There are thousands and people screaming on the top of their lungs, while each and everyone still has his or her unique voice. So... They should sound really different right? Well.... No. Because we are not able to tell all of those voices apart, what we perceive is a huge cluster of frequencies and whenever there are enough people, the sound ends up being similar, because no matter of whose voices "the crowds voice" consists, as soon as there are enough people, all of those frequencies will be present, which explains why large crowds sound really similar to each other.

No hate here, but i think we should definetly stop the acting like "our" music genre, whatever it is, is somehow superior to others. I mean have you seen Travis Scott concerts or Ed Sheeran, or even people like Justin Bieber or the incredibly synced up crowds at really good Techno shows? To be clear i don't dislike this at all, i just think there are lots of genres and music styles which can move a crowd just as much and all of them electrify in their way.

I really expected to see Queen at Live Aid. Oh well...
Matthew Clark is funny that is in the thumbnail but not in the video
@@tugarik1405 yeah...
heeeeeeey Yoooooooo! say PUck You PewDiePie and T series!
Meanwhile at pop concerts:
Singer: I want you to sing this part!
Crowd: *stays silent*
Brazil and Argentina best crowd in the world!
😀
Argentina still loved by Megadeth
Iron Maiden. Santiago, Chile 2011
Absolutely
And uk
3 years ago Greenday had a concert in Hyde Park, London and the entire crowd sang Bohemian Rhapsody before the show, brings shivers down your spine.
i see what you did there
Thats a tradition green day has for live shows
Adele: Never thought I’d find..

Gotta love the drummers, everyone singing Valhalla, the band looking on in awe, the drummers like let's spice this shit up
People don't sing along like they used to because they're too busy filming
You're wrong.
Elis Gabriela Marcu i do both
Bitch, have you seen Bon Jovi live
its so the can relive the moment again
Ok boomer
The Valhalla one was SO great.
My favorite part is the drummer went with it but the iron maiden clip is absolutely beautiful
the last one was beautiful
Goes to show how much power being together is.
Is jumpdafuckup from every Slipknot concert on this list?
Fuck yeah!
Henry Matteson it damn well better be!
My first slipknot show when they played spit it out & had everyone do the jump the fuck up, I legit thought i was gonna die lmao. I had 5 ppl on top of me, granted it was the first knotfest in Iowa & the crowd was as big as the crowd in this video
Henry Matteson I was thereeeee
00:10 I love this riff so much, its so pure yet so dark, i cant explain it.. i love it so much
I think "Megadeth, aguante Megadeth" should be on this list.
nachoakdful I'm very dissapointed it was not on the list. That was a hell of a crowd participant.
Me too.
Crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody before a green day concert is still number 1
Queen: Irorere (before Under Preasure live on Wembley)
Metallica: Die, die, die (during Creeping Death)
Sabaton: Jump! (Primo Victoria live on Woodstock Poland)
Omg, goosebumps on the whole body at the point when the crowd sang "we will rock you"! Same at the "Valhalla" thing.
Unbelieveable 😍😍😍
where the hell is In the End - Linkin Park? or Numb from Chester’s tribute concert?
Jill St. Clair this was made two years ago....
Jackie Elizabeth ahh I didn’t notice. but still, In the End was always really powerful live when the audience sang the bridge
Noob chester die 2017 this video 2016
Peter Alexander Vera Espinoza Noob can’t read the other comments where people already stated that.
apparently, People in the Hollywood bowl singing In the end and Numb last 2 years ago, Check it out if you see it.
Can u imagine the emotion as an artist you would have in this moment
The crowd singing "Love of my Life" along with Queen in Rock in Rio 1985 is one of the most beautiful moments of rock n roll ever!!
A big miss of this video, should definitely be included.
Agreed
Saw the thumbnail. So clicked on it. Love Freddie 😘😘❤️❤️
What about Queen at Live Aid? With the Ay-ohs?!
i mean dude every Queen show could be on the list
Generally accepted as the greatest 20 minute concert ever. Yeah, definitely the number #1 crowd participation song, that's why it was used as click-bait.
Number 1
No other music genre electrifies crowds like ROCK!
One great song, THOUSANDS of voices.
@@soerenbo
Who said anything about superior? I’m just pointing out the effect of great rock music. It’s not a competition.
@@ironfae "No other music genre..." - Yes absolutly nothing superior here... Did you read your own comment?
@@soerenbo
Do YOU know the difference in contexts? With all the different metaphors available, “electrifies” does NOT imply anything superior. Quit trying to twist what I’ve said into something stupid. Maybe a little more practice in language comprehension would do you some good. I haven’t ONCE said anything to make any bias implications that favor anything. In fact I’ve got plenty of love and respect for other music genres. It’s YOU that keeps trying to suggest the wrong thing.
Maybe you can just shut up and enjoy the f’kn video.
Oasis Don't look back in anger live in Argentina.
Kenzo Topgay YES
100%
yea none of these can hold a candle to the argentina concerts
Anything in Argentina basically
fuckin goosebumps
αѕѕαѕѕɪиαтσꝛ exactly especially slipknot 🤘🤘
The last one is the sound of Vikings. Literally.
I drove past last week they are still chanting Valhalla
There is nothing better than singing along to fear of the dark at a Maiden concert, pure shivers
FUCK I love Blind Guardian so much.
The Mime me too. I wanna see them so bad
The Mime i
There were fucking awesome! You need to see them!
the bards song was insane!!! the whole song!!!
This entire list could have been Freddy lol

Watching this during COVID... shedding a tear for the good old days ... !!
i was specting to see crowd gone insane, i was specting to see megadeth,AC/DC, jijiji in Argentina, metallica and pantera in moscow, anthrax on chile, some woodstock and download 2007....
AC/DC en Argentina era esencial
El aguante Megadeth también
Coolest crowd participation was "radio Ga-ga" at Live Aid
@stargazer _099 nah', Radio GaGa live is still cooler
Live AIDs with Freddy was the cruellest joke ever lmao
@@rbjm i dont know bout you but millions of people chanting die, jumping, making moshpits and headbanging, is better than a few people clapping and saying radio gaga
Oh and, theres a helicopter throwing shits at the crowd lmao
@stargazer _099 i've just watched that concert and I must tell you that no band can touch queen's crowd participation
One of the best I was apart of - several times: The Grateful Dead closing with Not Fade Away and the crowd continuing to sing “Love is real, not fade away” after band left the stage until they would come out to do encore. Some shows they let this go on for almost 5 minutes!
QUEEN👑👑
Wind of change was beautiful and emotional❤
Didnt include Eddie Vedder's singing "Black" in tribute to Chris Cornell. That had me in tears when Eddie couldnt sing because the he was fighting back tears and the crowd carries on when he couldn't. So powerful!
Watching these because i miss going to concerts. Quarentine 2020
Glad to see Blind GuardianValhalla from Imaginations through the looking glass on here. So much atmosphere and connection between band and audience. The Bard's song is also a good candidate
I cannot wait for days like this again. Concerts are the one thing I never thought would be taken away
