LOOL, a guy I was talking to (on an app) for like 3 days went ghost for 5, and then hit my app like "hey how was your day?" I told him I wasn't interested anymore, and a day later he replied saying "I was never interested in you, I was interested in someone else. You're not that hot anyway. Don't reply back (clown emoji)." That gave me a GOOD laugh as I blocked him. Shits ridiculous.
This day and age that is odd to me. I get it I guess. But I don't like talking on the phone like that to anyone. Every now and then I'm in the mood to talk. I like to enjoy watching a movie, or what have you. And still being able to converse with someone.
There was this guy that I was seriously thinking of dating and we would video chat etc. and that gave me the answer that I needed. He had a severe drinking problem. We were on a video chat for 30 min and he downed 4 beers within that time. No thank you, stage left.
I love this response. Will defiently be using that in the future. I already know that's the type I'm gonna come across. Heck that's all I ever come across.

Number 9 breaks my heart but I can see it's so true. He used to send Good Morning and Good Night texts, it made me think he cared and was serious about us but then when we were together I always felt like something was off...our conversation never flowed, I couldn't feel a strong connection from him, I was more interested in his life than he was in mine, the one emotion I always felt when I was with him was frustration.
I stopped replying to the good morning good night Messages to realize if he was sending it to a lot of girls and yes, I had like 6 good morning good night in a row

Anytime a guy tries to convince me "he's a good one"- major red flag. Feels like a salesman convincing me to buy something I don't need. Out of blue, one guy said to me, "I don't beat my women." Ohhh, you want points for not beating someone- instead of just being a decent person. So many red flags and levels of strange. I left 2 seconds later and never looked back.
A guy once told me that, come to find out he had his hand in many hairy pies, lying to multiple women, playing games, mental/emotional manipulation. He swore that he was different but I knew better.

Yep mistaking personal history is Real ! Once a guy i was dating told me on our third date i made this smoked cheese just for you cause i know how much you love it , and i was like no never , i don't like any kind of smoked food ! I've never said that ! He was insisting and i was denying ! So i told him you must be mistaken me for someone else ! He had that awkward moment and awkward laugh and he said yeah ! I kept it cool and classy about an hour and i told him i must be somewhere else and i left and i left for Good 😊
I think a guy is the right guy for you when you feel great around his presence. In few words his way of being makes your own life worth of living. You feel protected and loved by him.

I saw a couple "when he texts you" messages. I noticed a pattern where some guys only message during work hours. Now it's a total tip off that they're already in a relationship.
He keeps the conversation very light and superficial and it's always the same few topics over and over....the weather, compliments your appearance, what did you/he did today, something in the news; nothing too deep or personal.

Yep. Been there. Red flag if the guy takes no interest in your life it means exactly that - he's not interested. Don't waste your valuable time being his sounding board, listening to his life.
@@adday. We had already been on a date in person, where he asked nothing about me then either. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was nervous at the time or something, even though he had no trouble talking about himself. Then when we had two more conversations on the phone, he droned on and on about himself in a monotone to the point I would start yawning and couldn't stop. Imagine having to hear an hour and half about a stranger's (and his mother's) in-depth medical history, his ex-wife, etc. And none of it was interesting, either. I had tried to interject and give him some info about myself, but remembered none of it when I asked about it later.
Yeah I had a guy who wanted to call me "Sunshine"....even though I'm not a real smiley or 'sunshiney' person. I found out later he was seeing multiple women behind my back (we were supposed to be exclusive). At most, it wasn't a nickname that he'd given much thought to as it didn't match my personality at all. At worst, it was for the reason you mentioned.

Yeah my ex was always about the good morning text. I thought it was sweet. Because he would get for work way earlier then I did. Because I thought he didn't want to wake me. Smh. I eventually found out that everything with him was a facade.

#9 came to me as quite a shock! But now in hindsight... Yup! I used to get the “good morning” text and then later in the evening the “how was your day?” text like clockwork without much being said throughout the day or on weekends. It was the same routine every single day so I eventually got bored with it and quit answering. Glad I did!

I have never liked the good morning/good night texts out of context. It feels weird and obligatory and unnatural. Like when someone brings flowers on a first meet/coffee date.
It is far easier for them to hide their real personality in texts. A real voice conversation tells a person a lot more! I will never trust a guy that will not accept voice calls....especially when work is done . My ex is a master manipulator . He loved texting which aided his disrespectful behaviour. Be careful .

I texted my friend good morning, then decided to call him afterwards. Instead of him answering he texted back " May I call you later?" That red flag went up. He called me later that evening around six. I didn't answer. Wow, this is mind blowing! I am happy that I did not put too much time into this....whatever this was.

I had tried to interject and give him some info about myself, but remembered none of it when I asked about it later.
