    Peace and light beautiful queen. Thank you for sharing this insight... it makes so much sense. I remember in the old days of Jheri curls people who had them had to sleep in a shower cap to keep the grease from ruining folks pillow cases. Some people’s hair grew so long when they had their curls, this explains it.

    • @nieyajahaharris475

      Damilola Fasetire you can comb your sides down over your edges and gel them down and pull hair back into a bun. I’ve read castor oil and wild growth oil are good. Also check your nutrition are you deficient in anything? If so maybe take a vitamin, or add more fruits and veggies that supply the nutrient. Are you hydrated ? It may sound silly but pray over your edges and your hair. God cares about everything that concerns us. Bless you and remember even without edges you are beautiful .

    Hey sista gurl, I have thin, fine kinky coily hair. I am praying that this ghm will thicken my hair and allow my hair to grow faster. I have been natural for almost ten years,and my hair has not grown much. I recently found out about BGLH. The products are gluten and Shea butter free. I use the mango butter products to keep my hair moisturized. I wish I could use your products. Thank you for posting this method. Hey, thanks for the tips, as I'm on this hair journey trip LOL. I'm so going to try your greenhouse effect method...Growing up I never really put much care into my hair, and didn't have anyone to show me. At any rate, I've been watching lots and lots of videos as of late, so I've been picking up on a few techniques here and there. Still trying to figure out what works for me though, but I was wondering have you checked out curly proverbz, "henna on crack routine." Lol she shows a few before and after pictures of her edge's, and with the rice water and henna, it's helped grow hair longer and thicker than ever before. I know, I know; you can't use a rice water Rinse too much because it can potentially dry out your hair from having too much protein. Nonetheless, it's a miracle grain LOL your hair is beautiful as are you. I just thought I'd pass on the info, hope you're not offended by it, just helping another sista out. Love and light my Queen XOXO

      woah did I not answer this? could've sworn I did, but I maybe I never pressed send lol I would say don't cut your hair because that doesn't solve the problem. So whether the problem is dryness, split ends, or too much manipulation, figure that out first before you make your decision :)

    Congratulations Sis on the hairline. We on the same page. I will be purchasing your products. I have a soft thin fro. I'm going to start this method. I have issues with my ends knotting up. Time for a trim. My only concern is that I finally managed to stretch my curl. I just want to thicken it. Can I thicken my hair in cornrolls while using the green house method.

    • @christine1962ful
      @christine1962ful 4 роки тому

      Nothing will thicken your hair. We cannot change the composition of the hair as it grows out of the scalp but if you keep your ends trimmed/dusted and hydrated, it will appear thicker because your ends will be less tapered and more the thickness of a twist/braid from root to almost the tip. So when you wear your hair out it has a fuller appearance because the ends are tapered or stringy. The the is mainly to encourage faster hair growth hence the term greenhouse...hth

      I really didn't know this "method" had a name. ☺ When my hair was relaxed, I'd roll my hair up with setting cream, put a plastic cap/bag on, get dressed remove cap, let hair "cool down", remove rollers, style and go. 🙂
      Here's what I've done to my natural hair in the past 24-48 hours: Washed, shampooed and conditioned my hair in the shower. Applied a water- based scalp treatment to my scalp and then on top of that, I applied a cream that I had added my hair growth oil to (I'm in the testing phase of my product line and this was my 2nd product 🎉🙂🎉). Then I applied Ambunu/Chebe (first time using both, LOVE Ambunu! Chebe has a very smoky scent to me but so far seems to recede into the background of all the other stuff I had in my hair ☺🙃) mixed with aloe juice to my hair only. Then after combing it through (I'm low porosity and I found that I had to sqeeze and work the Ambunu into my hair - it would kin of "bead up"), I applied my usual leave in, Knot Away by Creme of Nature. Normally, I seal my hair with silicone (my hair LOVES silicones, you just have to use it properly) but this time I decided to use DooGro Mega for thickening. I put on a plastic cap and a silk cap and I've had it on for about 12 hours now as I write this. Oh, I put my hair in twists.
      I came back to this video after doing a search for "greenhouse effect for hair growth". Please share about this method. Thanks! God richly bless you all!
