    Some good curly hair styling tips, use a small amount of curl cream through wet hair. Then brush foam through your roots to ends then scrunch. You can use a cotton top to get rid of excess water, then put gel throughout your lengths and scrunch to create curl clumps. Then you can either air dry or diffuse dry your hair. And a really good tip once your hair is fully dry, use a silk scrunchie to put your hair in a bun and sleep in a silk bonnet. Then the next day make sure to scrunch out the crunch to have lovely soft curly hair! Let me know if this helps anyone, and Hannah can you please do a video on using brad mondos wavetec wave foam. 💕

    And this is why i tell people “it’s a lot of work”. They never believe me. Curly hair is awesome but takes so much time to work with

    • @hanzcurls
      @hanzcurls  8 місяців тому +10

      Haha yes I understand! This is my most "work" routine that I do when I want long-lasting results. It takes 1 hour from start to finish, but I do quicker routines when I don't need my best ever results - I have some other vids on my channel with quicker routines, like the mousse one for example 🧡

      Right?! I used to call it naturally nappy when I was young (LONG before Lorraine Massey was even a glint in her daddy's eye). I hated having curly hair! They think we can just wash and go.... PLEASE!

      A truer statement has never been said. I get up at 3am to get ready for work when I need to wash. I don't have to be at work till 8am. I've been blow drying my hair for an hour and a half and its still wet (color damaged porous hair) and it mattes if I look at it funny or it gets wet. I also have baby fine strands that have frizzy tight curls with no product, but as soon as I apply any oil, moouse, etc it gets weighed down.
      Curse my curly haired mother for marrying a man with pin straight baby fine hair.

      @@heatherb1700I feel your pain. I also have low porosity, fine hair. It takes about 5 days to air dry, I kid you not. It drives me nuts. Last night, while on hour 4 of gently diffusing, I lost my temper, turned the temperature up, and dryed my my hair. I lost my curls, got frizz, but at least I got to go to bed. I'm so tired of hearing ,"Isn't your hair dry yet?" from family and friends.
      My Mom, by the way, has these luscious, big, bouncy curls that dry within half an hour. No frizz.

I know it will take practice with brush curling, sectioning and diffusing (esp the front pieces because mine are really thin) but I feel encouraged - which at 41 is a rare feeling with my hair 😂 Looking forward to your future videos! Just a couple of questions - do you use a heat protecting spray? Do you have any sectioning tips? (I think the last one is probably practice makes progress lol) Thanks again!

      As mentioned in the video description:
      “Note: You do not have to use all these products. I don’t use all of them all the time, but this routine is what gives me my favourite, long-lasting results. You can still do the same techniques with less styling products”
