My bf did ALL of these. It’s crazy 😁 had no doubts from day one. Only “downside” was that he wanted us to commit way too early/fast. But haven’t regretted once I consciously chose to say yes 😊 close to 4 years down the road now.

@@lizm5303 give it a little bit to see how you truly feel. I had this issue. But as it continued I realized it wasn't the physical thing. I mean, it was, but I was using it as an excuse to other things I couldn't pinpoint. He was trying to rush me into a relationship even though I said I wanted to get to know him better. It was a no for me because it made me wonder what the rush was. So take time to determine if it really is the physical thing or not. Even if it's just the physical attraction, don't discredit it because you want to be attracted to them in some way. Hope you figure it out

Confirmed what I already felt. It’s true that you can feel the difference between what’s real and what’s forced or manipulation. I feel comfortable and secure. He says he’s shy but is always talking when we’re together. He cares about my sleep schedule (right now we’re opposite but that’s changing in 2 weeks) and asks to hang out only after he’s checked in to see how I’m feeling. Once this other guy hugged me and said 'your hair smells really nice," so the boyfriend says," her hair always smells nice." in certain situations I would think it's ok. for example if you have a dog/cat then you have a child and the child is allergic. maybe you try with medicine and stuff first. but if it's not working good. and the child is suffering. I think a lot of people would give away their pet. maybe even give it to relatives.
Much needed tips for online dating, especially during Covid when you don’t necessarily want to meet up with every guy you chat with online. I get so many that want to meet in person right away. I find that challenging and having to try to explain that I’d like to be friends first or at least know there’s potential.

Yes online dating. Dating 7 months the I love you came in at 5 months, promise ring a month ago. Yes to online dating please! I just started online dating and I'm not having any luck with meeting guys in person. Seems all they want to do is chat or text with you.
If that’s all they want to do then move on to the next because they are only wasting your time! Guys will eventually want to meet you after texting or chatting with you even for a few days if you guys are always texting back and forth. If they aren’t interested then they wouldn’t even suggest meeting in person. Like even if you suggest to meet in person and they say no, then they are showing signs they aren’t really interested and they are just talking to you just because you’re showing signs of interest and it makes them feel good about themselves. Guys who are actually interested in meeting you will initiate the conversations and they would make it a priority to meet you in person after chatting for a few days. I would normally say to meet to guy any time between the 4th to 5th day of chatting with them because things are still fresh yet not many days have passed since you guys started chatting. I mean even if you chatted for a whole week I feel like meeting them in person the following week would be a good time frame as well. That way you get a vibe from them thru text but then when meeting in person you get a whole different vibe. Being able to vibe both ways, in person and thru text, to me is very important. Just my thought about it lol. Good luck! You will go thru meeting a lot of people before you find the right one. Just be sure to make the right conscious decision and not just an emotional one because that could lead to bad choices and later a regrettable decision.

No dates for the past year; before Covid I've only met someone via Match, Cupid, and once with Bagel.

Same. It makes me sick thinking about giving up my sweet boy. I’m literally about to cry just thinking about it. The amount of trauma you put an animal through by re-homing is just unforgivable. Also, most people are either lying about allergies or don’t have bad enough allergies that they couldn’t handle it if they really loved you. I lived with a dog for 5 years and I’m super allergic! Not anaphylaxis allergic but still quite bad. There were times I would just touch her and some random part of my body would break out in hives. Even on two different prescriptions for allergies my nose would drip like a faucet at times. 🤧 My point is, most people with allergies can handle it and they don’t love you if they would expect you to get rid of your baby animal. Who would want to be with such a monster anyway?

Just wondering his family modelling . My man struggled with this too because he never heard it growing up. Not parent to parent or even his mom to him. But he showed it every other way. It took me years to teach him. Don’t think he ever told his mom but I taught him to say “hey love ya man” to his brother before he passed. We had a long and loving marriage

I deal with Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD & I am a sexual assault survivor. I also grew up in a very strict Christian Christian household. I didn't start dating until my very late 20s. I tried an online dating app & met my ex fiancee. It was a toxic relationship that lasted 6 years. I am not used to being anything other than "the friend". I am completely new to dating. I fell for a friend who he himself deals with trauma. He got out of a relationship 2 years ago. I am fighting with a ghost of someone that treated him like trash. He still loves her & treats me like his enemy. What should I do?
I would definitely like videos about online dating. Here's an issue. It's happened more than once: he is not in the same city. He invites me to meet him. At that point (I'm only talking about guys I've been talking to for a period of time, of course), he talks less. My thought? If you invite a person to travel to see you, you should ramp UP the conversation. Their idea? They say they will talk more when they know me more? At that point, I give up on him, because I think he's playing me. Seems obvious, but why would a guy go to the trouble of a long distance connection if he only wants sex? Can't he have sex in his own city?? Thoughts?
I am not an expert but in my limited experience - and it's not all men, there are many scenarios - the invitation to meet is not genuine because he is not available. The closer you get to the meet up day, the more remote or distant he becomes to deter you from actually meeting. Some men love the excitement of meeting women and flirting. One man admitted he liked the excitement of meeting new women and flirting, and pretending he was single, even though he was married with two children! A long distance connection is safer as no chance of knowing the same people or bumping into each other. Easier to discard you and disappear. Only to reappear on another online site with a different name. This may not be your situation. Just my experience. That's happened to me twice. Now I only video call and at random times. If he only calls from his car or when at work - NEXT! And if he can't take my call late at night even though his social media shows he is clearly awake and online, that's another red flag. Life is too short to waste time and energy on players.

in certain situations I would think it's ok. for example if you have a dog/cat then you have a child and the child is allergic. maybe you try with medicine and stuff first. but if it's not working good. and the child is suffering. Much needed tips for online dating, especially during Covid when you don’t necessarily want to meet up with every guy you chat with online. I get so many that want to meet in person right away. I find that challenging and having to try to explain that I’d like to be friends first or at least know there’s potential.

