Microdosing mushrooms has been a game-changer for me. It’s helped me feel more focused, creative, and in tune with my emotions, all while staying grounded. It’s like a gentle boost that enhances my perspective and makes everyday tasks feel more meaningful.
Psilocybin helped me break through years of anxiety and depression, offering clarity and peace I couldn’t find with traditional treatments. It gave me a fresh perspective on life.
One of my favorite sayings about mental health and specifically anxiety is: Genetics load the gun and environment pulls the trigger. You can can be predisposed to mental health battles but grow up in a healthy atmosphere and never experience these issues. On the other hand grow up in chaos and you’re likely to manifest some sort mental health issues. Take care of your children folks…love them, support them give them the tools that you didn’t have. Glad Joe and Theo addressed this topic, it is often swept under the rug.
Very true what you are saying. I got the bad end of the stick so I know for a fact what you are saying is true. P.S like you said love your kids. Teach your kids.
This for real helped me because I was worried I was the only one that had this same issue with my antidepressant and also thought I was just a pussy for a while and couldnt handle sobriety. I went off antidepressants for 3 years and ended up going back on them after getting PTSD. I think If I hadnt have gotten PTSD i might have been able to stay sober its a shame how fragile we can be as humans because otherwise im the strongest person I know and I know people dont give me or others the credit they deserve. Long story short Theo is a real one for this. Love this man
It’s crazy because the majority of people like him who are suffering are genuinely some of the most unique and amazing people to be around. ❤ Stay strong 💪 brotha.
It's really hard to start exercise but once you do it's something to look forward to every day/week and the improvements are noticeable thought not super significant at first
@Jim big facts before i went to mexico i probably lost atleast 10 pounds was doing 300 situps a day and atleast 150 push ups a day along with atleast 100 reps with weights and riding one of those weight wheel bikes for 30 minutes, then went to mexico for 4 days and i didnt work out the entire time and didn't continue when i got back cause i was already feeling great, cant imagine what id look like if i kept up with that routine know i wouldnt be 300 pounds with a beer belly lol
Really glad to hear Joe say he has another perspective on depression now. Heard him so many times say "Just get up and workout and you'll be fine". Paraphrasing but to that effect. Appreciate him recognising the truth about true mental illness.
People tend to forget were supposed to active. No one is meant to be sitting on a couch. Unless of course. But our bodies are wired to move and think.. when you break it down, all of us are supposed to be in shape or somewhat fit. And I mean all of us
I've never been diagnosed but I clearly have constant anxiety. And it makes sense when I'm told stories after my mom passed in 2021. Being smuggled into a country at night on a boat, doesn't help. My mom lived with anxiety all the time. It's so obvious now. She was always on the move, couldn't stay still, had to be doing SOMETHING all the time. She hated staying home too. She would push me and my brother so much. Eventually my brother started studying medicine and shit and was telling my mom what she was dealing with and to see a doctor. She tried to change but ultimately stayed in her ways until the end. Love her so much. Best person I've ever known, hands down. Best mother I could've hoped for. But yeah, she passed down this anxiety. I'm always thinking too much and it lead to being diagnosed with depression, taking meds, etc. No wonder I can't stand still either. Boredom gives me anxiety.
Same boat. I have to exercise for hours a day. Been an athlete my whole life. Loved gym class but always had anxiety from as early as I can remember. Exercise and intense breathing is what helps me
Haven't taken any meds but I know for a fact that I have either depression or bipolar..or both. It helps to talk to someone...but you gotta get over that weird feeling to talking to someone. I feel like this is me just talking to myself...but I really hope everyone that reads this feels amazing about themselves. You're all you got.
For some reason you are experiencing anxiety. You seem unsure as to why. I hope to elucidate. You chose stressful words as descriptors. Your mind creates it for you, and mine for me as well. Your mind creates whatever you expect it to. It's a prison and/or a palace, a prisoner and/or a prince.
