Some said this group is like a family, especially with the team tasks - Mum (Jenny) has taken the older two kids out while Dad stays home with the youngest. Mae is the eldest, wanting perfection and to make their parents proud, Kiell the cheeky middle child and Ivo the youngest who tries his hardest to keep up with his siblings but fails even though he tries hard
I read somewhere it is cast as a sitcom, so you may be onto something.
Ivo was the most hilarious competitor in this edition! (He could have "popped up" and been the most brilliant thing!) His solve of the "spin the pulper" task was inspired; his facial expression to the camera when Frankie refused to listen to him on the numbers part of the team task was a pure "FFS" if I ever saw one; and his taking the piss out of Jenny on the final task was "chef's kiss", considering that Jenny had jokingly asked, "At what point does this become bullying?" BAHAHAHA!!! Shout out to Mae's reaction to Alex calling the Canadian accent a genreric American accident! 🇨🇦Sorry🇨🇦, not sorry!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hey Neil, any plans to watch Stormester, the Danish taskmaster? Its the only other series that captures the vibe of the British show perfectly and has a taskmaster with the right charisma AND commanding presence! Highly recommend.
After listening to the podcast I'd love to see the uncut version of the jellybean task , Kiel says it was editted in his favour, Mae said they lost it completely at him, this is why people don't like him etc
Nothing against Mae and the others, but Ivo is my favourite.
Watch Derry Girls and compare it to Irish contestants like Aisling and Joanne McNally and you'll never confuse the two again. They are so different.
