Thanks for this video! There's definitely been quite a bit improvement in the overall health of your hair, including length and body. Your hair looks so healthy and beautiful. I'm going to be doing a similar hair regimen, in fact, I'm starting it tonight! I'll be using an olive oil moisturizer and castor oil mix and making up a bottle of hair oils for daily use. I made oils for one of my daughters who insisted on using s straightening iron every single day and she's fried so much of her hair off, but then wants me to buy her extensions, LoL! I told her no, she can learn to take care of her hair properly (which is where the hair oils come in at). She's been using it for about 3 months and wow, what a difference that it's made in the overall health, plus it's grown a lot! Well, time to do my hair mask now. Blessings and peace : )

Yes I still DC twice a week. 2 I DC with Kera minerals one day and the other day Olive Oil Replenishing conditioner.
3 I use an oil to seal in the moisture, But you can use what works for you. I suggest using a light oil or shea butter

I wear my hair in one braid bun kinda high on the back of my head. I wear that style in the summer and winter months. Same style year round lol.

So it's the plastic that makes it more moisturizing because I don't see a difference from moisturizing and sealing with oil and putting a satin bonnet on my head and going to sleep

Thank you for the response. I have also recently started to DC twice a week. I was doing a egg mixture DC one day, and then mayo and oil the other day. I did have any problems or protein overload, BUT I've decided to do egg only one day and then do a hot oil treatment on the other day to be safe. I don't use oil otherwise. Keep up the good work.

@jewlzoo I have been on my HJ for 9 months now. I would have to say when I relax I never relax bone straight so I texlax. Also I noticed a change when I started using castor oil and doing the baggy method 4 days out of the week.

YOu stated that you DC twice a week, did you still do it twice a week while doing to baggy method?
    2) what were you DC'ing with? I suppose something protein base...
    3) Is the absolutely necessary to use an oil or can I just use my moisturizer only?

Yes cause with the plastic it don't let any moisture escape so will keep all the moisture.

LOL! Yes it is called the bagging/baggy method. Also called steaming your hair. This is an OLD method of deep conditioning with oils. Some woman on You Tube here claims that she invented this calling it the green house effect! Yeah right! I have known about this many, many years!! I do this once weekly. It's great for your hair.

@Butterscotchchick Hi, I believe u r speaking of "Meeka Jeal". Dont take this the wrong way but she didnt clain to have invented the GHE, she just explained it in detail for people who wanted to know how she grew her hair so fast. But everyone has their own method. HHJ!!

@chansofancy Not taking anything the wrong way. LOL! But there are a lot of people who post in hair forums, etc saying that she created the method which is not true. I just laugh when I see the posts! LOL! HHJ to you too.