I’m really glad to hear Theo be so open about his depression and taking meds. As well, to hear that Joe has changed his outlook on mental health disorders from a weakness of character or will and discipline to no longer believing that. Time and time again I still battle with that belief in my head, that I have depression and anxiety because I’m weak willed or I’m just not doing enough. It’s the shame that comes with this illness , and all it does is prevent you from getting better. Glad to hear Joe has changed his outlook.
I still believe much of depression can be significantly improve by being disciplined, Watch Andrew Huberman podcast on the AMCC region of the brain, it’s the hub for many many neurotransmitters, And it literally gets bigger by engaging in behaviours that take discipline. Disapline improved my depression significantly, I had force myself to do things i would have rathered not doing. And no, you’re weak for not having discipline, It’s a learned skill, Just like climbing a mountain is a learned skill, Not being able to climb doesn’t make you less valuable than anyone, It’s okay.
As an older adult, I learned a valuable lesson. I saw this in myself and many others. If you are faced with a problem that you don't know how to solve and don't have the tools or knowledge to solve it, you will become anxious. If you stay in that situation day after day, you will be trained to immediately become anxious. Think of a teacher demanding homework or testing on subjects that weren't properly taught. Or a boss or client who are unable to explain their needs but will hold you responsible anyway. Once in a while, it happens, but if it's every day, you have to change the dynamic. Get away if you can't fix it. This isn't good for you long term.
Theo hit the nail on the head with his explanation of depression and SSRIs, for me at least! I just switched from Zoloft to Wellbutrin earlier this month (I was having annoying side effects), but an SSRI basically keeps your head above water, and creates a baseline for you. You still have to do the work to maintain your physical health and even your mental health to an extent, but without it, it’s like there’s an anchor tied to your leg that makes it 10x harder to stay afloat.
@@jess_n_atx Oh I know haha. Bupropion is the other name for it; I just wanted to try out something from a different class. I’m just speaking for when I *was taking the Zoloft.
My recovery journey was greatly enhanced by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT and LSD have also proven to be remarkable.
Psilocybin mushrooms,DMT and LSD has been quite therapeutic for me. I was diagnosed with severe depression and mental health issues, not until a friend recommended golden teachers mushroom for spiritual and mental gratification. I’ve been well ever since for about 4 years now.
if there is 1 thing that theo isnt, he isnt a liar. Even if he has to say it in a joking way to take the edge off of what hes saying, he'll always tell you the truth.
I love episodes like these that shine light on depression and anxiety. Anxiety made me drop out of school, I didn't know it was anxiety at the time, but every time I was there, I would get super nauseous and would have to run out of class to the bathroom often. Even till this day, when I'm with my girlfriend I still anxiety vomit often. I'm currently taking anti depressants and anxiety meds and it makes me feel normal.
Thank you to both of yall! Theo hit this on the nail. Im 2 months off my ssri and im struggling hard. Ive been exercising and working hard but it doesn't get me to where i feel "normal". I hate taking meds but im struggling after my wife passed. Maybe i should go back to my dr and start taking paxil again. It definitely helps me i just start feeling better and think i dont need it. Again, thank both of yall.
I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression when I was in my 30s and it makes alot of things make sense for why I was the way I was in my younger years. I've been prescribed medication and sometimes even prescribed medications that would create worse effect when working with one another. Like your guest said , it's like a constant battle throughout the day. I can still do what I have to , but over time it does take alot of confidence to push through. That's why exercising is so important because it gives me a sense of confidence and that would make me narcissistic, but the narcissism is to combat the depression. That's me tho. Thanks for the information. 😁
Wow. Great clip. Totally know how that feels when you get that drop. Strangely I was the only person in my family who ever had anxiety. I think it’s due to childhood shit. Taken me years to get to a point of managing it as best I can. Still get the odd drop, but mostly good now. Thank you for this clip guys. 🙏❤️
This conversation is so real, so relatable, so intriguing and so raw. I linked this to my wife to point to exactly how I feel in some situations and SSRI. I've been taking the same as Theo for the last 6 years and I find it near impossible to taper off. It's really great to hear such an authentic point of view and to know that I'm not the only one that is dealing with this. I mean, I know I'm not, but hearing him talk about it in so much detail that mirrors my feelings in such intricate detail, it was really an "uh huh!" moment for me. 2:18 resonated with me to the core. Thank you very much for sharing Theo.
