Senior is not at all lost when it comes to working on agricultural machines. I assume it is what he did in his working life. Great video and a pleasure to watch. Thanks.
Looks about roughly the same as a lift all pump, just a little bit different shape. A great video, Sr. Getting that actuating fork and lever aligned is always the most difficult part of these. Nice work boys!
Senior, excellent tutorial, as usual. The 'Squatch Team' has me addicted to your channel and after going without a video for a couple of days, I get hungry as a bear. As my moniker implies, I'm old fashion and appreciate that you can do these videos in a PG-13 format. Thanks so much.
You both do an great job explaining. I remember when the project started by removing the loader you clearly stated Sr's project and he doesn't plan on setting up camera and making videos but you will be keeping us updated occasionally. Now we are seeing episode 43, I guess one can say covid has changed everyone's plans for 2020. Keep the videos coming.
Ill fill you in: the reason for this turning into a unplanned full project: tractor suddenly developed a bad engine knock, so it had to come apart for major overhaul.
I figure Senior taught Jr what he knows but how about some background on Senior. What was his trade and experience. He has a wonderful voice for narration. New subscriber here.
A pleasure to watch and learn from you fellows. Please continue as I and I'm sure many others eagerly await the next episode of the calm, competent Squatch Sr. and Squatch253 show. It's good to see Sr. in action, now we know where you got it... Good on you guys, Thanks
Your extensive knowledge in all aspects of an M are VERY impressive. I have never seen a thick washer used as a key in a pinch bolt before. VERY clever engineering and thanks for pointing it out. BTW, galvanized and black iron pipe fittings look very similar when wearing IH red paint. :-)
Learning hydraulics one of the first lessons is never to use galvanized fittings anywhere in a system. They will tend to flake off and contaminate the system.
I'm almost sure. That was one of those things. That would have been a source of major frustration for me. Trying to get that pin in that slot. PLUS the oil tube started at the same time. Great work guys!!
Can't wait to hear it run nothing sounds pretty er than an m or a 300 pulling that last load of hay out of the field getter rolling in a lower gear throttle it back click it into high walk that throttle up and listen to it pull fresh air never feels better great video guys . Just love it.
helping hand is always nice I guess I would think there is a easier way to do that as an assembly line could get really backed up fast if a couple are stubborn.
I am in the middle of replacing rear axle & PTO seals On my SuperM, If I remember correctly, in one or two of the earlier videos you mentioned how you’re replacing felt Gaskets or seals. Where are you getting the felt material or seal? Look forward to watching every video you guys come out with very interesting and informative learned a lot
Your gaskets that you make looks like you bought them, nice job. Is there a video showing you making some? What are the tools you use? I have seen some gasket making kits for this.
Getting closer to running all the time........ Had a thought overnight, Senior mentioned in a previous video that he was leaning toward going back to a 12 volt generator instead of the alternator. They now make alternators with generator styling, I believe Powermaster is one brand, generator looks with alternator reliability. Summit Racing and Speedway Motors both carry the line, which includes Delco style models. Just something to think about.........
Whatever happened to the Farmall 350 with the bad injection pump? thinking ahead, that would make an easy and fast winter project, once the super m is finished, no new paint required.
Does the liftall provide higher pressure or volume than the belly pump does? Only the supers have those, right? Are they "live" vs the clutch controlled belly pump? Thanks for great videos with excellent detail
Great video! I was expecting Squatch253's "eye twitch" to kick in on that welded actuator lever. No where near an expert but I assume that is not how it was done in the factory.......
When you had the bucket on the SuperM did you have to operate the lever on the reservoir along with the controls for the bucket or is there somewhere around that where you can just have the bucket controls to operate the bucket
😲 Goodness gracious, he wouldn't do that! That looked like a old metal thingamabob. Probably came off a junk lawnmower or something! Yeah, that definitely wasn't good kitchen wear. 😋
Thanks for sharing. Full watch and thumbs up. That has to be the version of valve for the first live pump to be on the Super H and Super M models after the belly pump days. Did they change that setup after the TA series came out?
I have noticed that you in Michigan use the word "yet" a lot, and I am sure it is part of the color of local jargon. I read, as an outsider about a woman who was shot in Lancing, and the headline was, "A woman shot in Lancing the the bullet is in her yet!" Now I wonder where a womans "yet" is. Hope you find this feeble joke somewhat funny.
Clearly Junior didn't fall far from the tree, it was a pleasure watching and listening to Senior pass on a bit of his wisdom to the rest of us.

great job Senior..did you ever imagine you would be teaching/sharing to 10K fellow enthusiasts? i enjoy this channel ...
When you and your son refurbish a Farm Tractor. When the Farm Tractor is done. It is like new and right off the showroom floor.
Seinor is the Bob Ross of oil coatings.
Another fascinatin video an nice to see even the experts use a workshop manual for reference 👍👍
Very nice attention to detail..

That's one of those devices I never thought about how they worked until I saw you take it apart. Love the old mechanical devices.
These days they'd have an expensive computer doing exactly the same thing but lacking the durability and repair-ability of the old mechanical system.
@@tpniefer Exactly my point.

The carriage bolt stand was great.

Great video. It is a pleasure to watch your videos. I wonder if IH did this good a job. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks.
IH definitely done a great job. These guys just make sure it can't get any better!

iron pipe is the preferred way to go otherwise its lipstick on a pig type of thing don't ya know lol

@@larryd8224 thanks for that bit of knowledge, wasn't aware of that.

Just love the Squatch klan! Always good stuff and I truly look forward to the visits. Thank you both so much.
Impressive! I never would have got that back together without many many many MANY swear words
Dave H
or many leftover parts
Great job as usual. Can't wait to see it painted and installed.
helping hand is always nice I guess I would think there is a easier way to do that as an assembly line could get really backed up fast if a couple are stubborn.
what a complicated part! You and Squatch are geniuses!!!!! :-) :-) :-)
Very nice job with the video again. It really fun to see it coming back together.
Enjoyed. Wish they would make something that durable now
Looks good. Great video as always. Keep them coming. I really enjoy them.
enjoying the project, keep the vids coming 👍

I shout howdy howdy
To both Junior and senior
I finally made it to class on time
And I am loving it.
I use his way of applying gasket sealer. Never had a leak.
Excellent work, i like it all !!

Great video that box is a lot more complicated than the one on my MM BF

Meanwhile your wife is looking for her baking pan... :)

I have that same auxiliary valve on my M
Great video
Why avoid galvanized fittings on hydraulic systems?
G'day cool video Seinor
Magnificent
I see. Thanks.
Squatch153 you’re not by chance using my brand new baking sheet pan in the shop?
He wouldn't dare.
😲 Goodness gracious, he wouldn't do that! That looked like a old metal thingamabob. Probably came off a junk lawnmower or something! Yeah, that definitely wasn't good kitchen wear. 😋
Thank you Sr...
Does anyone know were to find parts for a Bucyrus Erie pump on a td9 and Td9-91 series parts in general.
Thanks for sharing. Full watch and thumbs up. That has to be the version of valve for the first live pump to be on the Super H and Super M models after the belly pump days. Did they change that setup after the TA series came out?
cool
I see that IH didn't use or drill holes in the heads of those bolts that's internal. Any concern of those vibrating loose from usage?
That is an after market pump as is the wide front end.
very good video i have a super m my loader just stop working i think it's my pump
👍
Cool beans
