Stunning mine is grown fast I started with a baby , not very easy to get because people sell Florida green as ghost 👻 which happened to me . I had 3 purchases before I got the real deal . I adore all the colors white mint green 💓 on one plant . Mine is under high light 💡
Oh wow I had not realised that people were selling the Green as a Ghost I am so sorry it took you so many tries to get an actually Ghost, but glad you are enjoying it.
I don’t know. This may have put the ghost on my “probably unattainable” wish list. Thanks for the great info, for siding with KE on the mint issue.. we love her 💜 and for the amazing description of the cute little ghost in the leaf! (That may or may not be what pushed me over the edge 👻)
Hello Memo. First i wanna say that i love your laugh so mucchhhhhh 🤣 And i want to ask u that; is not it much better to grow this plant with moss pole? I bought that plant and it will arrive tomorrow... Yours is very good shape without moss pole... Im confused about it. What do u recommend?
I’ve had a plant the I bought as Philodendron Florida Alba for over a year now and have always wondered what the difference is from a Florida Ghost. Alba has the same characteristics as a Ghost and surprisingly I’ve seen the Alba in conservatories so I’ve guessed its an older form of a hybrid or a precursor to the Florida Ghost.🤔
Do you have any suggestions on how to confirm if you have a Ghost? I have one that was sold as a Ghost but but I'm not convinced (though, like Mike below, I love the green, too).
The best way is to give it strong light if the keaves start coming out white or cream colour, then you have a ghost. I would suggest wait for 1-2 keaves before deciding 😊
@@wannabe_gardner5857 she does have a pinky/red/fuzzy petioles. She's literally been just a few inches from my good grow light for two leaves and they're still coming in green, but it's not deep green and the older leaves have that kinda mottled look. I've just moved her to my south-facing window and I'll see how she does there for the next few leaves :)
I give it about 10 hours of grow light. But still get bright green leaf. It was white when it was folded takes alot of timd to unfold and untill it unfolds it getting bright green. Any suggestions?? Pls
Is it taking a while to unfurl? mine is usually quite fast, it might be taking too long to unfurl. check out my previous video on leaf unfurling as it might help. Sometimes i found depending on the grow light it might still not be enough light!!! ( I know ridiculous, how much light this philo enjoys) I always had the same struggle when i had mine under grow light unless it was like 5-10CM away from the new leaf. This is one that I always give the brightest window to.
Hey there, great content as ever! I just wanted to say that I really do enjoy your content but something changed ( for me?) with the commercials, one every two minutes is just too much for me to enjoy your videos. =/
Hey Simon, thanks for bringing this to my attention, I did not realise that UA-cam was adding in that many ads during the video, I will see if I can reduce the frequency of the ads in order to keep the video enjoyable.
Got one and it's now being supported by takeout chopsticks. We are Team Janky!
Amazing yay for Team Janky 👏👏👏😅😅😅
Woow 😍 amazinglly beautyful, full and mature Florida ghost ❤❤👌👌

It dose take the ghost 2-4 weeks to start showing signs of change in color. I am absolutely in love with this plant. Especially the red petiole ❤️

Overfertilized? The Nitrogen is what gives us green most of the time.
Be sure you have a true Ghost and not a Florida Green. I was sold a Green as a Ghost.