@Ayo if you knew anything about him you not only wouldn’t write this but you couldn’t write this logically, he is amazing and you shouldn’t get butt hurt about it just because nobody called you amazing lol
Just seeing my neighbor on and off of it different weeks, it seemed a lot worse when he was on it. Not a doctor but at some point in your life you didn't need them , like Joe says exercise is a huge factor.. and it's not like "if I feel like exercising" you need to exercise 5 days a week
i had suicidal depression and all mental health disordersand it was extremely painful. probaly more painful than a kidney stone and it was chronic problem. my depression completely went after after doing an elimination diet of meat + bread only. i reintroduced plant foods and still dont have depression. i believe the trigger was from either hershey special dark chocolate, chocolate milk, or fruit sugar. i was consuming alot of sugar during the time

Dude my mom went through some heavy heavy trauma while she was pregnant and i have THE worst anxiety, i worry so much just how she does and i fight the feeling cause i know thats now what i want to feel, oh man it sucks dude
Joe is like that supportive cool uncle that i never knew i needed but i watch him on youtube rather than hangout in real life. His clips always bring me entertainment, knowledge and even in this one a little bit of peace of mind seeing as he understands how messed up anxiety and things of that nature can be. I swear these videos are like a therapy session sometimes. Thank you for having this platform and being such an awesome guy Joe 🙏❤️. I can imagine a friendship with you would be extraordinary
Sometimes we feel like we're alone in our struggles but then you talk to people and find out that we all struggle. I think it's really important for Joe and Theo to talk about these things so people can realize they're not alone.
I’ve dealt with Anxiety my whole life, it’s a horrible thing to live with. You have to calm your triggers, working out , cold showers, meditating , and journal seems to be a bandaid on the anxiety .
Anxiety, from my personal experience, is not something you get rid of. It's something you learn to mitigate and live with but it will always be there. I've gotten panic attacks where the trigger was the idea that it's possible for me to have a panic attack. Once you have one you're more likely to have another. It's a never ending cycle. Learning coping strategies is your best defense against them. Getting diagnosed with them was a great thing for me because I learned that I wasn't in fact dying and was actually dealing with something that thousands upon thousands of people deal with everyday. Having the ability to go "I'm having a panic attack right now, let's just get through this and it will eventually stop" is a great tool to have in your toolbox in the fight against anxiety.
It's only one way to look at it. Humans all have such different experiences that this is one valid way to see it out of many. It's important to ask for help when you need it.
I’m really happy to hear Rogan a lot more open minded on this stuff. I’ve started taking SSRIs and was very hesitant mainly due to the stigma around it. I want to be tougher and be able to be proactive in taking care of my mental health, but when you’re really in a rut it’s hard to gain motivation to do anything. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my outlook on life and feel a lot better equipped moving forward to take care of myself, not allow myself to overthink too much etc. I’m on a low dose so hopefully I can stop taking them at some point and move forward with a better mindset.
Thank you Joe and Theo just hearing you guys kick it and talk helps alot of us escape reality for just a minute and lets is know we aren't the only ones feeling some type of way. Much love 🍻
Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.
Please does anyone know where I can get them? I put so much on my plate and it really affects my stress and anxiety levels, I would love to try shrooms
Psychedelics saved me from vears of uncontrollable depression, anxiety and illicit pill addiction. imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not in a couple years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
I was on generic prozac, I can say that it does work. The short time I was on it, I noticed that the small things didn’t bother me. Stayed on for a year then decided to wean off. I didn’t feel it was right to be on medication. I can definitely get behind genetics and environment playing a role in bringing out anxiety. My mom is definitely why I am the way I am. But I love her and recognize it wasn’t on purpose. I too use exercise as a way to stay in check.
