Honestly i feel like if a zombie apocalypse did happen, our current society would have absolutely no trouble dealing with it within a month or so. The only time i could see it not being dealt with within a month is if the zombies are similar to the zombies you see in videogames like resident evil and world war z, where there are different and more powerful kinds of zombies. Regardless i still don't think we'd have any trouble even if they were those kinds of zombies.
The nightmare before Christmas has more Christmas aspects then Halloween and the entire plot of the movie is based around Christmas and the movie is about making Halloween town into Christmas.
Katanas are the worst weapons in a zombie apocalypse because they are built for cosmetic purposes after a few slashes the katana will probably lose the sharpness it once had.
