Yep, this convinced me to bite the bullet and purchase a couple turtlenecks.
I’ve always been tie guy, but Brian has convinced me that a turtle neck can be a great alternative.
My Dad sported that last look of the suit with the collar worn outside in the 1950s. That is one of my early memories of him in Florida, in a grey suit with the collar outside of the suit lapel. That was nearly 70 years ago, showing again that there is not much new in the world. We repeat things from time to time. Thanks for the memory.

That wedding outfit was the exact same outfit, but with a matching vest, that I wore to my brother's wedding. I kid you not, when I entered restrourant and walked down the stairs, everyone's eyes were on me! Great video!

I probably won't simply because I don't necessarily like to promote an atavistic view of men's style. It's more about what you can wear TODAY and feel confident rather than looking like a costume.
@@hespokestyle I don’t think a vintage inspired outfit necessarily need to look like a costume more a way of thinking about the details, like wider legged trousers and spear point collars but I get your point. Everything can be taken to extremes but with that said, I really believe that we can find great inspiration and tricks from the old days that actually looks better than today’s standard.