Got diagnosed by the VA during rehabilitation with PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar 1, manic depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, sleep disorder, and substance use disorder. As someone like this I can relate to Theo in so many ways. Theo is a badass man. Love that guy.❤
The VA has done more harm to me and other services members than I would’ve ever thought possible. Hope you get the help you need, even if it’s outside of the VA. Bless
@@zeekltd well the main thing is I had to go to rehab. I didn't even want to but my life got so bad I literally had no other option. Was that or I was going to die. What is helping me now is trying to avoid toxic women. I must have an eye for the crazy ones and unfortunately I think it's because I'm seeking out similar damages like my own in others. So staying single so I don't get my goddam heart ripped out again is huge. Also had to learn to say no to things that I used to fill that void of being alone. When I left the Marine Corps I went for a run and bent my leg backwards at the knee, a severe hyperextention that resulted in me losing my meniscus. The VA couldn't get my in to surgery for a whole month and change so they handed me a bottle of 150 painkillers a knee brace and crutches. It's not their fault, but I started abusing pills, and then from 2017 - 2019 I became such a severe alcoholic and cocaine addict that I was drinking multiple bottles a day and about 2 grams of blow a night. So I learned how to function numb. Lost my job, truck, wife, dog, and was ultimately a homeless vet by 2019 and even suffered a heart attack from cocaine abuse, and shortly after decided to kill myself. (Lived obviously lol) But in rehab the VA really dug into my past issues and issues I picked up in the Corps as well. So I know this is long and drug out, but what helped me the most was getting the help i needed at the Sheridan WY VA rehabilitation center. I went away there for 3 months and I came out not completely healed but more able to deal with my problems not on drugs. Learned all about my past trauma, mom leaving me, dad having alcohol issues as well, and people outcasting me and leaving me throughout my life. And it's an ADHD/bipolar thing too. For me I got so heavily on the snow because it helped me focus and function through the day. People with hyperactivity regularly react this way to stimulants and its what makes them so addictive. Step one, check in. Step two, be vulnerable. Step three, find the root of the problem. Step four, know and avoid your triggers. And Step five, replace the once "fun" bad habits, with healthy good ones. That's the best advice I can give.
Theo is the best at explaining this to Joe. I relate to Joe who has, in the past, had a very hard time understanding BUT has come to see that there truly are people that must medicate to allow themselves to take the best care of themselves
I’ve never done ayahuasca, but shrooms made me go from being suicidal to being straight up happy. I take them every 2-3 months, and they’re generally much more effective than SSRIS for my depression. They also are the best drug I’ve ever taken for migraine prevention, and I’ve tried everything from anti-seizure meds to Botox. It’s amazing how effective certain psychedelics can be for an array of medical issues
@VTComps... Daily migraines, just moved to a place I knew no one, bad marriage, wasn’t working due to trying to get disability so I basically had no life, and I already had chronic depression beforehand. So yeah, life sucked.
Man, I really needed to hear this. Theo is awesome. His descriptions of some things are right on. I should get back on meds for the same reasons he said. Joe is always awesome as well.

Mental health issues can be absolutely genetic. Neural connections are formed through traumatic experiences which literally rewires your brain and gene combinations pass this down. You’ve got a huge nerve running from your brain to your gut, heart and lungs which can heighten emotional responses. I have a Psych degree and been teaching for nearly 20 years and what Theo said about alcoholism and his shirt analogy is fucking profound. You’re a treasure mate 👍
I resisted being on meds for years and finally started taking an SNRI a month ago and I can tell you it really helps. My main problem was generalized anxiety disorder and I have definitely felt MUCH less anxious overall. It's only been a month, so I haven't even reach the full therapeutic effects yet. What I'm saying is it can really help manage symptoms and you owe it to yourself to not suffer.