I met my current boyfriend on a dating site. Unlike a lot of women, I made sure to search for men in my town, didn't matter if they lived near my neighborhood or on the other side of town, as long as they were local, and meeting in person was a reality. Turns out we're still going strong almost 8 months together. BUT... We met 5 years ago. We started out as... FWB... Yep. Then, once I got tired of FWB and wanted something serious, I used online dating to find... WHO? HIM! After not seeing him in a few years, it was amazing to know that he has had feelings for me all those years ago, but was too shy to tell me. Very rare that our FWB situation would turn into something serious years later. I'm still a little bit in shock, knowing that he who once was just a friend I had sex with on a regular basis, wanted to be mine and mine only. Yes to online dating please! I just started online dating and I'm not having any luck with meeting guys in person. Seems all they want to do is chat or text with you.
If that’s all they want to do then move on to the next because they are only wasting your time! Guys will eventually want to meet you after texting or chatting with you even for a few days if you guys are always texting back and forth. If they aren’t interested then they wouldn’t even suggest meeting in person. Like even if you suggest to meet in person and they say no, then they are showing signs they aren’t really interested and they are just talking to you just because you’re showing signs of interest and it makes them feel good about themselves.
Guys who are actually interested in meeting you will initiate the conversations and they would make it a priority to meet you in person after chatting for a few days. I would normally say to meet to guy any time between the 4th to 5th day of chatting with them because things are still fresh yet not many days have passed since you guys started chatting. I mean even if you chatted for a whole week I feel like meeting them in person the following week would be a good time frame as well. That way you get a vibe from them thru text but then when meeting in person you get a whole different vibe. Being able to vibe both ways, in person and thru text, to me is very important.
Just my thought about it lol. Good luck! You will go thru meeting a lot of people before you find the right one. Just be sure to make the right conscious decision and not just an emotional one because that could lead to bad choices and later a regrettable decision.

I'm paying for Match (my favorite in the late 90s) and OK Cupid (my favorite by far now); but also on Tinder, Bumble, coffee Meets Bagel, Happn, and Hinge. No dates for the past year; before Covid I've only met someone via Match, Cupid, and once with Bagel.

Your pets will always be your pets but your spouse? Who knows. I'm not giving up a pet for someone who might leave or make me want to leave.

Also, most people are either lying about allergies or don’t have bad enough allergies that they couldn’t handle it if they really loved you. I lived with a dog for 5 years and I’m super allergic! Not anaphylaxis allergic but still quite bad. There were times I would just touch her and some random part of my body would break out in hives. Even on two different prescriptions for allergies my nose would drip like a faucet at times. 🤧 My point is, most people with allergies can handle it and they don’t love you if they would expect you to get rid of your baby animal. Who would want to be with such a monster anyway?

We would be coming up on 2 years together in May and he can’t tell me he’s in love with me so a week ago I said cool, help me pack up what I can into my car and you can finish packing up for me and drive it back to the city I moved from to go live with him because he asked me to... said he cares greatly about me and his intention was never to hurt me but that he doesn’t know if he can ever say he’s “in love”... he treated me like his queen. Best relationship he and I have ever had. Effortless, never even fought! We all deserve to be told we’re loved though so I left.

I would definitely like videos about online dating. Here's an issue. It's happened more than once: he is not in the same city. He invites me to meet him. At that point (I'm only talking about guys I've been talking to for a period of time, of course), he talks less. My thought? If you invite a person to travel to see you, you should ramp UP the conversation. Their idea? They say they will talk more when they know me more? At that point, I give up on him, because I think he's playing me. Seems obvious, but why would a guy go to the trouble of a long distance connection if he only wants sex? Can't he have sex in his own city?? Thoughts?
I am not an expert but in my limited experience - and it's not all men, there are many scenarios - the invitation to meet is not genuine because he is not available. The closer you get to the meet up day, the more remote or distant he becomes to deter you from actually meeting. Some men love the excitement of meeting women and flirting. One man admitted he liked the excitement of meeting new women and flirting, and pretending he was single, even though he was married with two children! A long distance connection is safer as no chance of knowing the same people or bumping into each other. Easier to discard you and disappear. Only to reappear on another online site with a different name. This may not be your situation. Just my experience.
That's happened to me twice. Now I only video call and at random times. If he only calls from his car or when at work - NEXT! And if he can't take my call late at night even though his social media shows he is clearly awake and online, that's another red flag. Life is too short to waste time and energy on players.
