I'm more passionate about this than I probably should be.
That's an excellent argument! But for the sake of playing devil's advocate, could you argue that making an eraser incapable of its intended purpose would, in a sense, make it not an eraser? I've tried to use a soggy eraser before, and can summarise that moisture renders it basically obsolete.
@@Karolina-qr5pz not in my experience. I got an eraser (one that gets rid of pencil really well) wet and even after it dried, it wasn't as good. Him being angry is a part of his life as a comedian. I don't know if you've seen his stand-up, but essentially he's always playing a character (like Richard Ayaode or Alex Horne). He really loves the show, he talked about how excited he was and how much fun he had, and the others have talked about how hilarious they found him. You can see the difference in energy when people are genuinely angry at each other (Lou and Iain) versus when James is playing it up for laughs. He never winks or acts sarcastic to giveaway the joke, he plays it totally straight which I find unbelievably funny. You can see Greg losing it as well whenever Jame gets angry.

It was like one of those terrible ones that just leaves dark smudges on the paper. The good eraser ceased to exist and was transformed into a terrible paperweight.
And in the context of the S1 ice block challenge where tossing it in a river until it's out of sight isn't "making it disappear" because the ice "didn't cease to exist"... I'm boilin!
@@srahhh for the ice, I'm pretty sure it wasn't considered as 'disappeared' because Alex could still see it. He kept following it down the river and stopped the timer when he lost sight of it.
@@lisahenry20 Definitely something he'd probably have gotten away with in the middle seasons, though!
James Acaster gets so damn angry during this show...it's a bit hilarious. I hope he enjoyed being on, secretly.
I just kept thinking "...I can see why Rose broke up with him."
He absolutely loved being on the show. He's actually a huge fan of the show.
@@LoneKharnivore oh wow, yikes dude.
The first time I watched his series, I thought he was too angry, a bit too much of a dick to Alex and a little egotistical with his "I'm so punk" shtick.
After watching some of his solo stuff and through the series again, I came to appreciate him a lot more and be way too charmed by his wit. First episodes "I know its early days, but are we the dumbest ones?"
I can't stop replaying Ed saying, "David, you prick." 😂😂😂
Sally putting cake in Alex’s armpit is a different kind of violence
But putting cake up Alex's butt is love.
Sally has a strange yearning for kink. She needs a feisty new boyfriend or a nice new therapist.
@@molforteneliere3216 if you see her, tell her I am open to either of those options
I'm sure the water cooler felt violated as well.
@@AH-te5gs if I was the water cooler I wouldn’t have felt violated.. sorry. I love Sally!
I don't know how Ian usually is, but it was cool to see him genuinely upset with his behavior
I would like to personally thank the intern who chooses the titles for making my day
hey, people who work in socials are rarely interns, they have years of experience and are highly qualified. I'm aware you're probably joking but as someone who works in socials it is very annoying people discredit us as being interns rather than highly qualified and clever people
@@DramaQueenD I think it's just that the titles are meme references which only "da youth" might be expected to know. I think it's a TikTok thing.
@@DramaQueenD Well, you calling it "socials" is already a big tip-off you wouldn't have come up with this title.
@@thewanderingmistnull2451 how?
Lou remaining calm, collected, and kind when dealing with him was so impressive.
I was so frustrated for Iain actually, in a time based challenge asking for a "meeting" and making wrong hypothesis is really triggering
She was genuinely furious no one knew she had drawn a terrible hippo
Hahaha, it looked like so many other things (tiger, guinea pig, cat, capybara, warthog, pig, Minecraft cow) before anyone would ever say hippo!🤣😂
The WORST hippo.
I really hope that was for comedic value. If she genuinely thought that looked like a hippo and could be distinguishable to other people, it kind of speaks volumes to a vast overvaluation of her artistic ability and a lack of rational empathy(putting herself in the other players' shoes to understand how confusing and non-intuitive her drawings are to an outside party).
@@iwong3357 I think being pregnant played a part and I don't think she has the comedic skills to make that joke play. She seems more the sweary, shouty kind of comedian.
We all know now. She's the only remaining person, on Earth, that thinks she can draw a hippo.
Ian is in a different category. He's just a prick in these tasks, and to his credit, he absolutely realized it in studio and seemed humbled.
Ian couldn’t even watch Ian
Completely agree
I feel him though, when I want to do things and I feel like others are not competent (even though they often are), its like something comes over me and I become a dictator. Happened a few times in my lifetime but each incident still haunts me to this day

The hippo is a classic. As is James Acaster’s rage at Rhod’s antics.
If Romesh and his watermelon aren't in this clip, I'm going to be very upset.
NOTHING on this show has ever been more "violent", than the way he handled that task.
sorry, bud
The title is vague, but the video is clearly about being outspoken assertive towards the other contestants. Unless Romesh engaged in a verbal argument with a seedy melon, it should just splash out of here.
Or Romesh with the (lack of a) wheelbarrow.
@@SennaAugustus "There wasn't a box!" comes to mind as the most he's argued and gotten angry.
Eh, the effect was violent, but he did it by accident by over-estimating how hard it would be to break the watermelon.
"Have I been put on a team with David Badiel". Poor Ed.
Such a rude and unfunny thing to say.
@@nekonesto5837 Considering how horribly David had been doing on the show (except that episode weirdly), I thought it was absolutely hilarious. David was also laughing and he knows how terrible he is.
Ed is such a treasure. I felt sorry for him being paired with David. It makes for good comedy though.
@@nekonesto5837 yeah but it was accurate seeing as how David purposefully threw to make Ed lose. David may as well have drawn a middle finger and stuck it to Ed's forehead cause that shit was lame.
"Sorry we cheated with the communication. It REALLY helped."

If i got 100 guesses for which animal she drew, I probably still wouldn't have guessed hippo. Her anger baffles me considering how crappy her drawing is.
@@keep7smiling I guessed hippo straight away!
@@katiehough2499 Same! The whiskers confirmed it for me, I don't know why Daisy got shit on over the whiskers when hippos do in fact have them.
@@sparo_splat because its not important feature. Same as you would draw giraffe and started with "horns" sure they have horned-like bone structure, but main thing is long neck. Same with hippo - its shape of animal, or even cartoony head with rectangle teeth. Also hippo does not have whiskers like cats, it looks completely different
@@tomekgulash I'd say bad example because a giraffes horns are still pretty iconic, even if you could get it confused with a goat for example, whereas I don't think hippos are really well know at all for whiskers, certainly not that size. She just did a shit drawing, I dunno why she did it side on rather than in profile. That being said, Katherines chicken was seriously something awful.......
I think its more like drawing whiskers on a hedgehog. Sure they have them, but wtf are you doing trying to make them the main focus point.
Iain Stirling's reaction to himself was adorable and just what the world needs more of.
i've watched the clip so many times but james going "well now you can back into a satsuma and shove it up your ass" ALWAYS GETS ME 17:27
Alex just quietly losing his shit too. Gets me every time
I like Rhods response even more. “This has taken a VERY nasty turn.”
“... and we have given you the added challenge of ... being David Baddiel.”
Ed and James have a similar tolerance level for nonsense
Nothing will beat James Acaster’s unfiltered outburst at Greg Davies, unforgettable clip right there. 😂😂
I hadn't noticed before that both Mawaan and Johnny were on the floor during Daisy's hippo rant.