It’s good to see that Joe has come around on his “man up” take to mental illness. Nobody knows the true depths of internal hell until they’ve been there themselves. And even a little taste of it can humble a person. Much love to all, take care of your kids and show them this world can be a safe space for growth and harmony.
I’m Always depressed and have anxiety and I’m on prescription but it doesn’t work. I know that eating well and exercising helps! But just getting started is so hard having a full time job and 5 kids at home. Biggest thing I struggle with is coming home late from work and having dinner ready!
For many mental disorders e.g anxiety, it has a lot to do with the individual’s environment as-well as genetics. Meaning, if your family has a long line of anxiety, you’re likely to develop it IF your environment exposes you to anxiety inducing scenarios.
Crazy I’ve been struggling with ADHD for years and I’m finally starting to realize how bad it is. Still not on any medication just because I’m scared of having to rely on something everyday. It sucks that I know it would probably change my life for the better… but still can’t seem to pull the trigger on it
Same, but let’s just do it. Even Jim Carey said the things are great for people in the short term. So we take them for about a year, better our lives, and wean off. It doesn’t have to be so complicated, it’s the stigma stopping us.
What I have found is that people who are highly intelligent, and ate “thinkers” tend to deal more with anxiety/depression. Sometimes when you try to find an answer to a problem that basically has no solution, it causes anxiety. That prolonged anxiety then leads to depression. Been there done that unfortunately.. I agree that beyond genetics it can be a learned response from your parents actions in dealing with their problems.
When Theo talks about his internal battle when he is off his SSRIs, it really sucks, but that's a side effect of withdrawal from the SSRIs that takes months to years to subside. They're so hard to get off. Just like cigarette withdrawal makes you anxious and angry, SSRI withdrawal makes you feel super depressed.
SSRI's and sports (specifically running or BJJ, but anything really), are a great combination. The sports help take away all the bad energies and anger, and the SSRI just helps getting through the day/weekend without contantly thinking about something stupid you did at work, or some presentation you have on Monday. That was spot on.
My doctor prescribed me Xoloft over a year ago and even he didn’t sound super convinced it would fix my issues. After 8 months it was ok but still lots of trade offs and insomnia. I stopped taking them and tried mushrooms, I micro dose regularly and macro dose every few weeks. No more prescriptions, I feel amazing. I had a follow up with my doctor after a year to see if my mental health improved since it was covered by insurance. I told my dr I stopped the prescriptions and turned to shrooms. He was actually happy and told me his thesis was on psilocybin and mental health. He supported me doing shrooms which is not what I was expecting.
Mental Health is REAL! I like when Joe has guests on that discuss mental health, from his friends to former or active military. It needs to be talked about more.
My grandma was always anxious. My parents both didn't suffer from anxiety. I got full on ADHD, panic disorder, and GAD. I train hard and eat right so I am doing way better these days. I get anxious feelings, but I am able to get through them quickly now.
When I took a "hero dose" of shrooms a couple years ago; near the peak of the trip where it became overwhelming I started watching UA-cam for a bit. I watched a clip of Theo on his podcast and as I watched him the only words that came to mind were things like "friend, trust, safe." I felt a strange, very real feeling that Theo was a good person, a friend that I could trust. It genuinely helped calm me down and made the experience more tolerable. That experience definitely began the process of dealing with my depression, finding meaning in my life and becoming far more self aware. Though it got worse before it got better. When I describe the experience people interpret it as just a "bad trip." I think it showed me exactly what I needed to see, a lot of what I'd been running from.
