak love, peace and joy back into you and your home!
I will always watch your hair videos. Curly girls unite! I feel like you get me. I have wavy/curly hair and oily skin. Also, I want to save money where I can. I love how you don't use high end all the time like some channels. 😊
This is beautiful!
Love your hair!
Hygral fatigue- From other comments here, it sounds like it depends on how long, how wet, how often you do this for it to happen. So maybe just being aware, but of course do what works personally. i havent ever been a night-time washer, but i have had serious hair loss and have been babying my hair to grow back, so i try not to leave mine wet just in case. Thank you for the video! 🧡👍🧡👍
Heading straight to find out more about the plop wrap! Thanks for the heads up.
I bought the plopping towel immediately! Thank you!
Hey fellow curly girl, your hair looks beautiful! 😍
Your hair looks really pretty
Your curls are beautiful! I agree, Manes by Mell is a great curly girl resource!
I don't follow the "curly girl method" but I do use the way they style the hair, the LOC/LCO method, layering a cream, a gel and a serum. It's awesome and even with my (little amount) of texture it works.
I love that hair towel! Going to get one
One of your old hair videos was the first that I had tried for my wavy curly hair that had worked! This was like 8 or 9 years ago lol. I have more length and consistent curl/wave now. I love your hair and appreciate that you wear it curly more often now.
I love this video!
This method is MUSIC to my nighttime-shower-loving, curly girl ears! 😍 Can’t wait to try!
I love your curly hair.
To break up the cast or scrunch out the crunch as I say you can also use hair oil. I like to use the olaplex oil when doing mine. It helps prevent frizz and provides a little extra moisture and shine! I just rub some onto my hands and scrunch until there's no more crunch.
My hair just started being curly about 2 years ago with menopause. It’s crazy! But I like it and I appreciate your help! ❤
Thank you for sharing. I have curly hair like you. Love your hair!
I might have to check out that towel! I'm only a few weeks into my wavy hair journey so it's fun to hear all the tricks everyone has. 😊
Gorgeous hair! God bless you sweetie ❤
Thank you so much for the tips. I just started using a new line of products made just for curly hair without much success so far (3 times) other than super soft hair so will try some of your tips (though I always let my hair air dry). I only wash my hair once a week so it's hard to wait to try a new technique. I may have to wash it more often until I get what works for my hair! Not giving up!
beautiful! thanks for sharing your tips. i only ever wash my hair in the mornings. it dries on my way to work with the vents from the air in the dash.
So glad you did this video. I was needing to try some new products and techniques! Thank you.❤
Yayyyy, I am so happy to see this. Thank you!
I have very similar hair texture and it’s fun to have somebody in the beauty community who can actually share hair products/methods that are relevant for me. Have you ever tried a hair oil to break up the cast? I find if I go in even with bare hands to break up the gel cast, it introduces frizz, so now I use oil once my hair is completely dry. It’s a nice way to wear a scent too. 😬
I love wet plopping and yes I do it overnight, too. I don't do it every night and I've never had a mold problem. In fact, as long as the hair fully dries you probably won't.
Ohhh, I'm heading over to Instagram to see the hair coloring video!
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this!
Here I am, with my stick-straight hair!!! I absolutely adore your hair!! Color, curls….everything!! 💜
Me too Donna, me too! I am so jealous- I have wanted hair like Zabrenas since I knew what hair was. As a toddler I used to put in my Granny’s wig and wear it around - refusing to take it off so she just gave it to me. I’m sure I was the first 2 year old in history with their own wig.🤪
Thank you so much for sharing and I just have to say your hair is beautiful! :)
Love the Bounce Curl products.
Can we please see an updated “best of red eyebrow products” video? I’m going back red after 4 years and need some updated products!
2nd comment- and your hair looks gorgeous!! 🧡👍🧡👍
You really sold me the towel for plopping my hair but it´s currently sold out 😢and yes I´ve noticed too that every little thing that I´ve been doing has helped get my wavy hair to look better
I LOVE your red hair❤
Your hair is beautiful. Thanks for the tips. I’ve been on my curly hair journey mostly since Covid but have embraced my curls most of life.
Hello my gorgeous getting ready guru girl! My must see , must watch must wrap myself in all of your new things to learn. Just want to say thank you and your awesome ❤❤❤
I love your Hair !! The color and Curls Are Absolutely Beautiful!! ❤❤❤❤
Your curls look AMAZING!!! ❤
Just ordered 2 of those plop things! Thing you!
Your curls are beautiful ❤️ So glad you're new routine is working well for you.
My daughter has super curly hair. This was so helpful.
This was a total win! I have a sleeping bonnet.. but I hate having anything on my head as I sleep. I pin my hair up in the loosest bun ever.. the pineapple with a scrunchie messes with my curls. You convinced me to try the Bounce Curl product 👍👍 I’m on year 5 of my curl journey… always learning ♥️
SO Pretty!! ❤
I've got naturally wavy hair, and I do something similar, but omit the leave in conditioner. And the waves get more defined as it gets dirtier for some reason 😅 it actually looks better 3 days after wash!
I have naturally curly hair too and I have been living manes by Mel. I brush style my hair and I can not believe the difference get a satin pillow case and I always sleep in a bonnet
Yes!! I've been requesting this video for so long, thank you girl! 😊
I loved this video. Please do more
I will definitely try this method on my 16 yr old son. He has thick, long curly hair and it can get unruly....thanks Zabrena❤
Zabrena, I truly enjoyed your video! I love how shiny & healthy your curls look. I live in the same humid Florida climate as you do, & mine always get frizzy. I'm going to try plopping with the hair towel you mentioned. Take care!🙏❤️
You should look into Manes by Mell! Her videos have been so helpful to me in learning about my waves.
I love your curly hair, girlfriend. And it's so much more easy instead of making that terrible effort to straighten it every time.
*Wavy Gal* . I've been doing a modified CG routine for 2 years. I've been using a t-shirt for plopping but the Moonstone towel looks perfect. I haven't tried the Mizani Leave -In but I like that it doesn't contain silicone as I've found that silicones are generally too heavy for my fine hair and my waves fall by day 2.
I am super glad u did this video! I struggle with my curls now that my hair has changed so much due to health probs so I’m so grateful for your tips :)
Your looks absolutely gorgeous ❤
Watching this to look for tips for my toddlers hair. Her hair is firey red with crazy curls! The product tips might be helpful. Can't plop kiddos hair yet but will keep it in mind as she grows
I just wish I had your beautiful curls. thankyou.
Love your hair! Absolutely gorgeous! 🥰
I do not have curls or even long hair but it is fun to learn something new!
Gorgeous hair and love the simplicity of your routine. I am new to this journey thank you. Do you have a layered haircut?
hello your hair is beautiful and your curls superb, I do pretty much the same routine even if my hair is shorter, I use a lot of mask and conditioner and gel to coat my curls. Thank you for this video🧡🧡🧡
I have wavy hair that I’ve always worn straight cause I didn’t know I had wavy style hair. Starting my journey with the bowl method. I need a crème to hold the curl I think. I don’t have that yet. Thanks for the video. I’m learning
If you want to plop overnight then plop overnight. I went to bed with wet hair for longer than most been alive and I never had issues. You don’t wash your hair every night so you are fine. As usual everyone takes these trendy information too far. It’s for people who’s hair takes days to dry and then wash their hair often as well. If your scalp is drying out your good. Tea tree EO and water spray can help if someone is nervous about fungus.