I used to take lexapro for depression, suicidal ideation, then quetiapine for substance abuse depressive disorder. Those drops in emotion, sudden rage and drastic changes like that started because I tried to stop the meds. But I continued being off of them and stood that way cause I realized it was making it worse than before I took them, while I was on them daily though, I felt like happy but for no reason. Then I started doing shrooms the correct way and man was that the best decision I could have taken (not encouraging people to take them, it’s my experience) but yea the difference being that shrooms made me understand and see the ‘why’ I was in a bad mental space, and made me see it in a different light. I’m now off of the things that made me the worse version of myself
SSRIs made me comfortable with living a shltty, sad, depressing, life . SSRIs are a bandaid fix to anxiety and depression and should be last resort after lifestyle change, therapy, exercise, and other ways of natural healing. Shrooms should be prescribed for depression and anxiety not these pills that can make you fat and content with being a depressed bum. Great comment man
@@spencerrichmond5845 Been on them for years and they've drastically improved my productivity and general state of mind. Yes, you still need discipline to workout and eat healthy along with the SSRIs. It's important to improve your general health and circumstances to your best abilities, and I was able to do this due to a baseline "levelling" from the pills. I do not hit the dramatic lows I did before I took them. These pills do not work for everyone, though. To the OP: Make sure you're tapering off this medication correctly. Any attempt to stop "cold turkey" may shock the system and contribute to the mood swings you've been experiencing.
Sometimes I think people are taking videos when they have there phone points my way and people talk to me to see what I smell like and hear conversations think people are talking about me but there really not

I really feel that all my anxiety since 30 years old comes from my belly and guts. Some foods will make it worse, and some probiotics almost make it dissappear. I'm 1.5 hours in so far and Theo has hit the smelling salts several times, talked about hitting a cigarette last week, how hard it is for him to not vape after quitting a week ago and "let's try that" when Joe mentions some other drug. Bottom line is, people with NPD are represented in all walks of life, it doesnt guarantee success in anything quite contrary the people I know who have it are quite unsuccesful in their lives like really poor jobs, no powet or authority but they crave it and they exude as much power over others as they possibly can, they take whatever adoration and respect they can draw in because they so desparately need it.
People that don't have clinical depression will never understand what those of us that do have it go through. People just can't understand that physically painful aching at the center of you that comes outta nowhere. If they've never experienced it they put it in the same catagory as, just feeling bummed out, or sad. But for some of us it's a total lack of meaning, and motivation. A joyless world where nothing has meaning.
100% agreed especially if it’s been the same from childhood to adulthood where all you know is not enjoying anything and feeling like every basic activity that is you trying to start your car when your gas tank is on empty.
Yeah it's the same thing with ADHD. People can't understand the physical discomfort/pain when going through a task. Then call us druggies for getting on stimulants, it's ridiculous.
I honestly believe so many people don't understand. How beneficial working out is for anxiety depression your mental health is not only good for your physical health and losing weight. But it will make you feel or hell of a lot better when you get out of the gym from a long workout ending sweating like today I was physically exhausted from work. And then I went and worked out for an hour and I felt amazing
I took paxil for almost 10 years. When the time came that i felt like it didn't need them anymore, i found out that i was totally addicted. The withdrawal was 10x worse than any drug i was ever on, and I'm a recovering addict with just over 4 years clean. I would not wish that on my worst enemy.

We'll, I can confirm that anxiety is hereditary, my father had it real bad. Myself and my 3 son's have all had to seek help at one point or another. Intelligence is also a factor, we all have IQs well above avg. But my father's was 165 and Mensa tested and his anxiety was debilitating, seems that because we can wrap our heads around more stuff than most, we can find more things to worry about. Anyway we are all doing OK, life's good 👍
I'm pretty sure I have anxiety. Because when I wake up thats when I feel weird and in some situations I just feel weird. But I remember watching this video of Alex Hormozi wife (Leila) and she said that she woke up with all of these feelings (anxiety, doubt etc) but she ignored them and went on with her day. After I watched that video that shift my whole perspective. I genuinely try in lifet. I try to be the best dad, best man, employee, business owner, I try on my fitness and everything.

I’ve dealt with Anxiety my whole life, it’s a horrible thing to live with. You have to calm your triggers, working out , cold showers, meditating , and journal seems to be a bandaid on the anxiety .
It seems silly, but I've seen vitamin B1 help many people. I hope it might help you on your journey.
Same here, I’ve come to the conclusion it isn’t me, it’s the way our society works that makes me sick, it just doesn’t fit me
Anxiety, from my personal experience, is not something you get rid of.

@VintageClips will do man. Thank you
@@zeekltd well the main thing is I had to go to rehab.

Theo is so likeable. How could anyone dislike him?
I’m
Always depressed and have anxiety and I’m on prescription but it doesn’t work.
Yeap, happened to me unfortunately
I hope everyone who’s going through anything is doing well ❤
“Have another family ..” I burst out laughing and then the video ends 😢
When Theo talks about his internal battle when he is off his SSRIs, it really sucks, but that's a side effect of withdrawal from the SSRIs that takes months to years to subside. They're so hard to get off. Just like cigarette withdrawal makes you anxious and angry, SSRI withdrawal makes you feel super depressed.

That was spot on.
We need more and more of these conversations
Theo comes up with such great analogies.
That’s a great story man. I’m glad they helped. Stick with it 👍
SSRIs made me comfortable with living a shltty, sad, depressing, life .
Sometimes I think people are taking videos when they have there phone points my way and people talk to me to see what I smell like and hear conversations think people are talking about me but there really not
These two were ON POINT for this one! One of the funniest podcasts to date!
I love Theo!!! Never stop being you brother!!! ❤️✨
Were all struggling with something. Why it's so important to be kind to each other.
“If someone’s always tickling you, you’re always going to feel tickled. Even if they are tickling you with words”
-Theo Von
Truer, deeper, funnier words have never been spoken. Love you Theo ❤
That battle he talks of is something I think WE ALL feel. That's nature brother, the nature of good Vs evil.
Psychedelic's definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it's just so hard to source here
Psychedelics are the reason why i didn't take my life when i was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, I'm doing better everyday

Loved this. I battle from depression, anxiety & C-PTSD, I've heard shrooms cured depression. Wish doctors were more open to natural medicines over big pharma but we know why..
@@James_14_4 Yeah, he has variety of stuffs like mushrooms, Isd, DMT even the chocolate bars
When Theo took a breath and explained why it doesn’t feel right, I feel that. Explaining how it feels when someone asks can be enough to make you cry and I can see that tough emotion in his talking.
I can recommend you where I get my stuff from an online store, he's got Shrooms, Gummies, Microdose, Dmt, Lsd, Vape Pens, Carts, Cannabis, alongside other dope Psychedelics stuffs well Refined ships discreetly to anywhere also guide you if you're a newbie;;;....

Anxiety is horrible you feel shortness of breath when in a room with a few people , your heartbeat increases , leg starts shaking, you cant look people in their eye when communicating with them
Yeap it sucks! 😔
I really feel that all my anxiety since 30 years old comes from my belly and guts. Some foods will make it worse, and some probiotics almost make it dissappear. I think people with extreme anxiety like me should give a try with a wide range of probiotics ... it really feels that those make something truly powerful, to anyone reading this please make the experiment, you have nothing to lose.

What would you recommend? Thanks in advance 🙏
I am also starting to see a correlation between my anxiety and gut health, even looking back to childhood.
I take probiotic capsules 10 billion CFU and make fruit smoothies with Kefir to keep my IBS under control and it helps a lot with the anxiety as well.
I'm 1.5 hours in so far and Theo has hit the smelling salts several times, talked about hitting a cigarette last week, how hard it is for him to not vape after quitting a week ago and "let's try that" when Joe mentions some other drug. I've hung around with open mic-ers before and was good friends with an established stand up that Rogan knows well and the scene is not a great place for someone that suffers with addiction. Theo seems like such a caring person and I feel like he has some major demons that won't let him escape. Hope he can survive them.
@@Joe-sg9ll Not all successful people have addictive personalities. I would say minority of them are because its quite a feat to have mental illness, because thats what it is, and succeed at anything.
I would say get off his back but talking about sobriety on his show so much is bound to attract you judgemental people. Look no one cares what you do or dont put in your body, making it your main personality trait is annoying to everyone. Just stop. Plus at LEAST half you hypocrites still live on caffiene, sugars, and porn/tv/video game addictions.
@@Joe-sg9ll Not really. Comedy is last place in showbis for a narcissist since you are exposed to direct criticism. Joe managed since he has a podcast but look at his pal Brendan, another narc, he was torn to shreds by the public.
@@Joe-sg9ll Yeah but not all comedians are on SSRIs man. Bill Burr, Louis CK both masterful comedians, both had traumas in their childhood as we all do but neither is on SSRIs nor a narcissist. Its clear Theo had some bad stuff and Joe Rogan. You have very shallow understanding of narcissism and you think every person in a spotlight is there because they are narcissists which simply isnt true.
@@Joe-sg9ll My parents are narcissists too so I am a bad person? Narcissism is a buzz word thats being thrown around but proper NPD is not. I dont have it because I didnt have any major trauma in my childhood but siblings did and they have it. I know all about this stuff.
Good for you Joe! I’m glad you see things differently, I used to have the same thoughts. Great interviews as always, thank you Theo too!
As someone who takes ssris for years, I can really relate to Theo on this
Theo deals with legit depression. It means alot he opens up

🆙☝️You can always order from him, he's legit & reliable,he's got em magic shrooms,LSD,DMT and many more.
I feel it. Nothing can iron out that wrinkle. You ask God why you feel like this.
Lol ending on “have another family” is wild 😂
Thank you Theo for the honesty.
Micro dosing is absolutely amazing!!
I’ve always described SSRI’s as making the world…a little…brighter-a bit more color! It’s like turning “life’s” display to vivid.
Finally, Joe is talking about ayahuasca on the podcast.
It's about time.
What? You realize DMt is the same thing? Its not like he hasnt talked about these things ever.
Mentions it quite a bit actually
dude, this helped me so much this morning! i like him out of his class clown shell! love you guys! if your reading this kid your day today!

I am impressed with how in sync Theo is with his emotions and how he is coping. I couldn't of explained depression better then he just did
Two genuine guys. Thank you Joe and Theo for everything you guys do! ❤
Right? Did you have those… like brain shocks? Hard to describe.
I only took for few months when they first released my dr told me not addictive at all. Bs I almost ended my life over that feeling
@@milDelux Brain Zaps is what i called them! Yes!! It was terrible. I felt like i was literally going insane
@@DR.DisInfect i hear you. My doctor at that time pushed so many pills on me. I was prescribed 90 Percocet 10s, 90 xanax bars, and paxil every month. Shit was disgusting
@@milDelux I remember brain zaps, that's what I called them. I've been off meds for over 10 years and feel great most of the time.
Thanks for your honesty. Especially Theo.
Anyway we are all doing OK, life's good 👍
I wish i was smart im just anxious as fuck smh i dint get that lucky
@@swagkidm10 there's book smart and life smart, just because you're not academic doesn't mean you're not smart 🤓
I don’t listen to Theo’s comedy but I appreciate how he’s so forthcoming when discussing his mental health.
As long as I'm trying in life I ignore my negative thoughts and feelings and move on.
I just use pure logic to get through my days and not how I "feel"
Same brother i use similar technique where i tell myself that this is what u r feeling inside ur head but reality is still what it was days ago when u were happy so there is no point in wasting time ruminating just go on with the day...
Wow didnt know Theo was on SSRIs. I'm on them too and it just numbs me out. It does help me to halt overthinking, but if youre not doing things outside of SSRIs, itll just put you to sleep. Exercise has been very helpful. Theo's honesty ❤
These two have such a strange, powerful, awkward chemistry
